  • Trollfjord, one of Norway's smallest fjords, is a hidden gem located on the Lofoten Islands. This 2 km long fjord, only 100 m wide at its narrowest point, offers breathtaking scenery and a rich history. Accessible only by boat, we chose Øykongen for the best value trip from Svolvær. The tour, lasting just over three hours, showcases the stunning landscapes of Lofoten and the dramatic history of the Battle of Trollfjord in 1890.
Our journey through Trollfjord included spotting sea eagles and experiencing local wildlife up close. The narrow fjord, often visited by the Hurtigruten, has a history of rivalry and survival, making it a must-see. Don't miss the iconic Fisker Kona statue at Svolvær harbour, a tribute to the fishermen's wives. 🦅🚤🇳🇴
