Would like to say that question on LLs was very interesting. Would love to hear more about everyone's ideas for them (maybe Vince can come up with a saruman LL to fix him)

I like the heroic hold idea a lot. Nice for flying stuff looking to move second as well. If it were to be activated with might it could get endless use with Aragon or Royal Standard of Rohan + Captain. Then we could get into a meta of throwing spears at 7" against 6" move stuff with endless heroic to always move second and always be 7" away (or 6" throwing weapons against 5" move infantory), as your opponent would never be able to move twice in a row to catch you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems like something to avoid.
Yeah there could be some instances where it can be abused, overall I don't think there'd be anything too game breaking from it
@@GollumGamers I guess also they would still have to be playing the scenario; so endless kite in games not that useful

When the Australians can manage to get the $2500 together to get to europe they always seem to have no problem doing well
I think the slow down in attendance is largely for 100s as lots of 80s and 90s are still selling out quite quickly. Maybe people want to play fairly competitively but not in the meta at the top of hundreds atm?
Yeah it's a good point - also I think 80s and 90s being 1 day events offers flexibility which is very attractive for lots of people
31:55 you guys have been talking about a boxset. But honestly I think just a boxset isn't enough. I think it needs to come themed together with a small or large supplement release. But with the battle of osgilliath still being milked I suspect it will not be coming any time soon.
We do need a little more freshness in the scene. I am blessed with a very diverse army playgroup and not many meta chasers, but in tournaments the meta is getting a little boring.
I sadly don't think we'll ever see a box set released alongside a new supplement 😕 maybe in the next few years we'll get a new edition! As yes the meta in the tournament scene is getting quite stale atm
