Guys, we gotta celebrate this.. The track world has finally realized our guy Asafa Powell is an amazing, respectful and awesome person.. We getting our track legends showing up to talk to him. what more can we ask for.. Thank GOD the track world has finally seen in Asafa what we see in him..
Grandslam!! Excellent podcast , having these amazing athletes together ,laughing and telling us their life experiences in the track world . Well done Mr. Powell. Hope to see Donovan Bailey participate soon.
I am a Jamaican and seriously i cannot forget Maurice Green. He brought fire to the sport. I loved how he was pumped up before he started. I would be nervous if I were next to him. He has not gotten the respect he deserves. BBC cant touch this. This should be sold to some television network. This is legendary. I have always wanted to see something about Maurice but now It has been fulfilled. Linford nuff respect. Asafa the man and Justin Gatlin. Pure love and respect for these legends
Maurice is what Noah tries to emulate, but it comes off clownish and too extra, whilst Maurice's antics instilled intimidation and fear to other opponents. The original is always better
@@RapperHolik I agree but I still respect Noah as even if he is clown, he is the only one right now bringing that energy. But I can never get over Maurice green. That bro was a beast. Those were the days.
Since Williams-Mills spoke about Justin's support for her when she fought breast cancer, I hold nothing against him. How he behaved after beating Usain and watching him on Asafa, he seems like a really good guy. Who would have thought😎🏁
Asafa, this conversation with you guys was phenomenal-the energy and vibes were incredible! I loved how everyone was so honest. Track athletes deserve more recognition and support, and you all deserve your flowers!
Thnz Asafa as a track and field enthusiasts this was priceless. I felt like I was watching all those olimpics with the different ogs again, only this time o understand mo green better, which the topic of inform infamous false start came up... overall discussion was priceless..Amazing podcast Safa🙌👌👏
I ran the 400 and 4x400 in high school. Though I was nothing special as a runner, I did develop a special appreciation for the sport and its top practitioners. So I absolutely love seeing these interactions that the Powells create!
My childhood heroes all on one screen. Absolute chills! Thank you, thank you and thank you for putting this together. I couldn’t stop smiling throughout! ❤️
By listening to this great interview with fast lane lifestyle and these great legend you guys set pace for the upcoming athletes i don't think the sport do enough for you guys i hope someone will listen and bring it to there attention and some changes will .take place I respect you all thank you for. representing your respected country, thank you
I truly enjoyed this, all the legends sitting around sharing their opinions and us fan of the sport just being able to enjoy In 2000 literally my entire country (Barbados) was on pause for the 100m. We had Obedele Thompson in the race (our fastest sprinter in history to date), I was 8yrs old and the ONLY person I knew anything about was our "Oba", but then I'll never forget this bald headed dude, kinda looking like a pitbull or wild animal and I remember thinking who is this guy he looks crazy, that day i became a Maurice Greene fan, the man bad so much aura, he'd have transcended the sport if that was 2024. I know he'll never see this but I just wanted everyone here to know that athletes like these have impacts on not just their own countries , but the whole world, forever a GOAT of the track.
I felt lke sitting next to these, my lifetime heros. Its an amazing (heavenly) feeling listening to these GOATs, Thanks Asafa Powell/Alicia Powell for treating ur fans like ur family and sharing these videos, love your youtube channel Fast Lane Lifestyle....💕❣
Another LEGENDARY sit down! Another were I could sit and listen to you guys ALL DAY! Love you all, but being born and bred in the UK Linford Christie has always been my all time! He is the reason I started sprinting. Keep them coming Asafa! 👏🏾
This podcast was not good but GREAT. It just showed us super fans more about these legends. Always loved Linford Christie but Maurice Green 😮 ooow had me with his tongue wagging and shirt tearing (haha). Just realizing that he is actually KOOL. Big Up
Respect to your guess Linford Christie. My brother, Julian Golding, used to compete against him. I remember meeting Maurice in London, I think it was 98 or 98. Both great sprinters, not forgetting yourself Asafa. ❤️🙏
I just love this meet up. You guys need to organize yourselves to get a hall of fame. Also to get the World Olympics to give you your flowers 🎉. Totally enjoyed this.
Growing up in Kansas City Mo I never had the honor to race M. Greene in high-school. I was very fortunate to be teammates with Tim Harden in high-school. I followed both careers religiously. I enjoyed this discussion with true legendary athletes!
We need more of these please! Seeing these greats together sharing stories that we never knew happened behind the scenes. Thank you for bringing the legends of the sport together.
I love this episode. Mo Green the man who had his tongue out and I think it was intimidating. I think Gatlin got some of Green characteristics. We used not liking Christie because he didn't run for Jamaica. We respect you all. I loved the race where Asafa beat Mo and he said I will get him in the next. Great podcast. Big up.
Shout out to my Hero Maurice Greene! Winning the 100m World Championships 3 times in a row is really hard. Look at how many Champions have exchanged titles since 2017, It's Gatlin, Coleman, Kerley and Lyles en Greene did it 3 Consecutive Championships in low 9.8s.
It’s awesome to hear these legends affirm each other and hear that there is no animosity towards each other. They were all competing for the same thing. They are also right that no other media outlet would care to assemble such a line up for a cordial conversation.

@AsafaandAlyshiaPowell, thank you both for such an excellent, informative podcast. The world needed this. I often wonder how more people aren't subcribed. Well, it's their loss. You are a gem, and we are thankful. Thanks for reminding us of the contributions of some of our greats and, more importantly, for humanising them. God bless you!
Asafa. Thank you for this. The main takeaway is true. All past legends should be honoured by ALL athletics federations with passes etc for ANY meeting they choose to attend.
