After living in riverside for 20 years, I can tell you that riverside is not the same. Homeless people keeps coming from LA and OC, including gangs. The parks are ok, but every time I go, I will find people sleeping on the playground, and others smoking and drinking on the benches. To the point where I don’t take my kids anymore, I will find broken bottles on the playground and basketball courts.
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor within the next 4-6 months, I will be moving to either Riverside or Miami. My salary will actually govern my decision. I would really like to rent a room at somebody's house. Or would try to rent a room at student hostel at UCR.
I loved living in Riverside I lived there for 36 years...I moved to Crestline CA then Missouri... no place like home in Riverside. I would move back if I could afford it
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor Yes Jose. I have proof too and the agencies that are supposed to intervene on behalf of people are not able or interested in seeing my proof. If you live or do buisness within the down town area, City Hall will be your worst enemy.
CONS: Exhaust fumes from La and Santiago pour into Riverside its a valley. Tap water tastes and smells like the toilet; Reclaimed sewage water. the Hells Angels headquarters; very violent place to grow up. Smog Warnings on very dry hot summer days.

Sounds like you'may be thinking of leaving Riverside?
Sounds like NYC
Not to mention the hype needles found at Bonaminio Park. Right next to the river bottom, homeless haven.
Thank you Jose. The information provided by you is definitely helping me choose the place to move to. Thanks again.
You're very welcome. Always happy to hear when the info is helpful. What time fram are you looking at for making a move?

2 Fantastic features of Riverside. Thanks for the input Erica 😃
These are all definitely tips that I can relate to, living just 35 miles west of you!
Thanks for that Mary. You really aren't too far away 😃
Good tips!
Thanks. Glad you felt that way.
I’m a proud riversider
Plenty to be proud of here in Riverside
Christmas lights at the Mission inn.
Great point.. they are definitely really nice every year
The power utilities are privately owned by the city. They commit billing fraud and there is nothing you can do about it.
I'm sorry to hear it sounds like this is something you've experienced

Pro...Castle Park....Lol...now that's funny
Sounds like you're not much of a fan of Castle Park. What would you say is a more fitting pro?

Obviously you are not a fan of Riverside... if given the choice though, where would you live instead?
