- Hello everyone, this is the beginning of a new adventure! In this series we will go over the Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum arcs of the manga “Pokemon Special.” This is going to probably be my magnum opus (not the video, the series) and I hope you’ll join along for the ride! Without further adue, here is the cast of this episode!
Lets just recap: Pokespe, What is it?
A brief summary to that question is that Pokemon Special (PokeSpe) is a long line of Pokemon manga which are heavily inspired from the video games. This manga is a completely different entity than the anime in that it keeps its stories and characters chained to their region of origin (mostly). In the Diamond and Pearl chapter we follow Platinum on her quest to the top of Mount Coronet, with Diamond and Pearl acting as spontaneous bodyguards to the titular character whilst perusing their own dreams of becoming an iconic comedy duo.

Platinum's voice is so realistic

I think this one of the best comic dubs by sheer quality and sheer longest for the video. Btw diamond and pearl are one the best character in the pokemon adventure because i can relate big time to them as lazy person, and nobody will fight me!

I’ve come back to listen to this every now and again and I still enjoy it immensely! Not sure if you are continuing the series since I think the title has changed from the last time I checked out this video, but I hope you are. This was my first experience with this arc of the manga and as much as I want to continue passed this point even if I bought the volume/volumes my visual impairment will make it nearly impossible for me to experience the story that way unfortunately. Even still, I’m thankful for even getting introduced to this section of the manga and one way or another I’ll experience this story fully!

God i wonder, what amazing character development happen diamond and pearl to get all 8 badge and challenge the elite four or it is one of luckiest and dumbest level string of event for that to happen

A really well done dub of my favorite arc of Pokémon Adventures. I really hope you all get around to making more videos dubbing what comes after. It would be just perfect to be able to introduce people to the manga through a superb dub like this, and to be able to hear that perfect ending acted out.
Due to this dub I actually ended up reading this part of Pokémon Adventures and coming back to it I love it even more! I’m not sure if you’re still doing this but if you are I can’t wait for the next part!

Man this is great! Great work to all of you! I've heard of the manga series for pokemon, but this is actually the first time I've read them (Granted, I'm more so watching but you get the point)- The announcement of the sinnoh remakes had gotten me to look back at these characters. Though, unlike most people, I haven't really played the games, and the anime was what exposed me more to gen 4 akshds
And woah, Dawn is really different here o.O Barry/pearl seems more or less the same, and we got Lucas/Diamond as a main character! It's kinda a shame that the anime never really included the male protags aside from cameos in their runtime... I'm looking at my boi Brendan 😞
I guess Diamond is characterized as more of a glutton and kinda lazy here, and Dawn is a posh girl who don't need no man. Sounds interesting! Ah, I guess I should just stop talking and read the manga already sakdbkj

This Was Really Good, I Was Hesitant On Watching This Because People Said This Manga Was... “Weird”...
