That really is the whole package now! Don't even know what to say... WOW!! Congratulations👍🏻 As others have mentioned, some good idle time may help it to find a happy place on the low jet. IE; cold start and allow to idle for a couple minutes, make a cut or two then idle for a solid minute or two. Just what I'm thinking🤷🏻♂️
Tasteful? You do realize that Stihl chainsaws were primarily black and gray from 1928 until 1973? I refuse to dye mine those colors for that reason. Cool? Yes!!! But that's Stihl colors. Why not paint your Chevy engine Ford Blue? Husky has always been orange or orange/white.
I have 2 of these stock use every day in hardwood and they both like to be primed before they want to start if they sit for a bit… I call them the 60cc saws that can
My stock 562mk2 has the exakt same starting problem. It has 20hr runtime on it since feb, and i just got worse with the time and it ended up staling on idle. I got a new carb put on it on the garanti but i haven´t run it since.
Looks and sounds great! Gotta stop with the mark II vids though because every time I see one it pisses me off about the mark 1 I bought last Sept! 😁👍🏼👍🏼
Looks sick dyed black i love it , how do you keep the starter decal from getting dyed? Or does the dye not effect it? Runs awsome to there sure impresive saws .
I removed the decal, sprayed the adhesive side with goo gone and removed all sticky stuff, then reapplied with spray adhesive after dying. The dye doesn't fully effect them, but it does darken them, and I didn't want that.

@@oakiewoodsman Yeah it does, looks really good!! Makes me think of a Decepticon from Transformers! Maybe an idea 4 a short vid introducing the world 2 Husq 562mkII/(insert Decepticon name here)!
I did not port the 400, that was done by Ethan Trainer. But... the 400 has given me and Ethan both all sorts of headaches. Just for that reason alone, I already prefer this Husqvarna. It is a well engineered product.
@novicelumberjack thanks for your input. Not happy with my 400 with 25" bar. Got the 562 Mk II. She will pull a 24 with some gusto. Thanks for covering the 562 MK II, extensively.
For me... I see $$zero$$ value in a 2172. Because you can likely get a 2171 for the same price. Nothing exactly wrong with a 2172, but there is just sooo much RIGHT with the 2171.
Is it me those first two cuts seemed slow. Up to a minute 25. Gotta say that camera work going around it and above the log was impressive, more impressive than the cutting. ROFLMAO Must be the cup o java hahaha. If you port an autotune does it frag itself back down to normal... hmmmmm ....
They had to make the new 562 nice because the 5 series has just been an absolute disaster for them. Husqvarna slipped on quality control for a long time then the parts debacle really sucked. Glad to see them finally getting their $hit together. This is coming from a die hard Husq guy.
The 5 series has been a disaster for them? 😂 Get real man. The 5 series has been really great overall. They’ve had problems and they’ve worked them out over time. New tech always goes that way and that’s not brand specific.
@63Degrees... let me introduce you to Matt House- one of the best. He knows what he is talking about, and I agree with him. The 5 series has been a total debacle. They have indeed made some great saws, but the failure rate is far too big and when they fail, it is disastrous. I just had a nearly brand new saw and it decided that the piston wanted to separate from the rest of the saw at peak rpm for no good reason. Yeah, they have had their problems.
@@63DegreesNorth yup a disaster… I’ve been running Husqvarna for over 20 years for work saws and still do. I love the brand it’s my favorite saw. The company I work for has its own saw shop and the shear amount of bottom ends they’ve lost in the the 5 series is staggering. Especially the bad run of bearings they had in the 550/545. Look at how many revisions they’ve made in the 562 since 2012 whether it was carbs, cooling issues etc. Fallers getting maybe a season out of the 572 before the bearings fell apart. I have a 550mkii here on the bench that has maybe 20 hours on it before the FW bearing came apart. I finally broke down and bought a 400c and immediately sent it out for porting and that saw has been going hard for almost 3 years without a single issue. It’s been a phenomenal saw for me.
@@Houseworksaws That blows my mind, but I’ll eat humble pie and take you at your word and earned reputation Matt. I’ve been through the Mk1 and Mk2 550XP and 560XP’s, 576XP and now a 572XP, plus Mk2 and now Mk3 T540XP’s and recently added a 592XP to replace an ancient Solo 694. Never a moments trouble with any of them, but I’m not working them full-time and haven’t the ability to observe lots of units in use and how they stand up over time. Maybe I’m just one of the lucky ones I guess! I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best 😅

Stick a 22" tsumura LW bar on there and you'd have an amazingly fast, handy, work saw.
Would be a great combo
