The pareshnath Jain Mandir also known as the Kolkata Jain Mandir. It is a major tourist places in north kolkata west bengal. The temple complex consists of four temple inside it, like 1)The Shitalnath Ji temple 2) The Mahabir Swami temple 3)Dadawadi & Kushal Ji temple & 4) Chandraprabhu Swami temple. The interiors of the temple are decorated with high quantity mirrors and glass and the ceiling are adorned with Jhar Batti.This jain temple was built by a jain named Rai Badridas Bahadur Mookim in 1867. pratishtha was done by Sri Kalyan Surishwar Ji Maharaj. The whole environment of the temple radiates much peaceful and serenity that has a very beautiful effect on the mind, body and spirit. One of the mejor attraction of the temple is a Lamp,which is burning with ghee perpetually inside the sanctum sanctorum since the inception of the temple in 1867 and still now.
