It's interesting that Tom's new costume is Batman, the hero, while Jerry's is the Joker, the villain. This reinforces the idea, especially in modern times, that Jerry is actually the true villain, not Tom.
Plus I think tom has actually dressed as batman a few times before

@@smashers6971 to be honest, in one episode Jerry's actions directly cause Tom's death and he laughs it off, in another Tom is executed by the guillotine because of Jerry's gluttony so by all means Tom's hatred for Jerry is justify. Also this is Batman and Joker, no matter if the Joker hasn't done anything yet, Batman will beat him up because he knows how much of a threat Joker is if let free to his own devices

Both Batman and Tom hated joker and Jerry because double j’s make them jerks especially when they’re humiliating them, causing them to get angrier. They really need to do a crossover film where tom is Batman’s psychic while he teaches him how to defend himself without being bullied otherwise. While joker sees potential towards jerry.

I must say, that Bruce Wayne skin is so good that I won't hesitate in getting it, been saving up gleamium to buy the next two passes but that skin might be worth it (my only Batman skins are circuit drone and shark week, I need a good skin for one of my mains)
