Somewhat ‘late to the party’ here with commenting from when you originally published this video, Dusty, I know…not without its flaws, this is a Stonemaier Game that we do still like to play alot in our family! We currently own the retail version/edition, but I’m definitely looking to upgrade to the Collector’s version/edition components. …I’m a big fan of the books and super impressed by this game’s quality of card graphics/artwork (and, a lot/100+ of them, too)! In my opinion, the accuracy of the character depictions in the card graphics/artwork are on point and top notch; alot of attention to detail, for sure, and stayed true, I think, to the books (Fitchner’s bubble gum, etc). Thanks for the solo playthrough! I was curious to get a feel for how it plays. Glad to see I'm not the only one who gets lost in my train of thought when trying to film a play-through. It is harder to do than it looks 😄 Love your channel ❤

I recorded two videos. I recorded this one, with full intention on posting it exactly as you see it. Then I was thinking "I didn't really answer how long a solo game took me because discussing my moves, and automas turn, takes time. So I played another one, on camera, like this, but just played the game. That one was the one I wondered whether there was any value in posting. :) I'm glad you checked out the video, Keven.. and I did end up getting Klingon subtitles turned on. I didn't know I had to manually do that. My bad. :)

Min 31 instead of moving the pink to the institute and picking it from there you should have done it to Luna to get the same reward (your house ability) and the sovereign token.
Yeah, there is no doubt if you watch any of my playthrough videos that there are probably no limit to the number of better moves I could have made. XD

Thanks for the play through its helpful to see how it works. I’ve seen some of the review videos but this gave a much better picture of what to expect for the single player gameplay.

You pulled it off, I was sure you were on the wrong side of a hammering there mate. Great video; I have the collectors edition too, but have been saving it until I can gather some people around to play it. After watching this however, I might solo it.
Great victory, but Tull Au Toma was no push over!
Yeah, I wasn't sure I'd pull it off, but it worked out alright. I'm glad you liked the video and I hope if you've soloed it, you enjoyed it. I think it plays solo really nicely. May you fair well against Tull Au Toma!

A couple of time I think you forgot about the special ability of your house and moved a card to the institute to gain a influence token, but could have instead put the card on luna, to also gain the sovereign. Of course in the end Tull Au Toma played on Luna after each of these turn and would have gain the sovereign back, but it was worth the risk to try to remove 10 points from the Automa!
But of course I say that without playing, can be easy to miss especially while filming :)
Thank you for bringing attention to that. If you think I did, I most likely did, for me, there's a lot going on with me trying to not only be fair to the gameplay, but also trying to pay attention to what I'm saying, what's on camera, getting rules correct - but occasionally something is missed. Thank you for understanding, I hope it wasn't too terribly off-putting.
@@TheMillShow No as said I would probably do the exact same type of mistake if I was in the same situation, it's easy to pickup when you watch someone doing than when you do it yourself :)
And thanks for the video, made me want to try again and properly the automa mode, last time I wanted to try I got overwhelmed by the automa rules, they are simple but as I hadn't played the base game, too much to learn in one go.

Hey Dusty, your instructions in the sidebar mention the Klingon subtitles, but that doesn’t appear to be an option. The only subtitle option enabled is English (auto generated).
It might only show up after I add something. I’ll look into it. Thank you for letting me know.
Fixed! I didn't know there was something I had to manually do on my end to enable them even before I added anything. It's fixed now. And I fixed some bad math. :) I lost! lol.
Ugh, I need to get this, just to collect even, I read the first 3 and started the 4th book, they're so good, when Darrow goes back underground, that part broke my heart, and when he reaches the deck during the Jupiter battle, that one made me cry so hard, I kinda-of want them to not be made into movies out of fear they'll mess everything up

Did you remember the base 70 points that the Automa gets by default?
I did. I did make a different scoring error though. It’s detailed on the Klingon channel. Automa squeaked out a win after all.
Can anybody explain the Cynther card? It sais that if you take a blue card from this location end your turn. That means that I will not take the corresponding bonus of that location? I will only take the blue card?
