    Some great tips in this video, but i dare say she was too high on the right side. The template should cover the whole bald area, especially if you plan to attach with clips. Also imho she should have put temple flaps on the sides to avoid exposing recession at the temples and an unnatural hairline.

      Thank you for clarifying and saying what I was thinking as well. Question.. in the event, she would’ve done it the way that you’re suggesting would the temple flaps be lacefront? I don’t know how these faces look before the cut. I’m just curious if the lacefront is long enough to cover that entire hairline in the front. Thank you for your time and knowledge..

      @@bourbonbarbie5989 The temple flaps can be lace or poly depending on the system ordered. For a stock full lace system it's easy to cut flaps in according to the template (there are other videos on how). If it's poly perimeter i think you could also cut it in in the same way (though i never done that). The lace is basically bowl-shaped and will be cut to the need. With an standard 8x10 system there should be enough lace on the side to get a decent flap. The flap can't be too long on the sides either or it will stick out. And if you order custom it should come already cut.

    How do you glue the piece? Do you use any kind of glues? Any side effect using glue for a long period of time?

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  4 роки тому

      Hi Daniel - thanks for your questions. Here's a video that shows the glue application process from the same series of videos: ua-cam.com/video/i4LSuRwzCLI/v-deo.html. And here's a written guide: www.lordhair.com/how-to-order/hair-care/adhesive-attaching-guide.html. You have to use hair system glue which we don't stock but it's readily available online and elsewhere. There shouldn't be any side effects but you should always test out a small amount of the glue on your skin first.

      I like Lord hair and know that you can order it from Amazan and get it in 5 or 6 days to 45 days. she isn't very knowledgeable about a few of the details.
      Like when she said you need your hair to grow to secure the bond, it's the exact opposite, when your hair stars growing bond loosen common sense

    Suppose I need a hairpiece like this, but only for the immediate front? I am also curious if it is possible to keep the receded temples as well.

      It sounds like you're talking about frontal hair systems. If so, then this is the link to our stock frontal: www.lordhair.com/frontal-hairpiece-super-thin-skin-base.html

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Raghavendra - you actually need to use specialist wig/hair system tape. You can see some types of tape on our site: www.lordhair.com/accessories/maintenance-accessories.html.

    How do you shave the head at the first place? Do you just randomly shave it?

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  4 роки тому +2

      Hi - in a way, yes but you should have a good idea of the part of the scalp you want your hair system to cover. If you're shaving your head to wear one of our stock units then bear in mind that the largest (and standard) base size of our stock units is 8" (width) x 10" (length). Shaving the first time might involve an element of guesswork but once you have a template and a hair system that you are happy with you can use a template each time you shave your head.

    Use clear tape not masking tape, it's much easier.

    How about the hair density , colour and texture ? How can we show that without actually letting the system maker see that

      Hi Elly - you should send us a hair sample because with the right sample we could work out those characteristics of the hair. This page will explain what to do: www.lordhair.com/how-to-order/send-in-templates-hair-samples/take-hair-samples.html

    Oh don't waste your time with this. There's a company that has a see threw Polyurethane cap that Fits 90%. Of all heads. All you have To do is draw. You're outline cut and done. and the fact that it's polyurethane it folds basically into a sheet of paper It's not some rigid piece of plastic but still has the contour of your head.
