I actually love Tina. She makes some dumb decisions but she saves Jamie’s life. Plus she’s hella fun.
Danielle Harris thank you for doing what you could for this movie ❤️
She was annoying AF in this movie.
@@travzimmerman1340 it was still 10000x better than anything anyone else was doing.
@@travzimmerman1340 Um, no, she really wasn't. She's the poster child for childhood trauma. She speaks for us all. Danielle is the princess of the franchise. 🎃
Welcome back Elizabeth.
And Ellie is the queen. Jamie Lee Who?
A Straight Ally here. Best UA-cam couple ever. You both have good chemistry when reacting together. And you both are good at commenting when reacting to movies and shows. Keep it up you two.🏳🌈
You guys think they did Jamie dirty in this movie? Wait until you watch Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.
Tina is actually considered a very annoying character so you guys are not alone 😂😂😂
I believe it's called having ADHD and always wanting attention.. not very annoying when you understand why she was like that. Lol
@@faithandeg12 are we supposed to know she has ADHD though?when is that explained?
What's ADHD?
@@FrazFlub-n1pthere’s this thing called google
Danielle Harris was here with Scout Taylor Compton in Lexington Ky for Scarefest Horror and Paranormal convention. They had their Talk Scary To Me Podcast Live after the Con closed Saturday this past weekend.
It’s sad to hear how Jaime Lee Curtis treated them 😢
Donald Pleasance fought with the director over how Loomis used Jamie as bait. He said Loomis would never do that.
I believe him
So long as Michael was alive, she WAS bait. Loomis merely sought to claim some autonomy over the where and the when...Besides, he had tried the kindly grandfather bit in 4, and where did that get him? It is only natural that he'd be more hard and jaded towards the kid this time around...
I know everyone kinda hates Loomis in this one but I never disliked him in this movie cause all I saw was an old man who had lost his mind trying to kill evil and never could. He went mad and did what he thought he needed to do when he couldn't even think very well anymore.. Very sad.
You have a point
I really love the scene of Dr. Loomis talking to Michael in the house though. “Don’t you remember how much better you used to be?” I feel like that was a really cool personal moment and one of my favorites from the Franchise 🎃. And it was presented like Michael being self-aware that he is Evil or Mentally ill and contemplating it, thinking that he may actually need help, but ultimately giving in to his evil and choosing it. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
I clicked so damn fast, I probably broke my damn thumb. 😂 This isn't my favorite Halloween movie, so many character flaws but it still gave me the chills as a kid. The ending is very impactful like the 4th one.
Nobody on the planet past or present, other than you, has said H5 is good.
It's a cinematic abortion.
As I've gotten older... I've actually came to love Tina lol she reminds me of so many awesome adhd friends is mine
Just watched this movie again yesterday 😅😅
I love this movie
At least these two lovelies didn't hate this movie! This one gets way too much judgement and hate.
I never understood the hate for Tina lol
Same! I think she is totally fun.
I think her introductory scene is the problem. It is grating. But if you get past that, she's much easier to tolerate.
I clicked so fast, I almost time travelled! ❤🧡💛🎃🎃🎃🎃
Just what I needed 🎃🔪 michael came to slayyyy mawma
When she's stuck in the chute, they used a real knife
Rohan Campbell and Danielle Harris are the prince and princess of this franchise!
Yeessss! Thank you for continuing on ❤
Not only did Rachel's parents let her hang out with someone like Tina; they left her ALONE on HALLOWEEN of ALL days! What kind of parents ARE they?!
From Jamie Lee Curtis to Jamie Lloyd: the 🎃Jamies circle 🎃comes to an end! It was quite a ride!
I was absolutely devastated by Rachel's death. She was such a great character in H4. Not only did they kill her WAY too early in this one, but they completely changed her character so they COULD kill her. 🤬 After what she went through in part 4, Rachel would not be acting like that. So ridiculous. Just one of several problems this movie has.
They really should have swiped Tina and Rachel in this one. It would make more sense.
Yes!
Normally no. But Tina got her hooked on drugs. And her parents allowed it!
@@FrazFlub-n1p 😮 Wait. Was that mentioned in the movie? It's been a while since I watched it
@@donhilljr.4890absolutely. If Rachel had Tina's death it would have had a much bigger impact. Sacrificing her own life to save Jamie. As close as they were, that would have been heartbreaking
Happy Harpoween! 😂😅😭😜
Not gonna lie, I'm low key disappointed you're not reacting to Halloween 6. Hopefully we'll get it next year. I have absolutely enjoyed your Halloween reactions 😊
Darn, I was really hoping you'd live for Tina. I liked her bubbliness and what positive energy she brought and she's one of my favorite final girls. Love your reactions!
Rachel should've been the one to sacrifice herself to save jamie and tina should've been stabbed with the scissors
Rachael should have taken Tina's role but be less annoying in this film. Maybe feel a little more weary- but at least have a more dramatic death idk
Honestly... "My Loomis" is the Loomis from h4 and h5.. "You know damn well what... You let them take it out of here" and "Charlie!.. Charlie... Michael.. Myers is out side..... Stay with the three little girl.... PLEASE!?!?"
Major major justice for Rachel 🧡
I am a Tina stan and I’m excited to watch this reaction to see if y’all are too 👏
Just watched 4 last night on my own and had to watch this with you! Danielle Harris was sooo good and believable. Ending of 4 was such a twist😮
Hi guys. The problem I have with this one is I expected Rachel to continue to protect Jamie until the end. Do not like Tina, she is likeable but annoying. Danielle is amazing as Jamie !
Tina ruined that! Curse her!
Watch the theatrical version of 6
This one definitely had the most annoying characters- Tina, Michael the BF, weak Rachael, Billy, Tina, unhinged Dr.Loomis, the deputies, Samantha and Spitz (farm couple), and Tina.
Many have a prob with Tina, but I think see carried the movie well. Awsome reaction as always
They did Rachel D.I.R.T.Y. !!! 😒
Danielle Harris saved the day! After Rachels "way too quick" death, the movie could have easily died along with her but Danielle as Jamie made this movie worth watching.
I hope they're not saying this is a bad movie ! Lol I understand why some ppl don't favor this one but let's face it, all of the Halloween movies have flaws in one way or another and this one is my favorite in the whole franchise because of the Jamie character development. I agree they did Rachel dirty with killing her off so soon, but I always assumed her change in attitude and thought was cause she was trying to ignore the trauma she went through since she met Tina and it got her killed. That change didn't bother me that much. But I feel she needed to die in order for Jamie to face Michael more on her own. I never understood the hate for Tina. Yeah she was dumb but she had a big heart and died for Jamie. I think the biggest flaw was the man in black cause he wasn't needed. The Myers house isn't the same house yes but at least it still fit the vibe of the movie. The movie is very ritualistic and sacrificial. Very fire element. Jamie's dress, getting hurt, the attic scene, how she got him to take his mask off, all of it. I know they filmed with almost no script so it was filled with random ideas but there's too much good in it for it to be a bad movie.
I think it's EASILY among the top 3 in the series.
Tina’s demise should have come earlier in the movie & Rachel should have been the one that sacrificed herself to save Jamie. The filmmakers literally should have swapped their deaths.
Even the actresses playing redo and Jamie don’t really like their character development or lack there of in this movie
I think the cops in scream 4 got their inspiration from the cops in this movie
The man in black was originally meant to be Micheals twin bother until they decided to go another direction with the character in H6.
I think one of this movie’s biggest sins (among many, many others) was that except for Pleasance and Harris , this film felt much more like a throwaway Friday the 13th sequel than a Halloween movie.
You guys touched on it. I’m not saying the body count in other Halloween movies are always deep, interesting characters, but they do usually have some little extra thing about them that makes you enjoy watching them.
These characters have nothing. They are shallow and vapid, and basically just stock Friday the 13th characters in a Halloween movie.
Halloween 6
A lot of the problems you probably have with this movie has to do with the fact that they were filming this movie without a completed script and decided to go "not my problem" regarding the plot holes made by this movie and just let it be the next movie's problem. Even Danielle Harris and Donald Presence didnt like this movie
The plan was to have Jamie be the killer for this movie after having killed her stepmother but Moustappha Akkad (who was the main producer for the franchise until his death after Halloween: Resurrection) didnt wanna let Michael stay dead so he and the director made the writers retcon the ending of the last movie and instead made Jamie mute for half the movie and made Loomis extremely unlikable.
Instead of the old man with the parrot, Michael was originally gonna weakily walk towards the home of a young witch doctor referred to as Dr Death. After Michael dies from his wounds, Dr Death was gonna keep his body and spend the next year doing voodoo on him until Halloween eve when he brands him with the Thorne rune on his arm to resurrect and control him except it doesnt work. The director decided to change it because he wanted Michael's first kill in the movie to be someone more sympathetic. But the Dr Death opening makes more sense than the weird Man In Black crap that bleeds from this into the next movie which they didnt have any answers for when writing (for lack of a better word) the script
Specifically spilled 🫖
There was nothing that necessarily had to be the 'next movie's problem.' Curse could have made all manner of decisions regarding the elements in question, or could have ignored them, altogether. Anything that is considered exotic about this film...the Man in Black, or the Thorn symbol...wind up getting, what, a total of 80 seconds of screentime out of a 90 minute film? Halloween 5 is outstanding precisely BECAUSE it adheres-almost religiously-to the motif that made the original what it was. Everything is about stalking...just as it was back in '78.
Please react to Halloween: Blood Sabbath. It’s a polished version of Halloween 5 that’s on Jay Jones’ UA-cam channel. Jones is the guy who fixed Halloween 5 into a much better movie than the one we’ve got.
not a Glock🤣 and jamie has been through it, but can't wait till you guys watch the rest

I love Tina. She is my favorite. The reason why Tina didn't sense anything from her boyfriend it's because her boyfriend was a jerk anyway so she didn't notice when Michael Myers was in the car it's not that she is dumb she is just used to her idiotic boyfriend acting mean and weird.
That's what makes that scene intense.
@34:29 the 'man in black' sets up for the next Halloween.
Tina gets too much hate.
Rachel IS smarter than that. Sadly she was high in this, thanks to Tina giving her pot.
Oh and I'm still smitten with Danielle Harris. She is such a beautiful great woman.
This one gets a lot of hate but I have so much nostalgia for it that I love it 😂
I just watched the Rob Zombie Halloween movies tonight, and oh my godddddd, Danielle Harris is awesome!
I didn't know there was gonna be a TV series! O_O
I'm sorry, but I've always thought Tina was annoying AF!
I like a positive character, but she was way too over the top.
Yeah, like, did she not know the events of the 4th film? She was way too whimsical for a sequel. The man took out an entire police force and destroyed a power grid, but Dr. Loomis is the crazy one. 👌
❤love you guys so much watch like all ur videos ♡♡♡♡
@23:09 Michael's got six-zero seconds to kill them, or I am gonna do it.
Y’all should have seen the original script it focused on Jamie alright they made her the killer in the original script
Wish we got that movie.
@22:16 Not to correct, but I'd be more worried about what the kittens could catch from her.#thatisall
🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃♥️
Please react to the substance
You should do the producers cut for h6 (my buddy wrote the script!). Weinstein, Paul freeman, and Joe Chappell (the director) were more mid 90s corporate... They producers cut its much better but still flawed (Dan my buddy was a fan but had to write following up after h5)
Pardon my questions on this complicated matter for Halloween6 Curse of Michael Myers will you react to the 1995 theatrical release of the Producer's cut?
I don’t care what anyone says: the 5th one is a fun watch!
I’d love for you guys to react to the Sleepaway Camp franchise!
Omg do NOT watch the producers cut for Halloween 6 . It’s so bad. The theatrical cut is sooo much scarier
Back in the day I was pissed about Rachel's death, now I'm just pissed at how stupid they wrote her. No wonder she died. She was a completely different character than part 4. Danielle Harris carried this movie. And Dr. Loomis?! Omg this was really the "Resurrection" of the Thorn trilogy lmao. Fr Halloween 5 undid the greatness Halloween 4 gave us
Dominique is TRASH!!
If Rachel had been her smart sober self she would NOT have died.
Actually Halloween 5 REDEEMED 4. Halloween 4 made several critical mistakes that 5 came along and corrected. 4 can be more easily enjoyed because of how brilliant 5 was.
Dominique is one TWISTED fiend. He put a child through HELL in this movie! And yet he claimed he loved children and would never abuse them. Bullshit!! This movie is straight up child abuse! It's sick!
If you want a movie that will gag you, watch Homicidal from 1961.
Mi peli favorita de terror ❤❤❤ , saludos desde argentina
I am in complete agreement; there was a good idea at the heart of this movie - Jaime psychically linked to Michael - but the execution fell flat. To this day, I don't understand the decision to send Dr. Loomis' character off the deep end or why the focus shifted to side characters instead of the actual plot. Danielle Harris' performance was a standout and it's a shame the material failed to compliment this.
Dominique was a pervert towards Ellie. He's a creep!
Bullets can’t kill Michael. And he’s seriously a pure psychopath. Dr Loomis said it himself in the first movie….so why does he try to talk to him like he’s gonna get through to him when he couldn’t get through to him EVER, and why beat him with a wooden plank when BULLETS can get the job done? Loomis is out of sorts…or it’s just bad writing 🤦🏼♀️💁🏼♀️
Pleeease react to The Substance!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Not too much on Dr. Loomis!! Respect him
No 🧡
@@PettyPumpkins yes 💚
I think y’all maybe overthought the movie. It’s a slasher flick, just enjoy it for what is. Way more enjoyable that way
Just because it’s a slasher doesn’t mean they can’t write characters who aren’t imbeciles ❤️
@PettyPumpkins crazy how we watch the same movie and have completely different opinions. But guess that makes it interesting. 😊

This is hot shit, movie was made in less then a year, because the rights owner was going to lose the rights by 1990, so he had to pump out another sequel quick for his cash cow. He hired a director who has ONLY directed French comedy movies, so not only has he never done an American movie, he's only done comedies. Debra Hill the GF of John carpenter (the hands that pick up the knife in H78 in the kitchen drawer are her hands) who worked on the first three movies with Carpenter, rec'd the director as a ploy to make the move shit, because her and carpenter wanted to see it all come to an end as they only intended one movie, no sequels.
The clown noises when those two cops showed up was that director's idea, Production members said they had a mask as good as the original, he chose the mask we see with the receding hairline. The Myers house was chosen by him even though it looks nothing like the OG house. He decided Myers should cry lol. The guy wouldn't listen to people who have experiences in horror movie making. Rachel is considered one of the best final girls, he decided to have her act stupid in this, and kill her off so soon. They had two set pieces which would have been awesome but those were cut because they not only ran out of money, but were scared to do one scene. I would explain it more, but this comment is long enough.
Also Jamie was supposed to be the killer in this, they actually killed off Myers in part 4. The right holder started worrying about a kid carrying the film without a Michael in it, got scared, and so they brung back Myers. These cowards just had Jamie have a psychic connection to her uncle.
Whatever the director's previous experience might have been, he crafted the best of the sequels. And certainly the one that most closely adheres to the approach taken in the '78 original.
@@tgriffin3059 You again LMAO, sure busy, sure. Like I've told you before when everyone who worked on the film and was interviewed about it calling it trash, I'll go along with them. Even akkad didn't like it. If you liked it, great, we all like some shitty stuff, movies/tv shows, doesn't mean it's good stuff. The best is Myers stalking people in sunny daylight in the trees before Tina calls for her BF, you can see him from a quarter mile away. That's the spirit of 78 right there.

You come in here tossing out trivia-that EVERYBODY'S HEARD ALREADY-and act like you're saying something profound. Oh, thank you, Mr. Punkem, for telling us ALL about it!!! Hey, maybe you can tell me, was the whole series supposed to be an ANTHOLOGY? Was Carpenter really drunk when he made up the whole 'brother-sister' connection? Was he really planning on sending Michael to OUTER SPACE??? Come on, there's so many things we ordinary fans have been wondering about...
