- Bought my self a bigger boat for my birthday gift card. This boat is just so much fun. We went to Mehamn this weekend and i got together with my best friend Bjørn. And we really got to test out this insane boat. To bad we didn't have more batteries. But i need to order more. More indepth boatvideo will be out after some more testing.

Yeah i really enjoy these boats. Gotta get som faster ones. I guess uograding the esc lets me use 8 cell as well.

Spectrum esc require good quality batteries that don't have much voltage sag...all of your cheap zee lipos and amazon lipos will not suffice and you will get crap runtimes. I switched to gensace 6800 3s 120c lipos and I don't have the crap runtimes or the cutoff kicking in too early.
I use 2-3s 5200mah 120c zee packs.
That’s a “supposedly” 10,400mah and I only get 3-1/2-4mins of run time. Batteries are still hit too.

Hello, i m having problems with mini sonicwke v2 and the retailer says that the problem are the batteries. My batteries are Gens Ace 3s 5000 mha 60c. If you could confirm that the esc is the firma 120a i would bemuch appreciated. Nice video enjoy this awesome boat.

Ok thanks a lot, so Proboat s retailer in Potugal says the problem i have with my sonicwake v2 is due to the batteries, nonsense... and this video you made its the prouve they are making escuses not to solve the real problem.
Hello again, i have seen several reviews and oppinions about the awful delay response especially on the throtle on this spektrum slt 3 transmiter compared with the Dx2 and Dx2e. In your case did you noticed that delay? Thanks
Having seeo and heard so many oppinions about the slt 3 radio transmiter i think i found the culprit of all my problems and the terrible delay in throtle response, so i wonder if in your case you noticed that same delay. Needless to say mine its not defective,from what i heard that slt 3 is crap, and i will swap with a tactic that i have laying around , much better radio.
Well i haven't had any issue with mine but im gonna get the DX5 for this one with telemetry.
Use 2 3 cell batteries In series
I use 6 cell and a jumper. That is what i got for the moment and some big 4 cell.
Just plug in 2 of your 4 cell batteries for 8-cells

@@ArcticRc I think he means that you do opposite corners half way - then the other two corners and then tighten them all - just keeps the canopy squared up so that the seal works all the way round - but not a biggie :)
Biggest issue is that the black rubber grommet that supports the stuffing tube melts (I think they just used the same one that seals the stuffing tube through the hull. Simple fix - replace the black grommet with either silicone tube or I prefer using 4 green O rings (the ones used on car AC systems) - end of the problem. Also make sure that the clamp arrow is pointing forward or it will misalign the tube and shaft.
