I have had them since August last year and I absolutely love them. Design, build quality, and sound quality (really the most important thing with earphones imho) are all excellent. SONY also has done a great job with the app and regular software updates/improvements. Easily one of my favourite gadgets that I have bought in a while.
I will also say that I work out with them, and I have accidentally gotten them somewhat wet a few times (light rain, and dropped in the sink while the tap was on) ...... and I have had zero problems with them.
Awesome review man. I have mine for about 7 months now and im im love with it. I would like to add, to get the full 8 hrs turn off EQ, noise cancelling and DSEE HX. :)
Planning to buy these. I’ll be using these mostly on a Windows 10 laptop. Many reviews have indicated that these are terrible on laptops. Have you tested them with a windows machine?
I’ve only had them for about 5 months, title was a bit misleading I might change it actually haha. I haven’t noticed a difference but in general after a year batteries begin to degrade no matter what the device is.
@@pickyaudio Thanks! I asked because of the battery test you have of the truengine 3 se, can't seem to get more than 6 hours with mine at 50% volume using both buds
@@pickyaudio I'm using huawei p30 pro with aptx on. I guess it makes sense since the p30 pros doesn't have a snapdragon 845 (or up) chipset, so it doesn't take advantage of the TWS plus connection of the truengine 3 se, plus aptX consumes battery. Also I usually listen at 320kbps mp3 files. What device do you use for testing?
Thanks for this good review. I got these buds recently and people that I call say that they can't understand me. Are you experiencing this? Is there any my to improve it?
No worries, I have not had that issue. It could be an issue with your phone but you could check by connecting your earbuds to your phone, open a voice memo or some voice recording app and see how it sounds there first
HIi sir, i saw these earbuds on sales today but not sure should i get it... the only concern is i wanted to use it for running and work out..but it doesnt have Ip rating, may i know hows urs working so far? i mean...a little bit of sweat isnt a big deal right? many many have said these earbud produce super great sound..n I wanted to give it a go.. whats ur feedback about sporting?
Nice video: I think you should try some "Comply TrueGrip Pro Premium Memory Foam" (They do some specifically for these buds)They are a game-changer, it enhances the sound creates a better seal thus enhances the bass a ton. And ofc the Anc. yes, they are pricey but it's a well-deserved price tag. I have now subbed. Greets from the UK.
Hi, I bought them 4 days, they're the first noise cancelling earbuds that I have. Do you think that is a good deal?, because Sony release the SP900N and Sennheiser also have ANC. Hope you can response. For the moment I love the sony, but I need a second opinion. Great channel! Sorry for my english I'm not a native speaker.
Hey thanks for the comment! I think you have made a great decision I know I did when I bought them and I use them pretty much every day. How have you found them then so far?
@@pickyaudio They are really great, I finished your video, and you're right, the nailed it in all on genres of music. Furtherome very nice your comment about Zelda. So, thanks, so far they are a 10/10. You have a great channel, hope you can have more suscribers.
Nice vid man! I don't suppose you tried these in bed? Sometimes I use my airpods which are comfortable on my side. These look a bit chunky so I wondered if they press hard on the pillow. Not that I am exclusively using for that purpose!
Thank you your time for video. I thinking to buy this wf 1000xm3 but expensive. I think the Sony wf xb700 for bass. But still expensive and not enough loud I'm watching some video the soundpeats 3 se better then sony wf xb700 ? Or louder the soundpeats? Or don't mistakes the quality with not expensive quality? All the best.
Honestly I'm intrigued by these, even tho I'm 99% sure they will constantly fall out of my ears. The sp800n look good but I hear the anc isn't as good on them. Maybe will just wait for xm4 earbuds.
I love them! They stay in my ear really well with a deeper fit than most earbuds. I’m also keen on the 800n as well only downside being the ANC and sound quality may not be as good. If there isn’t a huge difference though I’m all for the 800n.
@@bklynrickel funny thing I just got these for my Galaxy buds plus. Even they would fall out or lose seal alot so I must have weird shaped ear holes. The spinfit really did help alot with it.
I personally haven’t used the Elite 75t but going off reviews I’ve watched, the 75t are more compact potentially making them more comfortable. They also have an ip5 rating so are more suitable for working out. They just don’t have noise cancelling but would be pretty comparable to the Sony’s overall. The 75t also have an adjustable EQ in the app which is great. I’m not sure if they would sound as good as the Sony’s but they would be pretty close 😊
@@pickyaudio I hope you can do a detail review of the Jabra Elite 75T also in near future. After that, make the comparison between both Sony and Jabra. I really like your video review, very detail and informative.

Don’t suppose yours have left and right audio, I’m concerned they don’t have left right audio unless your using tidal or whatever for that 360 audio thing, but whatever the case any idea how I can get left and right audio , there’s no differentiation between them they play the same thing thru both ?
Hmm Interesting... I don’t use tidal or 360 audio but just to clarify when you are using both earbuds, you aren’t getting left or right channels just mono in both?
those are a stereo then you will get left and right audio channels...those are not monos....same thing for tidal on 360°audio.... I can clearly hear a difference when I put my phone on mono too
I have not tested the sp 800n yet but the pros of the sp800 would be the ip55 rating and more secure fit for working out. Sound and ANC may not be as solid as the Wf 1000xm3 but it depends if you will utilise the fit and ip55 rating of the sp 800
@@pickyaudio Sony went out of stock here in Argentina. They sell them at the same price as the 1000mx3. Sony extra bass is heavy though. I heavily equalize my 900n without getting the sound I want (you should do a video on euqalizing!)
These headphones are terrible, TERRIBLE! Sony uses a dynamic bass compressor to deliver very deep but controlled bass. However, compression only works with some headroom. In other words, at 70% volume, the bass is already maxed out. Above 70% volume, the bass cannot get any louder. But it gets worse: above 70% volume the bass gets _reduced_ and only the mids and highs increase. So yes, if you never ever listen to music above "party volume", the WF-1000XM3 deliver incredible sound. If you yearn for a "disco experience", stay away from Sony! Wouldn't surprise me if the WF-1000XM4 had the same flaw.
