Burren habitats

The Burren looks beautiful in early June when the grasslands are adorned with flora, butterflies and hums with the sound of the myriad of insect life that teems here: 130 of 180 hoverflies in Ireland call the Burren home. It is the best region for butterflies, moths and dragonflies, both for species range and population abundance. This footage offers a hint of the richness of the region.
