- This is the lightest watch that I own and it is still packed with all the features I want in a survival type wrist watch. This is one watch that I will never get rid of.

Iv accepted you say that you can't do that anymore because of your stroke.
When I see a video from you hyped but once I see it's another watch or guitar video, I'm like ah man because I typically don't watch those videos

As much as I hate to say it, you may be better off not subbed to this channel then. And it kills me to even say that. But I'm not going to string you along.
I need ideas for specific items/apps. I can't purchase phones any more and I will not flash custom roms or unlock bootloaders.

This watch is pretty interesting. In the last decade, Casio had released a series of budget watches with Sigle and dual sensor technology and they had SGW in their name. I remember I was following the SGW-300h and the analog-digital SGW-400h, both with barometer-thermometer. This one sits on top of that line with triple sensors.
Interesting fact, I compared the module manuals of this watch and the expensive Protrek PRW-2500 triple sensor with tough solar+6 band atomic correction. the SGW-1000's altimeter has a precision of 1 meter whereas the one in PRW-2500 has precision of 5 metres. I'm not sure though if the SGW-1000 has the version 3 triple sensor technology.
I'm going to review a dual sensor Casio watch that only costs $45.00.. It's a really nice watch for that kind of money. By dual sensor, I mean compass and thermometer...

No, it's actually the SGW-100-(3avcf to be exact). I've been wearing it now for about a month and love it. It's very light and has everything I want.

I have that particular watch that you're reviewing and I have to say I love it I also have the other one which is a sgw-100 which is a good watch to no they are not classed as G-Shock they are classed as the Casio Illuminator which are very good too the one you have there is the castle Eliminator sgw 1000 which is a phenomenal watch

Thank you for the clarification. Yes, I call any Casio watch that's got a rubber band and plastic case a G-shock, and I shouldn't. The thing is, they make them so reliable that they are all in that category to me. I will be more efficient when grouping them in future videos. Thanks much for the comment and the info. Yes, this brand is my all time favorite watch brand.

Yes it is. But like I said in the video, it's how light it is that I love the most. You forget it's even on your wrist.
This is actually exactly the same as the PRG-300 ProTrek minus the solar charging feature.
If it only had the solar charger... I have to replace the battery in it. It just went dead about a month ago.
