Great video, thanks. Do you think I can apply this onto a wall where I have removed the wall paper.? Can I apply this using a roller and then use an edge (with rubber) to smooth it off? Thanks
I've just tried at lightly skimming a wall after peeling the woodchip paper pulled out loose bits of plaster. Need to sand it more, still a bit chalky, but looking to paint it.
We've used loads of this stuff, no issues, if the hole is big just part fill then do the rest later otherwise it will pull it out but you probably know that already, thanks!
I've used gyproc easi-filler in the past and found it very good but when I bought gyproc easi-fill 60 I thought it's rubbish compared to gyproc easi-filler.
this stuff is rubbish - I mean it does what it says on the tin, and when set hard though, you can poke a knife or something into it and it just comes away. ...

Thanks for admitting this is a DIY video. Super thumbs up pal. Now it's worth watching
Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up on this! It looks like just what I'm after.

you can pva the filler before painting to seal it otherwise it can take up too much moisture of the paint.
@@DanielJohnHowTo sorry, do you mean pva the skimmed wall before painting?
Good video I got some of this stuff from b&q earlier and this is just the video I need for my project tomorrow
Glad I could help
Just purchased the the 5kg box from homebase. Need to fill in a load of holes left behind from the coving being removed. I hope it works well.

Thanks for this. Can you paint straight on after sanding?
You want to seal it with some pva first though.
If you don't prime it first , you'll end up with flashing
Don’t apply pva.. prime it.. watered down first coat
Plasterboard adhesive is a great all-round interior filler, great for patching and fine fill.
Great tip!
@@DanielJohnHowTo until you need to sand it back.
Hard as stone bud.
Easyfill all day long.
Will this be ok to use on my kitchen ceiling for a repair?
yes, but you may also need some fine filler
Nice one 👍
Hey, do you use any primer at all? PVa etc?
They dont seem to have used any but id recommend it if its a wide area, i fill my chases in as a sparky but i dont use pva for some small jobs
I have about half a bucket of Easifill leftover. Is there any way I keep this fresh for a few days? Thanks.
try and seal it up really well and store in a cold place?
How to prepare wall before using easy fill 60? Please any pva ?
you can pva it
