5500 Gallon Koi Pond - Had bacterial issues - Nexus 220 + Bead

We have been supplying Koi to this pond for many years with very few issues. We have upgraded the filter over the last few years and added a few new Koi each year. This year there was a bad break out of flukes which led onto other issues. Thankfully now all sorted but it will show you what can happen.
The pond is ran on a Nexus 220 via a bottom drain, then the skimmer runs into a 24" K1 Micro bead filter.

Hi @TimWaddington, On this video, for the bacterial issues, you mentioned that you treated with ChloramineT with high does of salt. I have bact issues and my water PH is 8.5. What % of salt i should have, and also standard does of ChloramineT?

Lovely pond and fish . As you said , many people have struggled with parasites this year . Are parasites getting more resistant to treatments ?Can you give details of what you treated them with and how to deal with bacterial infections . Thanks.

I had flukes this year to heavy case i treated with fmg and then pottasium , then 2 treatments of flukesol bloody things

Quick question, I’m about to begin my build and I’m installing a spindrifter gravity fed bottom drain to an easy pod, am I better off cementing the pipe work in place or is there another way you’d recommend?
