I have been purging and reorganizing my sewing room. I bought a hutch with drawers and doors. So now I want to buy something for the side of my sewing machine area to replace the 3 plastic drawer area. Works well but I will upgrade something else. Thank you doing this video. It gives me more ideas. You rock!

Kim you could purchase a small "dolly" from one of the big box hardware stores to fit under the Alex unit. The "dolly"will raise the unit up a bit but also allow you to move it around as needed in your studio. Happy quilting.

I added wheels to my Alex with the file drawer. Ordered “L-shaped casters” from Amazon that screw through the sides of the cabinet. Unable to attach a picture but they have a 125 lb weight limit and have worked well.

You see most of it in my UA-cam videos - I have another area with a longarm in it but it's difficult to film in that area due to how our cameras and lights are set up.

Go to harbor freight and buy their small dolly. The cabinet can be placed on top and you can roll it around.

Build a wooden 'tray' that your unit will fit on top of and put casters on that.

why not set the drawer unit on a plant holder with wheels?

Could you put the cabinet on a piece of plywood or melamine and put the wheels on that?
