I've had my GoPro 7 (Silver) for several months but have only ran a couple of videos from my motorcycle. I had been having issues with it telling me that my disk was full, which I knew that it wasn't. I Have A Question Daniel, Should I Update a NEW Gopro Hero 7 I got from Amazon? Suppose It Turns out to Be a Bad/Damaged Camera after I Update It, and I Have To Return It, Even Tho, I Have registered the serial number to my gopro account? You Think It would be ok? Also Do I Need to format the micro card *before* I Install the update to it? Or Can I Just Reformat the micro card after the update is installed to the gopro hero 7 black?

I have jist charged and turned my hero 7 silver go pro on and all instructions are in a different language. I have searched how to change this and instructions say to swipe down screen to connect the camera to the go pro app...but can I click on the correct parts if I cant understand what they say? am tearing my hair out here!

Although I am struggling to understand the gentleman here, he offers the best tutorial I have been able to find. At 70 years on this old earth, I just don't need added frustrations.🧐 Be safe!!

I'm getting the "found your camera" screen. 28:00 but when I click the "Connect Camera" button, it won't connect. I don't get the Bluetooth pairing request popup screen. It just says "We Can't Connect to Your GoPro" and "Something went wrong".

You're going to fast on you're explanation. my camera connected but what the camera sees my cell screen it doesn't see. Then somehow the app on the cell camera disconnects me from my wifi. Omg I haven't seen no tutorial that can help me. I'm returning this horrible non user friendly back to the store. Technology failed me or a failed technology. No one can help me. I spent 3 hrs and I havent got anywhere

i agree with you, I've spent days playing with this thing and it still won't simply record a video
One would think that recording would be the one thing it did for you right out of the box, I'm using this thing for a purpose I really don't want to go to photography school to make it work
Billy Stray I read online a while back that some go pro’s came new in the box needing a software update. Once updated they work great. Might be your problem not sure.
