That was so natural and great to watch. BEST unboxing video of Australian stuff EVER! You were all so real - nothing forced or staged - loved it!! Thank you all.
Spread it very, very sparsely. Aussie kids are raised on it, and we probably thought it was disgusting as babies but just got used to it. Vegemite or peanut butter sandwiches were mainstays for school lunches way back before you were born. Lol.
when my son was a baby i cooked him mashed mixed vegies ( potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrots... etc ) and then mixed a quarter teaspoon of vegemite in the mix vegies and mixed it well. he loved it.
Hello Brittany nice to meet you. Come bring your beautiful family and visit Australia. Would be happy to host you all. I’m a school teacher and love relaxing in the afternoons by watching Ryan’s videos. His pronunciation of Australian words is terrible/hilarious!!
The jar of Vegemite is small to remind you to just use sparingly !😂 it’s great with cheese on a sandwich. It’s an acquired taste. Also can be used in casseroles soups ect as a flavouring ( has B vitamins in it)

Ryan, I've been eating Vegemite for 76.8 years, there's really no hard and fast rule on the thickness of Vegemite on toast, it's really just a matter of taste, what your taste buds like. Our love of V comes from being most likely the first taste introduced to us as babies when first eating solids, usually a thin scrapping on buttered toast. I love V so definitely put it on probably thicker than what most comments here say......for me bread as well which must only be white bread, butter must be spread corner to corner with a good amount of Vegemite. Cheese and V was a standard filling in my school lunch and I still eat it today especially if the bread is fresh.....also Tomato & V, Lettuce & V, Avocado & V on toast. Just recently a limited edition of Vegemite packaging was introduced with different names: Bolognese, Nachos, Pizza, Stir Fry, Pho and Barty Parmy, the last one refers to Ash Barty, our women's world No.1 tennis player who recently retired at age 25 and is Vegemite's brand ambassador. It's funny even though I love Vegemite I've never had it on anything other than on bread/toast. I use small scissors using pointy end to open packages. Loved watching your excitement opening the first package, brought back such wonderful memories watching my children then my grandchildren opening their Chrissy pressies on Christmas morning. Ryan Jnr is growing fast, is he sleeping through the night yet? You have a beautiful family so cherish them always. Take care.
That was a lot of fun🥰. Lovely to see Jace, Brittany and Tyler. Such naturals on camera, you did great for your first live👌. Lovely outfit on Jace, a mini Steve Irwin 😅👍. Australia Post are the worst🤦🏼♀️. From Tasmania 💝

I missed the live but loved watching the replay. I scrape my vegemite on slightly cooled toast first and then put the cold butter on top. Sry I missed the live stream Ryan n lovely family, hope to make the next one, glad U guys enjoyed our delicious Aussie (Ozzy) quizine (junk food) haha :))
Loved this. Chaotic but fun! Nice to see your family too. Your son is adorable. And Hi to your lovely wife and brother👋🙂. Glad you liked the snacks. Aussies are generous people. Aside from the 3 Shapes flavours you tried, there's also vegetmite and cheese, nacho cheese, cheddar cheese, cheese and bacon, chicken crimpy, fried chicken , garlic bread etc. There's also Shapes mini bites in various flavours and the new "fully loaded" shapes in different flavours. So many bloody shapes! We have a lot of chicken flavour profiles and Asian fusion profiles. It's a big part of our cuisine and food culture given our proximity to Asia and the percentage of people from Asian countries that live here. You'll find a lot of amazing Asian restaurants here from so many countries. The amount of vegetmite you used was perfect, though it's down to individual tatse, some like more. Vegemite is also great with a slice of cheese on top of the vegetmite and butter toast. Also great on a grilled cheese toast or toasted cheese and Vegemite sandwich. What we call a toastie here. It's also great wirh egg. If you pop a poached or fried egg on top of the Vegemite toast. Or on smashed avocado toast. Just add mashed avocado on top and a little salt and pepper on top of the avocado. People also use it as a marinade for their barbecued meats.
Watching from the UK. Lovely family, Love Aussies & liked the look of every delicious treat you sampled!!!! Great to see Tyler too! I'm hoping you share your PO Box with UK/ Germany too, we'll inundate you all with treats too!! 😀❤

What a gorgeous family you are! So blessed! ♥️Jace is such a cutie & Brittany is beautiful. I enjoyed the unboxing because you are both so natural. I used to cut about an inch wide strip off the crust/heel of a loaf of bread 🍞 butter it, then put a very sparse layer of Vegemite on it for my babies to suck on when they were teething, but not before about 8 months old. They loved it because I think the salt helped soothe the gums. I wouldn't leave them alone with it because it got quite soggy & you don't want a child to choke. Awareness is the key 🤣 Love from Adelaide, South Australia 🇭🇲
Sorry I missed the live chat, but great to see your lovely family. Little Jace has grown and he is gorgeous , he must bring you such joy. Hi to Brittany, nice to see your "Better Half" Ryan!!!! I'm from Melbourne

Hi Ryan and Family from Brisbane, Queensland, AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 Just like the US (we have a few time zones 😆) a suggestion for next time pre cut the tape 😉 then they're easier to open 😉
that was fun! no-one mentioned bush tucker! we have some amazing ingredients here.... wattle seed which when roasted is reminiscent of coffee/mocha. strawberry gum, mountain pepper, hibiscus flower..... something that is really interesting is that our indigenous people are the only on earth that didn't make alcohol. because nothing native here has sugar so it wasn't possible. that's why it has caused so many problems, every other culture had a history and bodies acclimatised to the use of alcohol. i understand some hellucinagenics were used during ceremonies but never alcohol. if you're interested in bush tucker, I'll happily send you some, but most you will have to use in a recipe which I will happily supply. the jellied hibiscus flowers are used world wide, sitting at the bottom of a champagne flute. their jelly consistency is delicious.
What an excellent unboxing, You guys were so much fun and Jace is so adorable. I'm not sure how Ryan got through all that without a drink, I couldn't have done that.
I can't with how much you all love Australia haha and how much us Aussie's love how much you love Australia haha so good. Much love from Newcastle, NSW. Hope you all get to travel down soon! Keep up the good work :)
Lol.. this unboxing was like little kids on Xmas day. Stuff everywhere. But it was fun to watch. Loved having Brit and Jace involved and LoL, great to have Tyler visit but was being far too serious for an Aussie reveal. We're a layback bunch as you know.
@@marisaevancoe9837 yes lol. Wasn't being critical of him. Just funny. Ryan was straight in, trusting and wanting to try it all.. Tyler wanting to read and check labels in case we Aussies were pranking. Hahahaha. But it was actually a funny live. No structure. Go with the flow... And was blown away by the 1.4k viewers live.. good effort for a first!
I’m sorry I missed this live! But it was a lovely video and you all crack me up with your pronunciation of Aussie words. I just hope there’s some ‘milo’ in some upcoming packages. Happy arvo 😊
Someone send them a Violet Crumble and Crunchie! Our American friends always love these as they don't have anything similar apparently. Another American friend loves Uncle Toby's muesli bars, lol.
Start feeding the baby Vegemite now - he'll love it for life. It's good lightly spread on teething rusks, dry biscuits, toast etc. When you eat it straight from the jar you're almost as an Aussie.
A very popular meal for aussi babies when switching from milk to solids is a mixed bowl of veggies with a teaspoon of vegemite mixed in. Works well with mash potatoes.
Also, propper tea is Earl Grey, English Breakfast, or some of the other darker teas. So Pickwick, PG Tips, Yorkshire Tea or Tetleys would br the choice of most people i think... I have most of them in my household at any time here in Denamrk. Brittish through and through even after 52 years in Denmark.
I eat Vegemite straight from the jar while I’m waiting for the toast to toast but I’ve been having it all my life. Not sure if I’d recommend a newcomer trying that 😂 you don’t need toast I had Vegemite sandwiches every single day of my school life for lunch.
5:30 South Australia and the Northern Territory are in the Australian Central Standard time zone which is 30 min behind AEST, and then daylight savings comes in weirdly because SA follows it and NT does not
Couldn't watch it all live but caught the rest later 👏 Tim Tams ... the slam, is: Bite off small pieces of opposite diagonal corners ... dunk it into your coffee/hot chocolate for a few seconds then using as a straw suck up a bit of your drink and quickly slip it all into your mouth as soon as you taste the drink It's an art worth learning, very rewarding🙂
Cadbury is a British company and the chocolate in Australia is the same however American Cadbury products are very different and don't taste as good. Here we have a Penguin biscuit which is equivalent to the TimTams...instead of a Timtam slam we call it a dirty penguin, you bite off one corner, dip it in hot tea and suck the filling, quickly slamming it into your mouth as it disintegrates...delicious! A cookie and biscuit differ as a cookie is softer and baked once but a biscuit literally means twice baked making it harder and snappable..perfect for dunking. We drink black tea/English tea. Beautiful wife and family was lovely to see them today. 😊 🇬🇧
Our chocolate is different in that it doesn't melt as fast as it does in other places, due to our warmer weather. We also like it milker for some reason.
Aaww you’ve gotten stuff too. I love being Australian, so proud of how generous my people are. 🇦🇺
Im with you there our people are amazing for sharing and welcoming people.. even from a far.. i bought a tourist a pie n we been mates ever since..

Hi I’m Michael nice meeting you’ wish I could watch you smile endlessly 😊@ lisa
You’re all gorgeous. I hope you received the socks and koala chocolates from Sydney 😊
What an excellent unboxing, You guys were so much fun and Jace is so adorable. I'm not sure how Ryan got through all that without a drink, I couldn't have done that.
Hahahaha good point omg 🤣
I can't with how much you all love Australia haha and how much us Aussie's love how much you love Australia haha so good. Much love from Newcastle, NSW. Hope you all get to travel down soon! Keep up the good work :)
Super cute fam!
Jayce is so cute in that outfit. Hello from Morisset near Newcastle
Sorry to miss this but lovely to see you all on the video.
Lol.. this unboxing was like little kids on Xmas day. Stuff everywhere. But it was fun to watch. Loved having Brit and Jace involved and LoL, great to have Tyler visit but was being far too serious for an Aussie reveal. We're a layback bunch as you know.
That's why Ty does Canada lol. Actually he's quite funny in person!
Sorry I missed your live! It was lovely to meet your family! I hope you get to come here, it really is the best place on Earth. Kisses from Sydney xxx
I’m sorry I missed this live! But it was a lovely video and you all crack me up with your pronunciation of Aussie words. I just hope there’s some ‘milo’ in some upcoming packages. Happy arvo 😊
Hi I’m Michael nice meeting you’ wish I could watch you smile endlessly 😊
Someone send them a Violet Crumble and Crunchie!
Our American friends always love these as they don't have anything similar apparently.
Another American friend loves Uncle Toby's muesli bars, lol.
hmm that makes me wonder, do they have weet-bix?
They did get a Violet Crumble at 1.07
@@mehere8038 lol
They do have something similar in the US, I remember having it years ago. Not as good as AU weetbix tho.
That was so so much fun to watch!!
Love from Brisbane! 🦘
Vegemite is made from yeast. I used to put it on my babies rusks. At first it’s a surprise but afterwards they get used to it, and love it.
Beautiful family Ryan.
Lovely to see your family!
I eat Vegemite straight from the jar while I’m waiting for the toast to toast but I’ve been having it all my life. Not sure if I’d recommend a newcomer trying that 😂 you don’t need toast I had Vegemite sandwiches every single day of my school life for lunch.
5:30 South Australia and the Northern Territory are in the Australian Central Standard time zone which is 30 min behind AEST, and then daylight savings comes in weirdly because SA follows it and NT does not
Tyler... we drink black tea mostly, although pepermint tea, green tea, camomile are all faves.
Couldn't watch it all live but caught the rest later 👏
Tim Tams ... the slam, is:
Bite off small pieces of opposite diagonal corners ... dunk it into your coffee/hot chocolate for a few seconds then using as a straw suck up a bit of your drink and quickly slip it all into your mouth as soon as you taste the drink
It's an art worth learning, very rewarding🙂
G'day Wazza, I'm from Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. I'm on holiday freezing in Melbourne. Love your family.. Thanks for the show
