Twin Tecnam P2006T No Flaps Takeoff... Flow Check Review (MEI Training)

- We skipped the pre-takeoff check and got some experience with a no flaps takeoff. I like a quick top to bottom flow check and I do it all the time while teaching in the Tecnam it's fast and simple. Flaps are not required for take-off but if they are not used a higher speed should be obtained before rotation and climb out. # CPTC #TECNAM #P2006T ~

"Thumbs Up" If you like the Videos ! helps my channel grow ! thanks !
Just found your channel and subscribed with a like.👍 I have always had an interest in the Tecnam P-2006T since its introduction. Really thinking I would like to obtain my twin, instrument and commercial ratings in the P-2006T. Main reasons: the utilization of yokes (dual side-stick would have also been fine), the roominess, modern appearance, and from what I have viewed on UA-cam, great 1 operational engine handling characteristics. Thanks for the video. Happy/Safe Flying!👍🇺🇸✈️
(without having to refer to FAA regulations, was wondering if the P-2006T qualifies for obtaining a complex rating)? Look forward to reply.
The P2006t counts for complex time and is a great way to get your 10 hours complex time. Now that you don’t need a complex for the commercial check-ride.
It’s a great training aircraft and would be a great overall aircraft if it had a higher useful load and was a little more robust. It’s hard to go back to flying a Cessna 172 after getting used to the cool features in Tecnam.
I would've imagined that ME student knows how to make coordinated turn.
Lol nope, we all get into student mode... and need more rudder.
I meant 15 inchs for throttle ... this was introducing a short field landing

What he said !
Confirm the gear operating speed please? :D
122 KTS
Not 92 like the old manuals say.
WTF no flaps and you didn't know before T.O.
The Tecnam has a flip up to take out all flaps and hold down to put in flap switch.
( sort of like an early era Cessna )
The flap switch is a weak point in my opinion.
This was an MEI student and I make them all deal with one no flap takeoff at some point ( I try to surprise them). It’s not uncommon to have students put in flaps and then accidentally take them right back out with the switch set in the up position. The Tecnam is fine taking off without flaps but it has a totally different feel and is a lame duck if you try to rotate at the normal rotation speed.
Tt Tt!
Too busy talking.
This flight was with an MEI student and we do a lot of talking during training.
I do encourage students to take charge and ask for sterile cockpit if they need to though.
The quite videos are really boring so they end up in the recycle bin.
