i don’t know why, but i feel like the halogens suit this car better than the led, it’s more authentic, and i honestly think it’s a little better looking. Of course i’d prefer led headlights nowadays… but for this car, i mean i don’t know, that’s how i feel ;)
I got a pair of LEDs from the Philips importer for my 996 ( a car known of its really bad lights). I measured the light power with light meter. No change (as the law requires). However, going for a night drive I could immediately tell that the LEDs are better and the reason is the better, more white whitebalance. That is, the specrum is more suitable for human eyes. There is visibly more contrast driving in the dark even though the lightmeter gave exactly the same f-stops. There is now a strong lobbying going on for to get the aftermarket LEDs acceptable in the EU. My opinion is that they should be allowed. They make the driving better and the oncoming lights have gone so bright anyway in the new cars despite them having “intelligent” lights. I also compared the halogens and the LEDs straight into my eyes and there is a slight difference but I think the pros overdo the cons clearly.

if you're a 911 fan there's no debate. But its the NA flat six that is desirable. A Carrera is all you need and sounds great with sport cats. Good luck

I recently bought a 95' 993 I do plan to keep for a lot time. 60k miles, coupe, reasonablity priced and no leak whatsoevery. But, it's an auto. I am totally ok with it but I am tempting to convert it to manual. I was told around 10-12k, is it worth the money?

Instead of replacing the panels with the rips, why don’t you call in a fabric/ leather automotive repair guy......in Canada we have a company called “invisible touch” I’m sure in the US you have options your dealer can recommend, cheap and effective repair
Are you sure those are LEDs? They look like HIDs to me. But either one, they're a vast improvement over halogens. Now you just have to replace the halogen dash lights to white LEDs. You'll be amazed how this minor change makes the dash look modern at night.
hey Nick when can we get the PDK scratch your V shirt you are wearing, it is not on your site. Also the kit you bought is actually an HID kit not LED.. Bergville says they rather use HIDs on the 993's low beams instead of LEDs. Great video and enjoy it as always!!
6:37 are you sure that you are installing leds? Those are HID lightbulbs and not leds, I don’t actually mind that since I prefer HID to LED conversion.

BORING 😜 … As far as pricing is concerned for used cars, in fact ANY used car … they shooting up 🆙 in value here in Europe/Germany too… New cars are just not as easy available as before … production lines are still too long … some parts are still missing … takes ages for a new car to arrive … just like in the eighties 😜👍☺️
