I just bought this knife, for the price it is very good. It high quantity enough for serious use, but due to its relatively low price, not afraid to use it.
I saw these about a month ago and there were no UA-cam videos on it. I wanted to wait for someone else to discover these and do a review on them. Thanks for the review. Now I might actually buy one.
This is one of the best channels on youtube. Seems like a good knife. I like the pommel, don't quite understand the cutout on the scales by the spine though. I'm spoiled, I already have an old RTAK-II, BK9, Hudson bay, ect. I've been watching for a while. 😄
I have one and did a hard wood chopping test and was impressed. The handle is a little boxy for my taste but all and all, its a smart bye. The thing is a tank.
I'm not a fan of wood handles on knives. They shrink and swell with the humidity. And they are easy to damage. But you're getting a leather sheath, which is almost unheard of in this price range and the Fire steel looks pretty substantial. Replacing those scales with micarta would be pretty easy.
You always find the Gems. I'm really interested in DC53 steel. On paper it seems amazing. The polar 2 is a fine looking knife. Id get some kydex. But for the price its impossible to beat. Im trying to wait for eafengrow 149 i love the blade shape just don't know when its going on sale. Always good to see your videos. Hope the comments help brother.
I just ordered the TIGER SHARK!! I really like the DC53 STEEL have a few in the efengro line and it keeps an excellent edge! The TIGER comes with a nice fiberglass or kydex sheath with Teklok for belt carry. I'll do a review 💯💥🔥and for 60bucks why not!!!
My old lady just ordered me one as an early christmas present might be my heavy use knife to keep all my drawer queens nice. I want to put some micarta scales on it.
For walking, the cold is better. It's easier to breathe. You don't get overheated. This looks like a practical knife to buy because of the price and blade steel. I don't really want a wooden handle but for the money it looks like a good deal.
This knife has all the markings of those Chinese made knives you can also find on A-E, the DC53 steel, the etchings on the blade and square cut outs on the spine. You do get a lot of bang for the money. :)
I think about 40% of viewers are outside the US and can't access a Kabar anyway, or it would be twice the price for them, so something like this will always become popular.

I just found your channel, subbed and am always happy to see a new knife channel. Hahhaaa I ordered a Trivia Lacerta ,a budget karambit folder ,and am eyeing the clinch pick now
The problem with KaBar's is I never want to use them, or beat them up. I got the Jarosz Choppa and Bk5, neither of which are made anymore so I really don't want to use them now. Might grab one of these, I won't feel bad about putting heavy use on it,
Dude, I like EVERYTHING about this knife, Even though that last log didn't appreciate being bothered, this thing blasted away. Also, the sheath is perfect. Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother ⚔👍✝🇺🇸
I bought this knive on the 10 of this month after seeing your review , I was thinking of buying the Eafengrow 141 or the Eafengrow 146 but this Ba kor polar II is in my opinion better than the Eafengrow for batoning and chopping , it impressed me a lot seeing you batoning that big and hard block of wood , to be honest that was the reason I bought one (. Finally I find a knive for the end of the world scenario). Great job , and I want to thank you for doing all those great reviews one comment , I too don't like the heat climate , if I did I would go back to Cuba ( I love the cold weather ) bye for now my UA-cam friend 😃👍
Good review as usual. I really wanted the Tiger Shark but delivery was 40 days out. Got the polar instead. Looks like a good value for the money although I doubt if it will surpass by BK9. However I would love the leather sheath for the BK9.
Same here, I never buy them until they are in-country, the Tiger Shark II has arrived, it will probably sell out though, once the Polar II is sold out.
Thank you for a great review and the links , unfortunately as of today ,Sunday November 11 2024,at Amazon they say delivery will take until mid December on this knife and the other chopper you showed ,they do have another, different knife with micarta grips available for next day delivery,a smaller hunting type that I'm going to order today 👍🔪
I like the Bakor. It looks mega-sturdy. It took me hours of hand sharpening D2 steel to get a fancy edge, so, that steel will be even harder to dull and sharpen. Lol Try using the side of the blade as a hammer to pound in tent stakes.. Test the Mini Kabar.. great little copy of its Mama. Size is just right for youth, scouts, and plenty of knife for adults..

Speaking of Ka-Bar, i have been looking high and low for the small kabar large heavy bowie, seems they didnt make it in as many numbers as the larger version.
Since you already did a couple Eafengrows, are you gonna take a look at the Eafengrow EF148? A tad shorter and lighter, same price range, Aus-10 with contoured G10 scales (probably more comfortable than that wood handle). Would be interesting to see how these compare.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Oh boy, I just looked that one up and while the Polar II and the EF148 are already quite chonky at 6mm each, the EF146 is an 8mm tank. Wonder how it handles at that thickness (and weight). Looking forward to the review(s).

I have a lot of room for new knives to add to my collection and i always keep room for new ones. i absolutely adore when people give me knives that they don’t use anymore or want someone else to enjoy. Honesty I wish I was able to be a knife reviewer but i honestly would never have the money to start that kind of thing and it takes forever and a lot of time to become popular and then have companies not ask for money to review knives. i don’t see it worthwhile trying in a sense because of my personal situation. But that’s just me i am happy for anyone who is able and popular enough to make it happen of course.

At what length does a knife become a sword?
Short sword at around 15 or 16 inches I think. Before that, it would be large dagger or tanto.
