Welcome to Family Freedom!
We are Katie, Bob and JoJo (11), a family of 3 sharing our van life with you! We also have 2 older kids - Sam (24) and Jamie (22), and their respective partners Emily and Aden, and Jamie's daughter - our granddaughter Astrid!
The 3 of us are vegan, and are a traveling family and we love sharing with you our van life adventures, and how we try and live as eco friendly and off grid as possible, in the fun that is van life uk 2021 for a van life family!

Hey, thanks for your feedback, that's so good to hear! We did the same before coming (watching videos and reading reviews) but didn't find anything completely detailed, and so wanted to create something for others like yourself!

Also, we'd advise that you go to their team meeting at 9:45am on your first morning as that's where guest services give you all of the resort information you might need 👍

My daughter and family are on vacation in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I don't really get it, because they live in Florida with tons of beaches. Oh well, lol. Now Barbados; that's a vacation!

I’m on my own as well so am a bit nervous 😊but it seems there’s no need everyone is friendly xx

Last summer our family went to Aruba and stayed in a very similar resort. We had such an amazing time. This fall we will be cruising the southern Caribbean and have a stop in Barbados.

He's at the stage where he wants to learn and since turning 1 (even before that) loves to be independent. He's so friendly with other children in the playground always running to them to play with them but they run away bless. He's so cheeky but well behaved. I just love him and can't imagine my life without him 💙 this heart colour is also my favourite colour 💙

Completely agree with bobby & Katy. I’ve been 4 times and I can say that the bajans are 1 of the most friendly and welcoming people on the planet. I would thoroughly recommend Barbados to anyone. I hope to go back their when I’m better off financially, hopefully that won’t be too far away.

That sounds lovely, we hope you enjoy your holiday in Jamaica and we would definitely recommend The Sea Breeze Barbados for 2025! We stayed in a two bedroom suite which we would highly recommend, they are at the sides of the main building and have a beautiful view of the sea. I would say ask if you can have a room that is higher up as we were in a lower room and could hear the main AC system coming on in the night, so we asked to be moved and they were very happy to move us. We don't have another code but if you contact Polly hopefully she will be happy to give you a good deal. Tell her we sent you! Have a wonderful holiday 💚

They have some fantastic vegan options here, more than we thought there would be. The head chef has been very accommodating 👌 We hope to do a what we eat in a day video while we're here 💚🌱

Hope the local cuisine has plenty of vegan choices and the local stores carry lots of vegan choices. I bet you are all missing the British weather, has been great before you left so when you get back bring us some sunshine please🌞
We weren't sure before we got here what the vegan options would be like but we have been pleasantly surprised, there have been so many options for us, we even had a lovely chat with the head chef at our resort, and he said he could do anything we wanted 🙏🌱 We'll bring the sunshine home with us ☀️🌤️☀️
