This was INSANELY helpful. I did not know what to do with metal art, but knew I need to be in it. Thank you for this.
You’re welcome Carla! Glad you liked it :) ready for Q4?
@@RonnieMcKenzie YES!! Well, almost. Found a great VA. Trying to find a good designer for some of my ideas that are beyond my talent. But yeah, I'm ready!!!!
@@carlasidhom5785 so good! That makes me happy to see you’re hiring. Very important step!
@@carlasidhom5785 Hey Carla. May I know how has your hiring experience been when hiring good graphic designers for metal wall art? Do you use upwork or Fiverr to hire designers?
Thanks Ronnie. I've been working on metal signs for a couple of months and only just found you. Your information is amazing, thank you. The problem I have is I'm in the UK, and all of the POD suppliers of steel signs only ship to the US. Printdoors only do one colour - black, although they do ship to the UK I think this leaves me unable to compete with some sellers who somehow are shipping to the UK. Do you have any info on decent POD producers of the steel sign who will ship to the UK?
Zoncraft is shipping in eu I believe.
@@RonnieMcKenzie Thanks for replying. UK brexit nonsense is messing with shipping to here though. I'll contact them to check it though because their shipping seems to have changed since I last looked. Thank you!
Can you make a more detailed video for Monogram. Like how to price them ; is the product/phrase research the same as jewelry ?
It’s similar. I mentioned the way to research in this video… 🤔I did miss the pricing tho! Kinda. You can see what I price ours at.
Great info! Haven't been able to crack this product yet, but not giving up. Jewelry Juggernaut Student question - Do you use the same rules, budgets, etc. for your metal art ads that you're using for jewelry?
Rules depend on margin of product. Ie atc & pur rules would have more room to play as there’s so much more profit.
The riches are in the niches (which really doesn’t rhyme they way I say neeeeeeesh haha)
@@RonnieMcKenzie Loved this video,Ronnie! Does teelaunch ship the metal wall art to their customers with instructions on how to hang them included? If not, what should we respond to customer in case they ask about how to hang it on their wall? I just want to make sure I am making it clear on my Shopify product description that the customer needs to ensure they are hanging the metal wall art correctly and the fact that any damage the customer does to their wall by hanging it incorrectly is not the seller(that’s me) responsibility. Just wondering if I should include this on my store policies or not, would appreciate your response. Thanks!
Niche element keyword+ sillouete?
Awesome as always. Going to start an etsy store soon. Might be best to stay away from metal work as I'm a noob. But do you think it'd work with a gaming niche?
Not sure. I haven’t done the research to know. It’s a pretty massive niche tho.
Hi!! Great content as always! I have a question! which app for personalization is the best in terms of Price/Quality?
I use infinite options. That gives you the customer data that you need to do the personalization.
Hi Ron!
You mentioned in one of your video that you are upselling mounting hardware to your products. How are you doing that if teelaunch doesnt offer it?
Do you add mounting holes in your design for easier instalation?
If you install My Easy Monogram they have gem available and they have tons of good products as well.
Hey I didn’t see the Ad video setup you mentioned. I looked through your playlist as well.
Strange. Here you go! :) ua-cam.com/video/KI4fSsTDfdc/v-deo.html
@@RonnieMcKenzie thank you so much!
I made a custom motorcycle sign but can't figure out the best people to run ads too I tried and spent like 90 dollars and no sells what do you recommend? Love your videos wish they where a little longer
@@grudierjason if only I had time my man haha. Flat stick at the moment. If it’s motorcycle or Harley related that’s where I’d start if it was somehthing that connected it would have sold. I look for scale which means I cut early and test a lot to find the big winners. What that means is I don’t spend a lot of time trying to find the angle or hook that might be able to make it sell. If you can keep testing different designs!
Thanks heaps for watching. I appreciate it.
Charisma! Of course you have done well! Thanks for sharing. I’ve learned so much since I found you.
Are you based in Australia? And if so, how did you get sample products sent to you as it seems Teelaunch and My Easy Monogram don't ship metal signs internationally. Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately it's very difficult to get samples sent down here.
How can I sell in Australia please help me with this and some guidance 🙏.
Haven’t found a metal supplier down here.
Sounds great Ron
Cheers man.
hi what app do you use to personalize the metal mate
I have been designing metal art on the tee launch platform and just sold a few pieces. I personally have not gotten any samples but it seems when the program converts my art into the art file their trace tool messes up the design and makes some of the design edges rough. I talked to tee launch support and they said their trace tool is messing up. I need to order a sample and see if it shows on my final product, but if you go into your tee launch account and go to one of your products and click on your art file do you have the same imperfections in your design where some of your smooth lines are jagged and such? And yes I'm using high dpi files, I have tried all versions 100, 150 and 300. Thanks.
Ill have to take a look. I’ve not noticed anything odd but haven’t been looking for errors either. :)
@@RonnieMcKenzie Cool, let me know what you find. Will be some peace of mind if you have these rough edges as well, and still have had a lot of happy customers. Yeah if you go into your products click on one and then click on the art file, then click to zoom in and just look at the piece you might see these rough edges and such. Cheers.
@@whoisadam hey Adam! I was wondering what you tell the customers when they ask how to hang the metal wall art they buy from you confusing teelaunch doesn’t supply the mounting hardware?
@@Om-gg5tk Hey, Im telling customers to use small nails in the holes of the design and if there is enough metal they can use velcro strips. Though I have not really been focusing on print on demand too much these days.
Great video, just a question. In order to add personalization is there an app that must be installed? How would the process work if I am working with Etsy integration? Thanks.
Toggle the hold orders button on Teelaunch to ensure you get the chance to upload personalized art. Infinite options on Shopify and just add personalization in the etsy listing when uploading/updating.
@@RonnieMcKenzie thanks man
Thank you! Being from Australia, you must have the same issues I run into. I'm based out of Canada. How did you get around being outside the U.S.? Would it be as simple as making a shop with a fake US address?
Thanks.
It’s a “Virtual” address :)
I appreciate your reply now than you can imagine! You answered several questions I had with one word! That solves most of my concerns, However, I'm left with a couple questions. If I were to open an Etsy account, would I register with that virtual address even if my financial information and IP wouldn't match?
Question Ron, what do you do about returns??
Nothing :D Thankfully as the merchant we don't need to worry about receiving the products back. We do need to make sure our customer service in place however. If theres an issue, then the supplier will most often take care of it!
Still hoping for an answer. Thanks.
Not sure if you will see this Ronnie, but I had a question. I love the idea of the metal art on teelaunch, but when I found out there is not a way to hang them, I thought this would only leave to bad feedback. The metal art is flat and does not come with any kind of attachment to hang them as shown in the teelaunch mocks, so how do you deal with that? I asked teelaunch about adding holes for screws to my designs, and they were not very helpful in telling me what size hole to add since there are different sign sizes and the holes would change with size. So how to you get around this problem when selling the metal wall art? What do you tell buyers about hanging them? Thanks
Did you find any solution

Just create a small circle on your design for hanging
It looks like there should be a reply, but I cannot see it.
fuck I just found your video 2 years later. It's going insane ton Etsy. Mate, can you do a follow up video on Metal art, how its evolved or changed. Hope you see this comment soon.
Still plenty of opportunity on Etsy for sure! :D

i am designer so where i sell it and how can i get profit...??
How do you work around teelaunch to personalize the design with different names?!? What about Shineon Metal sign how can you list them on Etsy and then order off the platform? Because you can;t syn them to Etsy yet!
Teelaunch just toggle the “hold orders” button on upload or change it in product settings.
ShoneOne Etsy orders are all manual so set the listing up to be personalized :)
@@RonnieMcKenzie thanks
Can we upload DXF or SVC files from Etsy to Canva for metal art or do these files need to be converted? Tks.
Can i dropship finished products from my easy monogram from their catalogue (their designs)?
Definitely.
How can I sell in the uk please 🙏 Thank you very much for your help ❤
Hey there! Message me on IG on my handle: @theronniemckenzie :) I'll help you there
Any idea what the packing slip looks like when its shipped? Does it say its from MEM or does it say its from the seller?
It should be generic. It's not going to mention MEM.
Do any of the partners you work with supply the hardware for the metal signs?
My easy monogram does :)
Is it safe to buy and use SVG/DHF design files from Etsy as is for my designs? Would I need to buy a commercial license to use them? I'm thinking of selling metal wall art on Etsy
As a courtesy reach out to the seller if not mentioned. If they say it’s fine to resell on POD it’ll be fine :)
Great video, bit disappointed there’s no TikTok worthy dance though 😆 I’ve signed up 👌🏼
My sincerest apologies haha. I’ll try and put one on next time 😅
HI you mentioned a Facebook Ads Agency. Can you tell me more about that. I can't set up facebook accounts or use facebook to advertise. Thanks
Dude the pricing seems to be reallllllly affordable that give! I do metal art on my Etsy store!
Hey there! May I know where do you hire your designers from for your metal art?
Very good video mate! Actually setting up my first print on demand shop right now so vary valuable!👏👏
Thank you for the kind words! Can’t wait to see you crush! Have you sold on a platform previously?
@@RonnieMcKenzie your business ideas are just bomb. But plz tell us how to market the products without paid advertisement bcz some camt afford paid advertisement...
@@ShereeTariq Etsy is the cheapest way to sell products :)
@@RonnieMcKenzie If we are selling metal art ot jewelry on Shopify platform, what is the best and free platform to advertise?
@@ShereeTariq Etsy :)
How do you make sure the partner (receiver) is interested in hunting as well as the giver when targeting?
The interests I target are for niches where it’s typically a lifestyle.
When people are giving gifts they are generally giving a bit of themselves. So jewelry cards/designs etc work very well for that.
@@RonnieMcKenzie thank you Ronnie!
Love this and perfect for one of my niches. Ronnie, this niche is freedom/2nd amendment based but I'm guessing FB is not going to allow images of guns/rifles even if I'm not actually selling weapons, are they? The niche isn't hunting specific so images of animals/trophies etc won't work.
You will find it difficult as I believe it’s deemed political in which case given that we’re Aussie we can’t advertise that on fb. 😤😢
@@RonnieMcKenzie I’m getting around it with jewelry by focussing on patriotism after my funny af designs about Biden and Trump were rejected lol. I even asked a girl in the US to partner with me and verify to do political stuff but she said she was already denied that on FB and kicked off Etsy for having a mask design about free speech... 😂😂🤦♀️. But specifically my question is about guns. Can you sell products on FB that have images of guns?
@@alisonchandler7585 good question. I haven’t tried for quite a while.
@@RonnieMcKenzie Maybe I’ll give it a whirl from my second ad account lol.
I actually have a cnc plasma table and a powder coating setup that I work with on the side of my day job. Id love to have someone that owned a store of some sort I could supply with product at wholesale costs or something. I am not good at marketing but I can make metal art. HAHA.
Where are you based?
@@RonnieMcKenzie I am out of Indiana, USA.
Is it possible to add reviews to the product pages on the shineon platform?
Yes. ShineOn imports them automatically.

I tried my easy monogram, but the only customisation they allow is the name and not anything else?
Did I miss something?
Have you tried reaching out to them?
Ron Mac Yep, but they say that they will “add the design sometime in the near future”. And right now I should use the current ones they have.
I will speak to them.
Are youu the supplier? Who is the supplier to create my designs in metal?
uuuh i am not english person, could please you name the website you use to make this ?
Does this metal art co intergrade with Shopify?
Sure does!
can you sell these on etsy and do they integrate with them
You can. It’s not integrated but you can use apps like CEDcommerce to get it done. Our VA manually places all our metal orders.
@@RonnieMcKenzie can u talk more about CEDcommerce and how that works. Do u need a shopify store for that ?
I would also like to set this up with my Etsy. I’m lost when it comes to Shopify.
The CED guys are insanely helpful. Any question I’ve asked they’ve answered in minutes and done the work for me.
Did he mention the pod supplier for the metal signs? Lol
There's no link to the ad set up
