- Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is delivering remarks on the U.S. Senate floor on gun violence following the recent shootings of a 16-year old boy who mistakenly knocked on the wrong door in Kansas City, Missouri; a 20-year-old woman who mistakenly drove up the wrong driveway in Hebron, New York; and two teenage cheerleaders who mistakenly got in the wrong car in Elgin, Texas.

I’m glad you’re addressing this. Gun laws are an important factor, but our easily kindled aggression is also a significant part of the story. What to do about it may require more creativity, but it has the potential to be more bipartisan.
I will own whatever gun that I want to own. Deal with it...

This is the best analysis I've ever heard of the current problems in the US. He totally takes the problem of Gun violence head on by highlighting it's not just the guns but society and how America arrived at where they are in an increasingly divided country.I also find it repulsive that large companies profit on this divide. Come on America your not all bad ,let's show the humane side and start talking about these problems with your brothers and sisters...Thats what will make America great again ❤
