My wife's great uncle grew up down the street from where e.m. bounds once lived and witnessed every morning at 4:30 his light would be on, undoubtedly he was up doing what we know he did best...PRAY.
God Let us be true disciples and go often to that closet... the prayer closet, and let us refuse to get up unrefreshed, let us refuse to be the same as when we started praying.. no sinful man can be the same after being in the presence of God almighty.
Just started reading The Weapon Of Prayer by E.M. Bounds for the second time, so grateful I found this book in a pile on my bookshelf, it is timeless and so timely, thank you Lord you know exactly what I need and when I need it! We are in amazing and urgent times! My dearest brothers and sisters in Christ, pray to the God Almighty for HIS WILL TO BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
E.M. Bounds' writings deeply impacted me when I read his "complete works" in 1996. Since then I have recommended him to others. His writings on prayer are punchy and so quotable!
