This was SO amazing and I learned so much!! Even the stuff I already knew helps me because it reinforces my capabilities. And beyond that, it gives me the confidence with this new info to make more! Thank you so much for this
thanks for showing the disabling resampling mode part, that being enabled by default was a bad idea, interpolated frames looks terrible, glad i saw this video after my 5th ytpmv
I love you so much for this Edit: would you consider making a vid about pitch, effects and audio in general? Back in the day I really struggled to find info on how to manipulate samples, only pitch shifting, it discouraged me so much
Vegas 13 user here. Resample is not an option in my project settings. Do i really have to left click all the video clips in the project to enable this?
you can select multiple video clips at once and change them to disable resample, but yeah other than that idk if there's a faster way then just waiting until the end before render and using the selection tool on every video clip ua-cam.com/video/J2D-WX1n_7g/v-deo.html
the envelope pointer lets you draw in automation envelopes. pretty handy for choppy audio/opacity/effects (if you use track effects you can automate them with envelopes on the timeline) or custom easing on keyframes since vegas only has like 6 presets for keyframe easing.
super helpful, can't believe there's so much stuff I still have yet to learn about ytpmv! I would love to see more of this type of thing in the future.
so yeah generally when it comes to timing youre going to have to manipulate the video with the audio. Usually thats fine, but when it looks bad you could always do visuals after youve done audio. Theres also the option of crossfading, although im not sure if theres another tutorial out there for it. Basically thats where you take a sample and loop it on top of each other, although this is a skill in and of itself
@@arv584 gotcha, you have a few options: 1. Pick a different source or song. Sadly the beauty in ytpmv is finding a perfect match of source + song so it could just be that not even the best ytpmvers could get it to sound good without manipulating it beyond recognition 2. Time stretch vegas plugin. extend the clip out to the length of the note, then add in the plugin and select A07 and change it to a higher % until it sounds good. Additionally this will make your video look fucked so consider reversing the video to make up for it
Are there any tips you mentioned in here that you know only work in newer Vegas versions? I have to use Vegas 11 because of my computer and I was wondering if I had to do any of these differently.
Other than the resampling having to be clip by clip, I'm pretty sure all of these work. I went from Vegas 9 -> 13 -> 15, and 15 was around late 2017. I don't think any of these are really version specific.
I am YTPMV I can will do that for Reaper if you need me and I think Windows 7 will help you to be aware of what is happening with your business computer and you

For normalization, I find it easier to, when you right-click, just press H then N, and the keyboard shortcuts will go directly to it.

Sure that could be for ep 2.

what do i do if a clip i have isn't long enough? does strecthing it affect the video?

@@soarozz in my case the audio isn't long enough sorry i didn't specify it before, is it the same procedure?
