Then Fallout 1 happened, which if Fallout 1 happened, then Fallout 2 could. Thus, the Chosen One is the very reason why he/she will be born. Looking into it to deep or am I a fucktard?
Cpt Ace Welt What I meant is that in Fallout New Vegas with all DLC's also gives you a canteen which from time to time you automatically use. Now, don't you go correcting me boy.
Bethesda wouldn't ever be able to get away with direct references like these. Best they can muster up is Monty Python references and some other pop culture references. But they can't hope to ever recreate a Star Trek crash sight or a Guardian of Forever portal in HD. To much work and too many copyright issues. >_>
***** Yep, you're right. Looked on wikipedia and they seemingly made at least four of them. Could we see some of that shit in FO4 after all? Right now, who knows...
Bethesda never made these games they bought fallout when the interstellar went bankrupt and sold full rights to Bethesda, Bethesda first official fallout was fallout tactics.
The whale remains are from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I love that they put this sort of love into their game; artists probably spent quite a while creating their original content; content that could be missed entirely. These days, you don't seem to get many games that have such depth. I mean, if they can make extra content and charge for DLC, why stick something in that you might not even see? :-/
James Kerrigan yeah, that's the unfortunate part of modern games, models, textures, etc are expensive to make for something that's a one off. plus the dev time....... it's too bad. always loved the little easter eggs you could find in older games.
Why I am I thinking that a chem guy had the smartest idea to fill the dog up with chems to make it the most powerful thing in the world will now he's dead and it has 750hp and killed a Deathclaw one of the toughest monsters in fallout lore
thejonathan130 Well, I'm playing F2 right now on...rather new computer with Windows 7, but it plays really smoothly too, so maybe it is Styles' computer after all.
For the dead whale (16:00), why the heck is it a pot of daisies? It's supposed to be a bowl of petunias. Were they just trolling people who knew what it was an allusion to?
Necrobadger I know it from the radio series, then the books, then the TV show. I haven't watched the whole movie, so I don't even know if it's in there.
Lol that‘s pretty cool, I really liked the overall look of Fallout 1 and 2 more then Fallout 3 or 4, like of courde they have more detail but in Fallout 2, you have those gigantic citys with most buildings looking the same and stuff, in Fallout 4 you have tons of colours everywere
yea fallout 4 looks like nuclear devastation wasn't that bad. In F1 and 2 it really shows the destruction and emptyness it has created. Much better immersion and atmosphere
If you're lucky enough to get the Bridgekeeper early on it pretty much breaks the game. One time I got him in between Arroyo and Klamath. Made the early part of the game like killing the rat god so easy.
No it wouldn't be funny. It is interesting to look at that odd encounters as a memories of Chosen's hallucinations or a weir stories told about Chosen long after.
They should grab this game, re-skin it, and make it even deeper, with more special random encounters, and more detailled and varied descriptions on the pip-boy, to make it even more novel-like. Just grab what it already has, add a few or many extra new things, and make it even more inmersive than it is.
I got a 4TB memory computer, state of the art processor, power supply, and all that other stuff, it run on my Windows 7 but what sucks, is that it has these stupid random colours all over the screen on white coloured objects. I have original disc from all that long ago and version 1.0. XD Probably why.
Morten Bakke They just drop their weapons. Its best to let the rabbit/rat kill them when you see them later and then kill the rat with a crit to the eye. You get the holy hand grenade, later, too
Why don't you read the message log? In the guardian of forever location you broke the waterchip in vault 13 but you wouldn't know it, cause you didn't even read...
People tell me that vehicles are not something that fit in the fallout universe, while I like that like "WHAT?" then i point towards fallout 1 and 2 also if the sir aruthur's knights are looking for hte holy hand grenade they may want to try vegas but I am surprised with how fallout was made otu I am surprise that there is no faction group remaking itself as middle age knights with guns
You missed the sequel one to king arthur one where they encounter the 'vorpal rat' and in the cave is the holy hand grenade which you can take and run off, i dont recommend fighting the rat tbh
My favorite special encounters are: The Cafe of Broken Dreams - You can recruit Dogmeat here The Guardian of Forever - You can find Solar Scorcher here (it's one of my favorite weapons), plus, a nice time traveling experience A man guarding a bridge - Play your cards right and you will get Bridgekeeper's Robes, which are basically a combat armor, but they weigh much less. Plus, if you are lucky enough, you will find this location early in the game, which will end your problems with body armor until you reach later stages of the game.
Someone please tell me, how long do I have until the guys in our village die? I already had 2 reminders, and I'm doing relatively well, so I don't really want to restart the game. :(
Is it possible to remove that "scratching your head in power armor" sound effect from the game? I just finished 1 and wantto play 2 but not if I have to deal with that annoyance again lol!
Boi, I sure am glad I was born in the year 2000 in a country that has nothing to do with the UK/America and therefore, I understand NONE of the references.
James Kerrigan Yes it is the recording program not my computer. Fallout and other games work great on my computer but for some reason the recording program doesn't like the older games.
> Goes to Vault 13
> Break water chip
> Whoops
> ???
> Profit
+GentlePenguin 89
And now my character I create ' John Cena ' will have to
get another water treatment ship
For some reason, this thought conforts you.
Then Fallout 1 happened, which if Fallout 1 happened, then Fallout 2 could. Thus, the Chosen One is the very reason why he/she will be born. Looking into it to deep or am I a fucktard?
**sighs* Time for me to make another vault dweller.
Stonks
The Chosen One went back in time and Broke the Water Chip, "Whoops"
Chosen One's dandruff problems are so bad he scratches his head in Power Armor.
try wear a helmet.....
the Vault Dweller has plagued his whole family with the disease, even the Chosen One
I'd like to imagine this guy, clad in Enclave armor, getting into an argument with a statue head, for 12 WHOLE HOURS.
UH UH
UH HUH
+Turkish Spaghettie He should have just told him he was the Chosen One and grandson of the Vault Dweller
*Grandson of the Vault Dweller.
Storyteller did it
now imagine him saying that as Arch Dornan for 12 hours
"You take a sip from your trusty vault 13 canteen"
You do that in Fallout New Vegas
Lone Wanderer NOOOOOO...
Lone Wanderer Fucking idiot idiot idiot etc
Lone Wanderer Vault 13 is from fallout 1
Cpt Ace Welt What I meant is that in Fallout New Vegas with all DLC's also gives you a canteen which from time to time you automatically use. Now, don't you go correcting me boy.

Yeah, it was a different time back then.
***** Whoa! Really?
***** Yep, you're right. Looked on wikipedia and they seemingly made at least four of them. Could we see some of that shit in FO4 after all? Right now, who knows...

Eric Guzman Yes, Eric. I know that... >_>

so when you played those fallout dlc's the second time around you never saw anything new?
I completely forgot about the sperm whale! That was a good book!
Love the holy grail references.
WHAT! IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?
WRONG AGAIN!
WHAT! IS THE AIR SPEED VELOCITY OF A FAVOURITE COLOUR!?
HoplooWare But aren't opinions part of the brain and thus use the speed of electrical impulses inside the human body?
Zygzygsy Hegemony Depends. Whose favourite colour?
*SCRATCHES HEAD IN POWER ARMOR*
fallout is love,fallout is life.
damn tourists...
*eats rock*
+zamrzivac93 : 12 hours of parroting Uh-Huh like that... I hope that rock was worth it.
DAMN TERRORISTS
Played so many games over the years, but this one is by far my favorite
LAG: The Game: The Movie
The Powerpoint
The Adobe Flash player game recording full fraps
Did that dog kill a Deathclaw? Scratch that, did that dog have 750 health?! 12:30
LunarD3A7H in fallout online i punched to death singlehadedly a deathclaw while i had lvl 5
+Harpi Loller is fallout online good? and do people still play it in 2016??
yes i played all day today its pretty fun
+Harpi Loller sweet I'll have to download it at some point
Why I am I thinking that a chem guy had the smartest idea to fill the dog up with chems to make it the most powerful thing in the world will now he's dead and it has 750hp and killed a Deathclaw one of the toughest monsters in fallout lore
they really put so much thought into this game.
Sad how bethesda don't
how is fallout 2, a 16 year old 2d game, lagging so bad??
what are you running this on, a coconut?
Old games aren't playing smoothly on new computers, ya know.
Vernon Roche Very true, I totally forgot about that. But personally I've never had fallout lag on anything...
thejonathan130
Well, I'm playing F2 right now on...rather new computer with Windows 7, but it plays really smoothly too, so maybe it is Styles' computer after all.
Vernon Roche i have a windows 8 laptop with bad graphics but ok everything else and i cant even open my F2 and my F1 runs at like 10fps with drops
***** Maybe it's a problem with W8 because anything should run Fallout 2 no problem.
i always laughed at the one where you overhear War, saying "I can change".
I wish they made games that had substance these days.
Can't believe you forgot the solar scorcher in vault 13.
I am going to guess it was in the other half of the Vault in that wall safe. If so then yes I forgot to put it into the video. Damn. Sorry about that.
StylesV13 Nah, it's laying on the ground in the second room with the lockers. I think it's considered the weapon room.
***** Doing some research it would be there I ran passed it. Thanks for pointing that out.
That first building he walks into, the layout and the design and everything really reminded me of Jagged Alliance 2.
Well, this explains how the water chip got broken and why the vault didn't have much in the way of supplies to give you at the start.
Why do you walk everywhere instead of permarun?
I got a rare dialog box while fighting a raider "I cant wait until fallout 3 to kick your ass!"
Pics or it didn't happen
youre talking to a comment that was months ago. they will never reply to you.
It can happen, after you blow up the oil rig.
R.I.P. Van Buren :'(
@@TheSithlord259 You never know bro
It happened to me too, in mercenaries' cave
For the dead whale (16:00), why the heck is it a pot of daisies? It's supposed to be a bowl of petunias. Were they just trolling people who knew what it was an allusion to?
Dave Power #6 What *is* it from?
***** It's from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
+Dave Power #6 The question is now, do you know it from the book series, or the inferior movie?
+Necrobadger From BBC Radio's production of it! My personal favorite.
Necrobadger I know it from the radio series, then the books, then the TV show. I haven't watched the whole movie, so I don't even know if it's in there.
6:14 You missed the Unique Gun on the ground :)
16:03 HAHA! That Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy reference is great :)
I love how you can recruit dogmeat from fallout 1
Fraps is shaiza with Fallout 2 and 1. I'd personally use Bandicam for these retro (because retro means old but cool) classics.
The stone ring is a reference to the Star Trek episode, "City on the Edge of Forever".
Didn't you get a headache from playing like that ? It runs like a flip-book but the person drew only on every 15th page.
The first one was pure genius by the devs
Lol that‘s pretty cool, I really liked the overall look of Fallout 1 and 2 more then Fallout 3 or 4, like of courde they have more detail but in Fallout 2, you have those gigantic citys with most buildings looking the same and stuff, in Fallout 4 you have tons of colours everywere

anybody else find this video cozy?
Are those holy grenades Arthur's knights were looking for the same holy grenades you can find in New Vegas?
Yes. They were supposed to be in Fallout 2 as well but got cut. Developers of Fallout 2 worked on New Vegas.
@@StylesV13 I've always wondered what they mean. Thanks!
If you're lucky enough to get the Bridgekeeper early on it pretty much breaks the game. One time I got him in between Arroyo and Klamath. Made the early part of the game like killing the rat god so easy.
still looking beauty
7:45 I would love to see this
Conversation in fallout 3 or nv
What happens if you have a water chip from Vault City on you in that Guardian Portal random encounter?
I believe nothing happens. It's been sometime and I might have a false memory having a chip does nothing.
And who would then replace the water chip?
Back to the future so much
No it wouldn't be funny. It is interesting to look at that odd encounters as a memories of Chosen's hallucinations or a weir stories told about Chosen long after.
Styles of Arroyo is such a legendary name lmao.
Imagine arguing 12 hours with a statue, only to get a fucking 5 pound rock.
Love this game! This should be remastered for the next entry. This and the first one as well
Ah damn I had a bad feeling I forgot something! I posted a link in the description that shows Mel in Cafe of Broken Dreams.
They should grab this game, re-skin it, and make it even deeper, with more special random encounters, and more detailled and varied descriptions on the pip-boy, to make it even more novel-like. Just grab what it already has, add a few or many extra new things, and make it even more inmersive than it is.
Man, it's like Monty Python's Fallout feat. Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy
Why does the audio glitch at 3:50 happen? Always heard it when I played
I got a 4TB memory computer, state of the art processor, power supply, and all that other stuff, it run on my Windows 7 but what sucks, is that it has these stupid random colours all over the screen on white coloured objects. google "unoffical fallout patch" It will fix all the glitches and will make your game run like a charm.
What happens if you kill the brotherhood of steel guys searching for the "Holy hand grenade". Do they drop 2 GEEK's?
What the fuck is "geek"?
JEDENZET it's a new kind of armor. Nah. Type error. GECK.
Morten Bakke They just drop their weapons. Its best to let the rabbit/rat kill them when you see them later and then kill the rat with a crit to the eye.
You get the holy hand grenade, later, too
The talking head made me crack up
Did you just take a full day ARGUEING BACK AND FORTH WITH A GIANT STONE HEAD!?!? Thats it, the Chosen Oneis insane.
Why don't you read the message log? In the guardian of forever location you broke the waterchip in vault 13 but you wouldn't know it, cause you didn't even read...
Why didn't u have solar scorcher in guardian of forever?
6.14-15, he forgets it on the floor, you can see it
Watch it at x2 speed. Trust me, you'll save some time
I wonder if u can actually save the spammer from those ,,villagers''
Yes. He says nothing special and leaves walking slowly.
Do any of Arthur's BOS knights have a GECK on them?
Man, the monty python swear jar is brimming....
3:50 Why is the audio so fucked up? Were you skipping parts of the video?
You missed the sequel one to king arthur one where they encounter the 'vorpal rat' and in the cave is the holy hand grenade which you can take and run off, i dont recommend fighting the rat tbh
Lol it comforts you because thats how the chosen one exists xD
Ha a whale and a pot of petunias, is this magrethea!
What happens if you have a functioning water chip with you during the 'Guardian of Forever' special encounter?
Arthur is funny, he trolled back the player, lolz.
I found the giant stone
The suicider brahims (great for earn xp)
The fallout question asker blocking the bridge, try hit him,and boom bramin
My favorite special encounters are:
The Cafe of Broken Dreams - You can recruit Dogmeat here
The Guardian of Forever - You can find Solar Scorcher here (it's one of my favorite weapons), plus, a nice time traveling experience
A man guarding a bridge - Play your cards right and you will get Bridgekeeper's Robes, which are basically a combat armor, but they weigh much less. Plus, if you are lucky enough, you will find this location early in the game, which will end your problems with body armor until you reach later stages of the game.
I love how the talking statue head has more of a personality than most modern woke characters
Soooooo
The chosen one killed the vault
Someone please tell me, how long do I have until the guys in our village die? I already had 2 reminders, and I'm doing relatively well, so I don't really want to restart the game. :(
As far as I know it does not have a limit
13 years irl time. Have fun.
13 years in-game, dont worry
There are some patches, official and fandmade, maybe you use some of them. Makes your game run better.
I encountered a massively sized enclave soldier like Frank Horrigan and two other soldiers kill 3 civilians
It is Frank.
If u kill the guys who say have the GECK do you find it in their loots? (I think itried and didn''t but in mot sure)
You think the game would let you win so easily like this?xD
in cafe of broken dreams you could attack the dog by hand and then... Mel Gibson will appear!
What is the Grand Portal? I know it I just can't remember...
so much lag, are you running this game on an actual Potato?
just a stupid question: if you dont have a vault 13 water canteen on your inventory you will die faster in the game? like runing along in the map?
No you won’t die it doesn’t really have an effect
Is it possible to remove that "scratching your head in power armor" sound effect from the game? I just finished 1 and wantto play 2 but not if I have to deal with that annoyance again lol!
are you running fallout on a pentium 133????
I watched this in 2012 at the frame rate the video just now ended in 2017
Boi, I sure am glad I was born in the year 2000 in a country that has nothing to do with the UK/America and therefore, I understand NONE of the references.
didnt take solar scorcher
"Can I poke him with a stick to nake sure he's dead?" xD
Holy shit man, buy a new computer enough for a cheapest one..
It's probably the recording software. It can make the game incredibly laggy.
James Kerrigan What? The game normally looks like this.
James Kerrigan Yes it is the recording program not my computer. Fallout and other games work great on my computer but for some reason the recording program doesn't like the older games.
+RedRock Peter im abit late here, but its to do with a background app that slows it down, i had the same problem till i disabled it.
best fallout game
Best game ever
Clip-clop.
The Star Trek one is cool!
playing Fo2 with 10fps, you shouldn't play videa on a calculator
87NightHunter WITCH IS HILARIOUS
What's with the slow frame rates?
I like he Monty Python random encounter! :))
What about the Star wars?
The daisies do not count as petunias.
is this game like 1fps? I mean no offence, I am just asking a question seriously.
His screen recorder is bad
Why is it so laggy? No offense.
lol so many monty python references
16:42 Free Willzyx, hahaha
nice reference to HHGTTG 16:03
Why is it so laggy?
This made me really want to play the game will it run on any computer if you get it on steam?
Movement not slow enough
Is your processor made of wood or something?
Dogmeat is in FO2?
Technically, there's Rex in New Vegas, but he's just not the same.
He's in every game except NV
He's in every game except NV, BOS, and Tactics.
