I found this video because I'm trying to figure out if mine are broken. When ANC is on I can still hear background sounds the same as when it's "off". Like, even quiet things like mouse clicks and the sound of a light switch flipping. I don't listen to my music very loud so I was hoping that ANC would help keep the room quiet but it feels like it's not doing anything. So does it seem like it's broken??
what i like from this review is that i am wearing and using a beats flex and i agree when she said that it always fall whenever you smile or laugh or simply talking..i think its same in buds
I fixed the audio problem with an equalizer on my phone. I don't have many complaints after I did that. Although I don't think the target market for these buds would know how to equalize an IEM (fancy term for ear bud). But if you do know how to equalize in software..... they're ight.
My power beats pro are almost unusable, the left one cuts out music to the point to wear you can only use the right. Half the time they do not pick up a charge while in the case either

I have both AirPods Pro 2 and Beats Studio Buds. I’ve been testing them to see which one I want and I agree with you. Also, the sound on the Beats are too airy to me and not as full as my AirPods. I will be giving my Beats to my mother. Thanks for this video. EDIT: And I did miss the AirPods Pro thing of effortlessly moving between my iPad and my iPhone. BSB doesn’t do that.
I returned mine because they had a lot of issues like cutting out, when cold turned off noise canceling, when put in my ear it would make a weird noise.
I lost my beats in the house and they won’t play the sound to find them. The map says they are in my house and I can’t find them! Ugh! I’ve been looking all week and have given up. I think I’m going to upgrade to someone better since I’m not too happy with the sound quality either.
Sound quality on the beats studio bud is so annoying, well they make some weird sound like wind/buzz/static when you stop the Sound or music that you're playing. I just got them and I don't know if I should return them or not. I'm still thinking about it.
Hello @NothingButTecj do you think that these are better then the beats fit pro and I like the design of the studio buds so is it good for hip hop music
I agree on returning and not spending your money on these. The sound quality is definitely subpar. I only got these because after my issues with a pair of first/second gen AirPods I used to have (with them literally deteriorating over time), I thought the beats buds would be better. With my AirPods, it's like one would go out, I get a replacement, then some months later the other would do the same, another replacement, and then the replacement would go out. It was extremely irritating which kept my from buying the Pros thinking I'd just have the same issue. Love the Beats buds design but as far as sound, the AirPods win by a landslide. If you're hoping to hear the base of a song literally vibrating in your ears, these are not it. Talk about a disappointment, but hey at least they're pink.
Just got them today because the shop didn't habe the buds live that I wanted. I'm honestly already disappointed because the sound quality just seems worse than any cheap in ear headphones I've had. The maximum volume sounds like just above half way up on the normal volume scale I was used to with the headphones that came with my Huawei phone 😒
I can't find a review of the studio buds vs beats flex! Compared to the sound... Beats flex where great sounding earbuds. Now I'm in the market for something new.
Bruh.. she barely placed them in her ear. I bought a pair and instructions on packaging show you're supposed to twist them into your ear. I tried putting them in the way she showed them off in her ear and I can confirm, they suck. But, if you actually put them IN your ear, they ain't bad at all.
Cool video.. there are a lot of other reviewers that think these are better than ApplePods… but I didn’t know they weren’t wireless charge. For a first time buyer of pods, what is your suggestion?
I’ve been having those studio buds but I use them for practicing volleyball inside the gym and basketball. Then with my new air pods that my brother got me for Christmas I just use them casually to listen to music homework school just young adult teen stuff
I’m sorry, but I feel like people hate on this because they expect them to be better or to sound just like AirPods which shouldn’t be the case they should go in judging these as their own headphones. These are definitely some good headphones if you’re not trying to spend the extra money on AirPods, and if you have an android there definitely a better option. I would even say with my iPhone there’s still a decent option.
I agree with almost all points made by her, idk why people are disagreeing so much. I wouldn't return them though because the points she mentioned are not a deal breaker for me. Thanks for your honest opinions !!
Brutal honesty keeps me coming back. Too many channels seem afraid to say something just isn't worth it. And that is really important to companies to hear too. Maybe they will address issues if more influential voices are heard, or helps people unify a clear message.
I’d have to disagree with the audio quality. I thought they where comparable. But they really where not comparable to me, I also had some Bluetooth problems with them. But my complaint isn’t in the audio quality category. I thought it sounded great
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Maybe it depends on what genre of music you listen to but Beats sound great to me. Best sounding earbuds I've ever had.
I've found that you almost have to just let the earbuds go when u have them over the spot they go in the case, the magnets are string enough that it just pulls them straight in where they need to go
i bought them uz my airpods pros after 2 years stared to have some problems, i absolutley love the small amount of xtra base in them, but HOLY F i miss the H1 chip, weird is that the beats flex for 50$ has the w1 chip
Had my beat buds for over 6 months and honestly I use them more than my wireless charging apple buds, so I honestly have no clue what this lady is on about.
question. I bought these 2 week after the release. As of tonight my right one won't connect and before then (this morning before school) they both kept playing music at full volume while in the case and wouldn't disconnect until I turned off bluetooth. Anyone else having this problem?
I also am dissatisfied with the studio beats buds, I only use the right one at work and overtime i notice that the right one has sounded used up, now when I use both of them the left one sounds better then the right one.
Honestly they probably never had a great seal for you. I find them much more fun and “colorful” to listen to than my airpods 2 or airpods pro. They sound crispy and punchy. They add that punch in low bass that airpods pro are missing.
i got a beat up pair of beats for free they fell out of a car, i cleaned them up used them for 2 years. I then decided that they were the best earbuds i ever had and got a new pair.
I had just bought the Bose quiet comfort and used them for a few days.. I loved the sound and everything about them.. they were a bit big but the sound was amazing.. had to return them because they hurt my ears .. exchanged them for these Beats Studio buds and I like the way they fit but the sound does not compare to Bose.. I think I may go back and exchange them again for the Bose sport and see how they are.. kinda bummed on the beats though.
I don’t know about the falling out in here why talking and stuff? I do a lot of talking when I have these in or just smile, or even just working out and jump roping and these have never fell out of my ear or doing any of those. Maybe I would try switching the size of that earbud covers I mean these probably won’t be forever in person but he’s definitely are great headphones and I think people try to compare them too much to the actual AirPods then actually taking them for what they are
@@Moose185 Beside the fit… The sound wasn’t as good as reviews lead me to believe. Plus one thing a haven’t heard people mention is when not use noise cancellation the sound quality changes drastically. It loses fullness and body
I don't know about over the pond there, but here in a tea country these beats just got a masssssive price drop from the equivalent of about $220 to $125 and 2 years out from the original review, I'm wondering how they stack up to like $99 ear buds and others in that kind of price range. Either way, I've never had air pods because I'm a broke boy... well, that's not true, I just always felt I could live without them and bought other stuff instead because truthfully the only place I really use buds is in the gym where I sweat all over them and for that reason haven't wanted to dive into getting anything too expensive. That said 2024 is going to be my year of finally trying ANC, not that buds don't passively block out most of the gym sound already (they do a pretty good job tbh) but because my music always sounds so quiet and I hear ANC helps you percieve the music as louder without the background interference... and yea, at £99 or about $125 these hit a real sweet price/performance spot in the current market for 'cheap-ish' ANC ear buds by a reputable brand. For clarity, my current pair were literally like a $20 off-brand, bought in a Wal-Mart on sale about 2.5 years ago and for what they are - seriously haven't missed a beat (pun intended). Upgrading is pretty frivolous considering how well my current 'Mixx Stream Buds' actually hold up to the abuse... I bought them with the promise to myself I'd replace them with good ones when they broke and gosh darnitt if they never broke, but actually flew around the World with me, came to China with me, get used in the gym every day or every other day... and are still just going. Really makes you wonder what the 'cheap brands' do so differently that their 20 buck piece of crap earbuds outlive several pairs of air pods pro.
Bought them and took them back as well. Kept falling out, even after I tried all the buds. Bass wasn’t as an increase as advertised. Just wasn’t worth the hype or sound. You’re 100% right on why I returned them as well.
Researched a lot and took a leap of faith, first time i paired, the sound was very low, i got disappointed and wanted to return it, just before packing it back, I tried again and surprisingly these were loud and loved the sound quality (maybe firmware update occured), I have used Jabra Elite 65t, Bose sound sport, presently have QC35 ii, these definitely sound better than Jabras, at par Bose sound sport (better bass), tried Airpods pro 2, these are definitely better
My beats studio AirPods got them for Christmas but the sound quality is not good at all and not even any base it sounds like dollar store earbuds is there a mode or sum shit I put them in or something cause this is insane😊
As far as open ear earbuds go, which would you recommend as the best ones to get. I don't have much money, I'm currently in a nursing program to become an LVN, and I'm strongly considering getting a new pair of ear buds. Hate the in ear style due mostly to ear-wax. ugh. messy. XD. If you could recommend maybe your top 3 options for open ear earbuds, I would greatly appreciate it. As you mentioned in this video, you have tons of experiance, and, I appreciate the nice things, and will pay the money, but then I keep them and use them until they die. Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
hey! First of all thank you for your service as a nurse - truly so grateful for people like you Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, are you saying you want over ear headphones (like the AirPods Max style) or on in ear headphones that kind of just rest on your ears like the regular AirPods?
I haven’t returned them since I think they work great for listening to podcasts and audio books however when I’m listening to music I’m definitely sticking with my galaxy buds. The bass on these is simply underwhelming. And the treble isn’t that clear either. They lack the powerful sound that other earbuds I’ve tried have. I wish they had a function similar to Sony where you could change which ranges are being stressed.
@Yash O not galaxy buds, their anc does literally nothing, pixel buds are okay i guess but their case is still trash lmao literally nothing is beating airpods pro, and now that airpods 3 have improved majorly their sound quality i don’t know about “any sound products”… even these beats lmao 150 and you get good anc and sound quality? Not even your walmart tws buds are beating these lmao
@Yash O There’s not a single phone on this earth “built for music lovers” airpods pro literally SMOKE any galaxy buds lmao and with their non existing anc and bad fit you’re better off throwing your money in the trash… same exact thing
I got these for Christmas and I like them a lot but I just can’t get the audio quality better I wish there was a way to adjust the treble and bass or something

I also returned them because of the poor sound quality. Tried a bunch of different tips and fits but they sounded flat and lifeless no matter what I did. Was really disappointing after all the glowing reviews. Got some Sennheiser CX buds instead and they're in a whole other league.
I just got them today and was a little underwhelmed by the sounds, I saw many reviews and read many as well hyping them up but was expecting a little more bass and louder sound honestly. I’ll probably return them and go forth with buying Sennhieser’s CX aswell.
Also me personally got annoyed over the beats earphones because every time I wanted to adjust them it just ends up pausing the music and I just feel like it shouldn’t be that way like I said the AirPods Pro is just a better choice and just have it beat in every category except for like the price in my opinion I do feel like the AirPods pro have a better fit to them well for me ears at least after changing the ear tips on them to a smaller size they might feel like they could come out but for me it just doesn’t I’ll say if your looking for a top tire earphone that’s not that expensive these are one of the best choices since I got these for 179.99 which wasn’t even a 100 more but it’s your decision 🤷🏽♂️
galaxy buds hurts my ears (MAINLY) that and I've already tried 2 idk if I'm just not taking care of them as good but I feel like the galaxy buds mainly the pro they break fast.. Didn't try the buds live . kinda wish I did.

So does it seem like it's broken??
the reason they keep falling out of your ear is because they use the twist mechanism you need to twist them in for them to go in properly
what i like from this review is that i am wearing and using a beats flex and i agree when she said that it always fall whenever you smile or laugh or simply talking..i think its same in buds
I fixed the audio problem with an equalizer on my phone. I don't have many complaints after I did that. Although I don't think the target market for these buds would know how to equalize an IEM (fancy term for ear bud). But if you do know how to equalize in software..... they're ight.
She is special
My power beats pro are almost unusable, the left one cuts out music to the point to wear you can only use the right. Half the time they do not pick up a charge while in the case either
lots of blessings from India 😊
loved the seamless transition at 3:45, it's always a pleasure to see and get amazed by the new presentation techniques.

I have both AirPods Pro 2 and Beats Studio Buds. I’ve been testing them to see which one I want and I agree with you. Also, the sound on the Beats are too airy to me and not as full as my AirPods. I will be giving my Beats to my mother. Thanks for this video.
EDIT:
And I did miss the AirPods Pro thing of effortlessly moving between my iPad and my iPhone. BSB doesn’t do that.
People need to upgrade the ear tips . For the 100% sound experience 😊. Plus better grip comfort. I recommend Spinfit CP360 (XL).
I think I’m going to upgrade to someone better since I’m not too happy with the sound quality either.
yea the case is really easy to use if you know left from right...you just throw them in from 1 foot away and they just suck right in man
Sound quality on the beats studio bud is so annoying, well they make some weird sound like wind/buzz/static when you stop the Sound or music that you're playing. I just got them and I don't know if I should return them or not. I'm still thinking about it.
@@dontatmebro- actually Raycons are my fav. I love my raycons. about that noise, I have figure out what was wrong.
All right, I was *NEVER* here!
Hello @NothingButTecj do you think that these are better then the beats fit pro and I like the design of the studio buds so is it good for hip hop music
Amazing review, I really enjoyed the presentation and flow ❤
Thanks so much!
I wore the beats and they stayed in pretty good when i was doing handstands
The maximum volume sounds like just above half way up on the normal volume scale I was used to with the headphones that came with my Huawei phone
😒
That “bae” era made me want to stay in my room.
🤣🤣🤣✨
😂😂😂😂😂🐵😂😂😂😂😂
I can't find a review of the studio buds vs beats flex! Compared to the sound... Beats flex where great sounding earbuds. Now I'm in the market for something new.
These sound so good, which is why I’m so bummed out that they don’t fit my ear well
imagine not changing the eq settings and thats the reason you sent them back xD
The only thing that is missing from the beats is loud bass and thats a dealbreaker for me
For the full price they aren’t the best, but now they have been out for 7 months they are so worth it with all these discounts.
Bruh.. she barely placed them in her ear.
I am using 30$ tws made by Indian brand Boat and its great in every way...i really hope the brand grow to expand to more markets...
Considering she blatantly lied about the "remove buds to pause" feature being an "Apple only" feature, it's funny you said she's honest lol.
If they fit better and had more settings thatd be great but beats definitely sound better no matter how you look at it
I’d have to disagree with the audio quality. I thought they where comparable. But they really where not comparable to me, I also had some Bluetooth problems with them. But my complaint isn’t in the audio quality category. I thought it sounded great
I ordered the Beats studio buds because I heard they have a lot of bass. But if they don't sound that great I may try to return them.
I bought it yesterday and the sound waves it transmits are annoying for my brain as if it make a sounds that contains lots of ssssss
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Maybe it depends on what genre of music you listen to but Beats sound great to me. Best sounding earbuds I've ever had.
I've found that you almost have to just let the earbuds go when u have them over the spot they go in the case, the magnets are string enough that it just pulls them straight in where they need to go
Tried them; there was distorted audio for the two pairs I tried 😤😡 I quit! I’ll save on a deal for apple airpods!
i bought them uz my airpods pros after 2 years stared to have some problems, i absolutley love the small amount of xtra base in them, but HOLY F i miss the H1 chip, weird is that the beats flex for 50$ has the w1 chip
@@Omgkhii I had that once but since then they’ve been fine
I also am dissatisfied with the studio beats buds, I only use the right one at work and overtime i notice that the right one has sounded used up, now when I use both of them the left one sounds better then the right one.
The short time of owning mine I had to take them in and they had to replace both pods already I’m kind of on the fence
I wish I would’ve watched this video before I purchased these beats, I agree and I feel like I want to return mine now too. Great video! 👍🏾
Thank you so much and OY sorry!!!!
I would too but I got mine for 15.49
I’ve had a problem with mine screeching, I’ve had two pair and i love em but still damn
Honestly they probably never had a great seal for you. I find them much more fun and “colorful” to listen to than my airpods 2 or airpods pro. They sound crispy and punchy. They add that punch in low bass that airpods pro are missing.
Fr
i got a beat up pair of beats for free they fell out of a car, i cleaned them up used them for 2 years.
I got studio buds and they work so good
Beats have been the best earbuds i have got
I don’t know about the falling out in here why talking and stuff? I do a lot of talking when I have these in or just smile, or even just working out and jump roping and these have never fell out of my ear or doing any of those. Maybe I would try switching the size of that earbud covers I mean these probably won’t be forever in person but he’s definitely are great headphones and I think people try to compare them too much to the actual AirPods then actually taking them for what they are
I personally love my beats I think the differences between air pods and beats is price and apple keeping they're products very close together
I returned mines as well. Glad I wasn’t alone
Why did you return them?
Beat studio buds are great earbuds are if you can't see that then that's on you. alot of people love beats so yeah ..
Thank you for being honest.
I didn't know they didn't have volume control. Like what was the rationale behind that?
which one is better? Beats studio bud or Sony wf1000xm4 ? music quality is more important for me.
We need a review on the nothing ear 1s when you get your hands on a pair!
Yes!!! Will review it as soon as I get my hands on it!
Do u know if I could make them louder bc they really arent ?
4:00 this is what's called a sound stage.
Yup:)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
hey! First of all thank you for your service as a nurse - truly so grateful for people like you
Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, are you saying you want over ear headphones (like the AirPods Max style) or on in ear headphones that kind of just rest on your ears like the regular AirPods?
P
I haven’t returned them since I think they work great for listening to podcasts and audio books however when I’m listening to music I’m definitely sticking with my galaxy buds. The bass on these is simply underwhelming. And the treble isn’t that clear either. They lack the powerful sound that other earbuds I’ve tried have. I wish they had a function similar to Sony where you could change which ranges are being stressed.
Galaxy buds? The anc on those is a complete joke lmao
Guys quit whining... headphones are better anyways
I got the beats pro for Christmas I returned them for the same reason you did.
I'm used to bose they're way better
Kap… the sound is good depending on what you listen to. I listen to rap and I’m from Florida. These beats aren’t bad at all for the price.
What does Florida have to do with anything? 😂
Everyone is different but i disagree the Beats studiobuds are 10 times more Dynamic and Bass rich then airpods pro and i have regular airpod and airpods pro and the beatstudiobuds and a use the for music 🎵 airpods pro to go out and talk airpods 2 on the house but everyone got different opinions and i respect em
@@ElfrijoleroJ Stock sound is a little flat so be sure to boost the treble a bit when you get them. They really shine then
I am also disappointed in the sound quality. Not what I was expecting.
u shud try the beat pro fit has some of the features u were saying these lack pausein when u take them out and connecting to different devices
