Had a very bad experience with two RME BBF PRO units. RME costumer service made fun of me and reply : "How can we help you....with or without the RME BBF PRO..." Careful where you put your money into...
@@markasmichmel My unit was jumping up in volume for no reason and i contacted RME for a service solution. I asked them why they said (....with or without the RME BBF PRO) and they replied : "We don't know why we said that". Thomann sent me another unit but older and much more used and with the same problem. RME took their side and told me that the unit, although has a serial number older then mine, it was new and stood in a shop unsold for a longer time, so i could be happy with it. But they did not knew that Thomann was saying to me that the second unit was used. So RME lied to me. I sold the second unit.
@@markasmichmel Same problem ! There are forums that presents the same problem. I've sold the second unit and bought a UAD Apollo X6...so happy with it !
My RME BBF PRO jumped up in volume. Send it to Thomann to service. They send me another unit, a used one, much older one, judging from the serial number, but the same problem. When i started to record hoping i will capture the issue, i recorded in stead how the play back volume is not linear up and down when you rotate the volume knob likewise up and down. I will send the video to the RME and Thomann. Never happened with my old unit on same usb port.
I think it's just enough to make one post on their official UA-cam channel like you did,or contact them personally or trough Thomann from where you bought it,but don't post everywhere like its a common issue.i have mine and it works perfectly since March 2018.Maybe you had a bad luck,I hope they will fix that for you.
I sold it. I never received an straight, professional answer from RME. Only : "we don't know what was that", "we don't see anything wrong", "it's a normal behaviour", etc. but also ironic answers like : "how can we make you happy, with or without the RME Bbf Pro" and "we don't know why we said that". After they reply that they never encounter such an issue before, i gave them a link to a website where another RME BBF PRO user was complaining about the same issue. After that they reply : "It was a singular case back in 2015". Thomann (the seller) has a warranty clause on their site wich says that in case of a defective product they will replace it with another product with same or lower specs. Some guy on the Kemp Amp forum send back to Thomann a 1400 euros amp for repair and received a 100 euro one instead. I got from Thomann another unit, an older and much used one and had the same issue. From Thomann i got the same treatment like the guy with the 1400 euros amp, like i was a clown beging for my money back. They blocked me from their youtube channel so i can't post any messages regarding their behaviour and warranty traps. I see you are german by name and i tell you that those companies behave better with german clients and very bad with clients outside Germany because it's hard for us to sue them or notify germane customer protection institutions.

@@tonigeol291 sorry to hear. How is the second unit you got ?

@@tonigeol291 thank you for replying, something worth considering... was thinking about either the Apollo or the RME babyface
It really kills the appeal for me when you have to plug wires in on every side of the interface lol
That’s why nobody buys it it’s always in stock it’s not the interface itself but the design. RME needs to change that/
My RME Babyface Pro jumps up in volume. Sent it to Thomann for service and waiting....
GREAT VIDEO Спасибо, мой друг I am buying one this week. Do you have any concerns or issues to speak about?
Have you used Motu or motu 624?
Отличное видео! Еще бы на русском ты продублировал
does this need separate power adapter for supplying phantom power to microphones?
No it does not

WHAT A SHAME THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE COMFORTABLE WITH AN ENGLISH SPEAKER
Geez, give the guy a break. And do you realize RME is a German company? You need to get out more.
