Fun fact: If you put Unsummon on right click you can highlight your iron golem and view inventory to see what item you made him from. Just don't right click and accidentally unsummon him. Also, since you're not running much, just switch to walking. That way you can blood warp a lot and not worry about accidentally clicking somewhere to move and losing your armor by running. Walking is safe, a little slower than running, but worth it in dense areas.
Oh, and this is just basically just to spark some conversation, but one thing I think a lot of summoners are sleeping on is Kalan's Legacy offhand. Yeah it's pretty wimpy stat-wise, but it opens up the use of an a5 bash merc who is an absolute murderer - he 1 shots probably like half the mobs in the game, attacking and moving at an incredible speed. He is my top damage dealer by a long shot, and obliterates the output of the a1 rogue even if he does get caught in the clutter a bit. One thing I'm not educated about are skeleton attack speed breakpoints, so if the difference between (let's use average values here) level 13 fanat and level 9 hits something, that might be a thing. Just wanted to give a shout out to Kalan's though as a totally viable, and IMO extremely strong endgame shield (it's what I use on my 97 physical summoner). -Hotsauce
Thanks, m8! My favorite as well. I actually ran this same build in S4 and since I didn’t make S4 content and liked the build so much, I decided to do run this again..haha. I also really like the WD in D3.
I also subscribe to the lazy necro single curse, but I use physical only. The benefits of getting 10 curse mastery and decrepify are quite marginal for the tax of having to manage two curses all the time. I think lower resist is a stronger case for you as a mage user, but I am definitely a proponent of keeping it simple as well. Contrary to that (lol), have you considered a single point in revive to complicate your life a bit more? With all the +skills it becomes quite strong, especially since you took desecrate. I actually played full physical skeletons until I discovered their power, and I now use eternity (+6 extra revives) instead of leoric. If you were willing to consider your run with a Travincal clear to start (which is pretty fun to clear with lots of interesting drops) you might be surprised by how much added power you would get. That said, I totally understand wanting to jump into a map immediately. I do believe 1 point in revive would benefit you greatly though, even just picking up random creatures from whatever map you're running. Great video, I love your content, and I love how versatile the summoner is. So cool to see the things other people do with it. Cheers! -Hotsauce
I'm about to hit 96, so I'm going to try putting a point into revive. My routine is usually map, eldritch, shenk, pindle, trav, and then sometimes cows. Thanks, m8!
@@Spanxxxy if you take a tiny step in any direction it will "release" them and they will flood out, but yeah, I did have to get smarter about my warping. I try to teleport far ahead enough so that I have a full screen of monsters both ahead and behind me, then I give my squad some time to chew through them all... then I teleport ahead again to repeat the scenario. So basically I teleport like 4-6 times at once instead of 1 time constantly. I bet you can find some success with just stepping away a pixel after a teleport though.
Thanks, bro! Once you in maps they tend to snowball. I probably have 150 T3 maps on a tab atm. It’s nice that maps can’t brick anymore. I think they made that change in S4, so I slam every map.
Running pretty much the same setup. From experimenting around with skills, I can really say that the 5 into golem mastery are just such a big quality of life. To get those skills, I just use a desecrate wand. Also using dual curse setup which is nicer IMO. I find throne to be the easiest T3 map, so I think the summoner build really shines in Marketplace, Canyon, Cows lvl etc.
Thanks for sharing man! Daaaamn I have wasted so many skill points. At least now I know what to do. Unrelated question: 5:36 did you install another mod for the multiple tabs in the stash? Or there is an option to activate them in PD2? Thanks!
You're wecome! I forget when the additional stash tabs were added, but I think it was around S4 or S5. I believe they're automatic if you're playing online. I'm not sure how to configure if you play SSF in conjunction with plugy.
Definitely viable. Any combination of might/fanat should get the job done, such as holding the beast and wearing a tmight, etc. I just personally like A1's vigor..feels smoother. I started with A5 might merc in the beginning though.
I dont get the Iron Golem, I had one made with a mage slayer then save and quit game and next game he was gone. How do you get it to stay alive between games ? Also side note I like to put 1 point into revive just for an easy 3 more minions
My iron golem still dies if I'm spacing and sometimes I don't even notice it happen. Without BO the last time I spawned one he had about 2800 life. Certain bosses kill the golem easy and amp+might or fanat mobs can wipe him out easily as well. As long as you're restacking with blood warp it should be safer. I might give that revive a go, because I should level in the next couple days. Thanks!
20 conc + 10 fanat vs 8 might + 15 fanat is okay with me to receive vigor. The game is just more enjoyable when I can walk to pick things up or open chests without feeling clunky. It also allows summons to reposition faster. I also would never prebuff for any build, especially considering how frequent resummoning occurs throughout.
@@Spanxxxy Well you only use boneflame to summon, then switch to Um'd Kalans for vigor. And you also get 8 Might on the Pride merc too, why wouldn't you. All you trade is 5 Fana vs 20 conc, which is not even a comparison. The full stack then is 20 conc+10 fana+8 might+6 vigor+defiance(def+pdr for telestomping)
This is cool.I'm currently running warriors+mages+revive, but this look pretty cool as well. Your gear is quite a lot better than mine, but not by miles. How is your dps in a map like this you think?
Thanks, m8! I haven't tried ubers at all in any season really. I've done a ton of uber ancients though this season, but definitely prefer doing it with at least one other friend. Pretty sketchy solo..haha.
I'm not sure what the portal builder is, so I can't say. I still have this nec from S5 though, so I just hopped into a game to check. Archer and mage damage looks essentially the same, but it actually looks like they buffed warriors. My warriors are showing 5800 now.
Dude... just get 10 CM and use Amp+LR or Amp+Weaken when youre doing stuff And yes unfortinetly current prices in this state of the ladder for Fhr All res is 5-6 and it's currently normal price and it's not overpriced since there are not many people playing PS Succubus have Physical damage not elemental, that's why they curse with either Amp or "Armor Break", other special curse from enemies like Baal is Blood Mana
Might have to take a second and get used to quick cast to give this a go. I mainly don’t like altering key binds, plus I don’t have a customizable mouse. Appreciate the feedback!
you can play summon necro more than 1 way my guy, let the man play how he wants to. Also it is over priced and it has nothing to do with the amount of people playing. By that logic a ber rune should be 6 hr
@@Spanxxxy it's fun but blizzard refuses to make the inventory space larger like comon now that's an ez fix I should not have to carry a damn cube around

Thank you for sharing your high end summoner gameplay. It's my favorite D2 build, and I love how many variations there are in PD2

Hadn't tested before. Just tried a 200% royal crypts and was averaging about 110-120k. Peaked at 130k. I assume would be higher in a denser map.

In the portal builder the skellys don't get anywhere even remotely close to 3k a hit how did you do that or have they nerfed them since that season
