My vacuum just goes on the same pattern ☹☹
It’s a easy fix. I wish I could show you but we sold our home last October and our new home doesn’t have a pool. I can tell you how to solve your problem. Get a rope. Tie it to the hose about 2 to 4 feet from where it attaches to your skimmer. Anchor that rope to a solid object or to a yard stake. By moving the hose like this it will change the pattern. You will need a slimmer to attach the hose. Some above ground pools doesn’t have skimmers. I believe all inground pools have skimmers.
This is one awesome item. Sure beats walking all around with a skimmer. Don't have a pool anymore and don't miss all the work either and expense. Thanks for sharing. ATB

Easy assembly and operation it does not get hung up on my stairs, it's cleaning pattern is more random and thorough than my old unit. It works wonderfully in my 24'x52" above ground pool. I give it 5 stars

I got hose leading to barracuda attached( at surface of water)to something about in center of pool....the end( thats in center of pool)of a 8 foot pole attached to a cinder block (thats on side of pool walkway).baracuda cleans entire pool now.lol.now it never gets stuck in one spot

I am having a hard time getting mine to "suck". it doesn't have restriction into the water flow but it will vibrate when sucking for a while and i come back and its not anymore but just slowing moving along the bottom... any suggestions?

The round one came with my regular vacuum hose. I use it instead of the one that cane with the zodiac. But that’s because I lost the one that came with the zodiac.
What is it called?
Do you have a sand filter? If so, do you put the filter on “waste”? My vacuum seems to work best on “waste”, but it’s such a pain having to refill the pool. Can I use one of these with my filter on “filter”?
I do have a sand filter. I don’t send it straight to waste. I keep an eye on the pressure gauge on the sand filter to backwash the sand. 👍😁

How do I get the air out of the pipes
When you place tha hose in the skimmer did you turn off the pump or keep it on and then place it on? Everytime I try I get air in it and the pump starts sounding weird
You gotta keep the pump running. Take the hose and stick it over the return nozzle to push out all the air. Then put your hand over the hose end. Run over to the skimmer and put the hose over the skimmer return.
I want one of those. I have the neighbors tree over the pool.

I have an above ground pool and the same zodiac thingy. I wanted to drain the water but unsuccessful at getting that suction at the other end of the pipe (like the way you were doing at 2:37). Any tips?

does it go up the sides?
It depends. It does go up on the sides in my pool. I think it’s because my pool is curved where it transitions from the bottom to the sides.

I think people get a pool cleaner to get the leaves out. I don't see a point in buying that if you still want to clean the leave out by hand.
That’s true. I didn’t use mine for the leaves. I used it for the particles that settle on the bottom like dead spiders and other bugs. Lol.
Ok cause mine is the same and it does perfect with large leaves.

Uh…return jet??? Didn’t say what that was for so… Never owned a pool. Owner left this thing. Stuck it on the jet…no clue why…then stuck the hose on that plate thing and stuck it in skimmer. Nothing…😡
The return jet pushes all the air out of the hose so when you connect it to the return skimmer the pump won’t suck in much air and damage your pump
