As an admin, like most tech it takes a while to get your users to use all these tools. Many still are reluctant to move from MS Office and other tools. This can be an issue for productivity and in some cases security, as some users are using Outlooks as old as 2003...
That was really great presentation and I subscribe after just watching this video. I'm a Workspace user for just personal business and projects as I'm retired so no business use. Over the last year I've been moving away from Windows and moving to used Chromeboxes which I've upgraded with more Ram and SSD space but not sure the upgrades were really necessary as I use Drive cloud space mainly now. The Chromeboxes are fast and uncluttered and can drive 4K screens, great for media PC's as they resume where they were when turned off. I have a music and movie collection on CD and DVD and over time I've been ripping them to MP3 and MP4 but with local storage. The ripping and cover art scanning is a bit laborious though. I started to move my files from local to Drive storage which works ok but I found I was rapidly filling up my paid for Drive storage. I've started to experiment with making a private rudimentary three page website in Space to index my collection and provide easy access. But now I've hit on the idea of using UA-cam to house my media files and associated thumbnails which I index in alphabetical order. The thumbnails are embedded and they link to the media. I use a free cloud video editor to convert my MP3s to MP4s prior to UA-cam upload. It is all copyrighted material of course but by making my uploads private to me only UA-cam are permitting them. Some of my uploads are downloaded UA-cam videos which I want to be sure of keeping, ie the original uploader might delete them. My UA-cam downloader app also strips out the adverts which is a big plus so my personal music and movie jukebox is advert free and available on any device of mine anywhere with a WiFi connection. I get the decent UA-cam player and all media storage with transparent backup, all free. Unfortunately I still have to use Windows for ripping, scanning, and specialised art and graphics creation softwares which I doubt will ever find their way to Chrome .
Excellent video presentation, and very informative on the Google Workspace suites. Thank you! The price point per user on a monthly basis is very reasonable for such ingrated workspace tools. However, security is a big issue when using these cloud-base tools since the unencrypted data is updated to the cloud right away. This is a deal breaker for me. My current process is old-school and a bit safer by editing the files locally, encrypting the files b4 storing them on the cloud. Yes, I will have to pull the files from the cloud, unencrypt them with my own AES-256 key b4 edit them locally on my PC. Remember to empty those trashcans, caches and cookies periodically, and b4 any 5+ minutes of inactivity.
Hey 👋 , I am getting a lot's of knowledge/information by this particular video, As a student it's a good way to manage and prioritise the my school as well as my personal work ..... Thankyou so much! ❤
The transitions, edits, and animations on these videos are really amazing! Would it be possible if I could know what software was used? I'm starting a pressure washing business and I would like to incorporate excellent edits like these into my marketing.
Hi! Some of the videos I used are the official Google videos that they made to promote the products. They probably used Adobe After Effects to create them. I used Adobe Premier Pro to edit this video.
We are glad you liked the video! We haven't created any videos about how to use google tools to create a CRM. Currently, you can use Google Sheets or Apps Script. Sheets is very basic, and Apps Script is very advanced. Google Tables is a new app that is in beta that can be used as a CRM and Project Manager. I would give it a try. Otherwise, if you are looking for a CRM, I recommend Zoho CRM. We have plenty of videos about it on this channel.
Hi, Great video with a lot of good information. could you kindly advise the software tools\apps used to create the video animation as it is so satisfying to watch.
It depends on the type of policies your employer has set up. They can't access your emails (if they do you will get notified), but they can use the app Google Vault to store all your email in there, and they can search for emails that you sent or received. Not sure about the browser history.
Unfortunately, you can't pick custom colors. But you do have the option to choose white, as well as use some background images. Are you using Keep on a mobile device? If so, are you using dark mode?
@@zypherhd White is not available because you are using dark mode. I think you can change the Google Keep settings so it doesn't load in dark mode. There are many note taking apps. You can try Zoho Notebook that is free.
Thanks! I'm not very familiar with Apps Script, but I'm pretty sure you can set up the automation you mentioned. You can also use a connector like Zapier to do the same (and avoid using Apps Script).
I'm glad the video was helpful. Google Tasks is technically an add-on. They do have a mobile app, but there's no dedicated website. Also, it's not listed on the official Google Workspace site as an app.
No, Google Workspace doesn't have an app similar to Microsoft Access. Google developed an app called Tables, which would do a lot of that Access can do. The app is still in beta, so it's not included in Workspaces yet. Here's their YT Channel: www.youtube.com/@TablesfromArea120byGoogle You can also try Google Cloud.

Sir 2 days ago i cancelled my Google workspace free trial subscription can i subscribe again the free trial with the same domain? Kindly reply me i need your guidance.
Hello. As far as we have information, Google does not allow you to conduct the free trial more than once with the same domain, even if you use different email addresses.
Thanks for noticing it! Actually, there's a UA-cam setting called "Allow automatic chapters and key moments" that I turned on. UA-cam created the chapters and didn't include "sites" for some reason. The rest are pretty on point.
When you create a Google account, you have access to Google Photos. So, if you use Google Workspace, it means that you have a Google account, which includes Photos. But it's not listed under "Workspaces" because there are no additional features added. It's just the standard Google Photos app.
Classroom is included in "Google Workspace for Education", which is different from "Google Workspace". This video is about the business app suite, not the education app suite.
This video is focused on the apps listed on the Google Workspace website (workspace.google.com/intl/en-419/features/). Google Tasks is not listed there, that's why we didn't mention it. Also, the only way to open google tasks is through Gmail or Calendar, so it's more like an add-on.

You're right! It is not easy to get everyone onboard with a new app. That's why it's really important to have an implementation plan.

Onboarding rollouts + slow conversions
The division can cause problems though
It will be easier to get everyone onboard when Google's apps are comparative to Microsoft's. As of July 2023, this hasn't happened yet.

Google’s apps are in no way a competent replacement for MS software. Clunky and not user friendly in my opinion. I hate it. Specially GMail.
Used both. Google version feels like a less capable version of the office suite, but MS cost/subscription models are a hard pass for SMBs.
