I once had to go through a laptop one of my friends who passed away from complications during surgery. He had so many pictures of corn on his hard drive, not "adult corn", just 200 GB of the same picture of a random picture of a corn on the cob he had saved on to his computer, the only other file was a text file that read:
" if you are reading this, the surgery failed and I'm dead, (my name here) I know how much you don't like corn so enjoys the pictures you a hole and live a good life.
P.s. delete my browser history please before you show my family."
He was my best friend and I still miss how we used to troll each other to this day.
This is sad but funny, at least he went out trolling till his last breath

I found stuff on my mom's computer after she died. I discovered that when we were dealing with CPS, CPS literally wrote a report about how my parents r**ed me and my mom was a dr*g addict, which is all lies. My parents never ever touched me in an inappropriate way, I don't know how they came to the conclusion that my parents were r**ng me. Literally zero evidence. My mom needed a bunch of medication to stay alive because she had lots of health issues, so there was a lot of prescription medications. Apparently having prescription medications automatically means she's a dr*g addict. They asked zero questions, they just looked around the house and opened the cabinet to find the prescription medication. It makes me very angry. I knew CPS was bs before this but it horrified me once I found out the full extent through her computer.

It really irritates me when I describe abuse I've gone through from my grandparents (had to live with them temporarily) and people ask me "well why don't you call the cps/cops?" I've pretty much found that 90% the time CPS is unreliable and makes bad decisions. I'm sure there are good people who work for CPS but most of them aren't actually good people or lots of them make bad calls that cause more harm than good. I miss my mother every day. I wish she could be with me.
@@hehehehe1955 It sucks. I've dealt with rough things. She was a wonderful human being too who just happened to have lots of medical issues, which ultimately caused tons of problems.
It's probably that you don't remember because it was before you were 3 yrs old which is when you start to remember things

I have a story.
It all starts when my older sibling had some of his friends over at my (or his) house. Me, my older sibling and three or more of his friends were there to play. And they were really annoying. My older sibling alone, was only a bit annoying, but when he had his friends over, he would be top tier, the most annoying person in at least a 50 mile radius. My brother would slap me, hit me with objects, annoy me, you name it. But one particular day, I got my revenge. Sort of. So we were in a Dungeons and dragons session in the house. His friends were screwing around and teasing me. Lots. But at one certain point, I got pissed off so much. So he and his friends were arguing with me over something (I can't remember what), and one of they were grabbing me, pushing me and fighting with me. Like usual. Bu this time, something different happened. One of my older siblings friends pushed my chair over pretty hard, but I landed on a carefully put beanbag that was for some reason next to where we were playing. That friend of his that pushed me over got up and tried dragging me out of the whole room. I was about 11 or so at the time so I couldn't really fight back. I couldn't just try escaping, I was already about to get beaten up or something. The only thing I though of doing would work. Kicking my older siblings friend straight into the crotch. I didn't do it the normal way, leg just swinging up, I did it the jack*** way. Turning my leg sideways instead of not turning at all, I kicked him in the crotch as hard as I could. I jumped up, and then saw him, tearing up on the ground while my older sibling and his other friends were yelling at me and trying to attack me. I ran away because like I said, I was like 10 or 11 at the time. That was the first time I really felt like I got revenge. I don't know who the enemy was in this story, but I certainly hope it wasn't me.

150 pages on how much he hated his wife. It sounds much like a John Cleese-Eric Idle skit. The thing that makes it a skit isn't the 150 pages, but the table of contents. I'm half shocked there wasn't a bibliography at the back.

As a lil guy who temporarily studied the brain I can confirm that amnesia is confusing to understand but the best way I can describe it is like :
Wolverine origins.. if the brain paths that the memories take are destroyed through trauma etc the memories can’t take them and are destroyed or completely cut off from the rest of the brain

This is for the reader, Alton Brown is a celebrity chef that has a lot of biochemical knowledge on why certain foods taste the way they do, cook the way they do, and often is the narrator/announcer for the American version of Iron Chef. The included link is a clip from his Good Eats show, where he talks about potato chips (not hot chips for you Aussies, and you Brits would call them crisps, also remember, since the show was written and filmed with an American audience in mind, most of the measurements Alton uses for both ingredients and temperature are going to be imperial/Fahrenheit). Thoughts: maybe the Father that had cancer wasn't catfishing but a transwoman? Many transpeople try their gender on the internet or just keep this at the internet, because they feel not safe to tell someone in real life. I mean we will never know cause this human is dead. Hubby was a tech and after getting a cetified letter from the lawyer he was asked to crack the passwords so the laptop owners brother could get in touch with all his friends for the funeral.
My dad passed when I was a teen and his gf had gone through the family computer to make sure there wasn’t anything left that my brother and I shouldn’t see. She missed a few. Nothing super awful, just a few pictures of him standing sideways “showing off”. Not something a kid ever wants to see.
Not a dead guy. Wifes step-dad moved out had been divorced from mother for years just lived together out convenience.
Left behind two shoe boxes full of photographs. At first, it was confusing nothing but feet. Subjects unaware they were being photographed. Look closer they were my wife's, his stepdaughters feet, taken during family functions. My mind flashed to the creep always taking pictures seemingly innocently during parties. I laughed out loud didn't know what to make of it. This guy would beat off to my wife's feet everyday. Because of the bizarre subject matter I didn't even get mad.

There was also a lot of old US coins, some coin rolls, a very small pistol, like it could fit in your pocket and the ammunition. Plus what we needed to find which was the Will.
Yeah, that was the highlight of that day.

While I do like this narrator's voice, there are a couple "accents" I can't stand. A few videos ago it was an obnoxious "Texan/country/south" accent. This time it was the creepy hacker voice for the first story.
Those two in particular stand out because I couldn't focus on the story.
Edit: Basically if this narrator would stop doing such obnoxious voices that strain their voice, I'd appreciate it.
I think you should just stick to reading the stories in your normal voice as it was kind of annoying and grating to hear such accented English side by side with normal english
