    one thing i love about him is tht he takes so much time on his pages. a lot of artists get the job done but u can spot mistakes. but jim lee takes so much time on his work to make it have no mistakes and look as best as possible.

    todd mcfarlane came up with the idea for spawn, but it was Greg Capullo and Angel Medina who were the artists really responsible for the badass look of the comics.

    In that time you've killed 1,000 pigeons you would have picked up the skills to draw just as good ;).

    That's because he put a lot of time into it there's nothing supernatural about him if you wanna be good at something you gotta devote yourself to it

    They likely draw them big and then reduce them when they put them into the comic. Not sure if always this big though they might generally get more than one panel from that large of drawing but i'm not sure about it.

    @6:45 Sleazeball Stan in action, asking artist to sign work for him (Stan) to sell. Sure, he employs a stable of artists, but usurpation is another matter. These guys need to lawyer-up.

    Man, you just need to keep practising, draw it over and over again.
    The guy didn't weak up so good he worked hard to get to this.

    He's a comic book artist not Leonardo DaVinci so need to do the work in a hurry so have some details but doesn't have to be perfect. If he puts the details of DaVinci in every panel they wouldn't be making money. Of course even DaVinci had some details wrong.

    If you kill 1000 pigeons you would become a profesionnal hunter
    You should draw 1000 sketches instead to get his skills

  • @dbkai75
    @dbkai75 15 років тому

    I HATE him.. How can he draw so good yet so easily... He draw that quickly while talking without any major error... I would kill 1000 pigeons to get his skills... xD

    Is Jim Lee related to Stan Lee?

  • @hydrolito
    @hydrolito 12 років тому

    Unless the guy is a shape shifter would have to somewhat resemble a human body with muscles such as biceps, triceps, etc. Maybe Charlie Brown, and some get away without it but most comic book art has more details. Powerpuff girls suck to me the artwork is terrible so yeah some get away with horrible artwork, but how many sell over 8 million an issue like this guy did with that Xmen comic.

  • @johnkon2810

    Stan Lee already stealing Jim Lee's artwork because he knows it's worth $$$$!
    This is an example of why Jim Lee left Stan and I don't blame Jim. Not .0000000001%!!!

  • @tripnititodars
    @tripnititodars 13 років тому

    @chroniclerofthe70s oh.. so you think you're better that jim lee? prove it... and one more thing... he is drawing on the spot, somewhat rushing the drawing.... and another thing... artists have their own styles, who the Fuk are you to tell something is wrong with an artist's work?

    I hate stan lees humor, its old and rude. Poor Jim, that has to be with him.
