@@nathan2552 He was winning way before that, because if you go rewatch the final 4 tribal, Spencer somehow decides it would be a great idea to tell Jeremy that if he takes Wentworth to the end, not only will he vote for her, but he will sway the entire jury and get them to vote that way as well. After he says that, go study the jury's reactions to that remark, because in their minds, that only confirms the perception they had of Spencer being an arrogant bully, so that cost him some votes before the final person even joined the jury, which is further proven at final tribal, when quite a few jurors make reference to that, with Kimmi even going so far as to say that she'll use Spencer's behavior as a way to teach her sons how not to be bullies. And as for Tasha, there was this perception of her being phony/fake and that she was just doing all of Jeremy's dirty work for him, so needless to say, she wasn't winning either. So yeah, baby story or not, the win was always going to be Jeremy's once Wentworth was voted out at final 4
Tbh terry wasn't making it far. He had a crappy social game (save for befriending Abi) and was already on the bottom of his swapped tribe. Without allies at the merge, he would've been targeted as a challenge threat.
@@jasperjones8401 Yea but that could also been seen as a reason to keep him longer plus he was 10 years older from when he played last time he wouldn’t be as dominant as he was in Panama. There would of been bigger challenge threats like Joe and Keith.

I really appreciate you acknowledging Kass' improvement this season. Kass has always been one of my favorite players, and I feel like she was one of the most up-front about saying "I made mistakes last time, and I need to learn from them if I want to do better.", yet no one ever seems to remember or acknowledge that improvement, partly since she did worse in terms of placement, due to never getting much of a chance to change her image come the merge. To see it acknowledged in such a way here is, therefore, heartwarming to me. Thank you.
Kass was really improved for the first half of the season. Then at some point she decided to throw all of that goodwill away and start attacking people for no reason.
@@jhornacek I wouldn't say it was for no reason, because she genuinely tried to mend fences with Tasha and Spencer, but the two of them were so unwilling to move past what happened in Cagayan and refused to entertain any thoughts of working with Kass
@@NYChica23 We literally saw Spencer work with Kass in Second Chances. He had a confessional where he said "Can I really trust Kass and work with her on this vote?" And he did. Also why should Spencer and Tasha have trusted Kass and worked with her in SC? She literally screwed them over at the merge in Cagayan for no reason other than her own ego. Based on how quickly Kass reverted to her Chaos Kass ways in SC, they made the right decision.

So when Trish approached her at merge with an offer to flip, she took it hoping that it would better her position in the game. And be honest, if Kass hadn't flipped and instead just allowed herself to be picked off at 6, would you then stop trashing her, or would you still bash her, only this time for not making a move when she had a chance to?

Spencer knew he was on the bottom but he said that he was with these 3 if there was a swap (or they made it intact to the merge). When they voted out J'Tia instead of Spencer, it was Kass and Tasha who made that choice. Kass was not on the bottom of that threesome. Then the swap happened and they stayed intact in the swap tribe with all the Beauties wanting to align with them and turn on the other Beauties. K/S/T realized that they were in a power position, not just within their own swap tribe but if they made it to the merge. There were numerous confessionals where the three of them said that they were strongly aligned. The *only* reason Kass flipped at the merge is because she couldn't stand that for this one merge vote, their alliance had to placate Sarah and do what she said because she was the swing vote. Tasha literally explained this to Kass after Kass was annoyed with Sarah in the merge episode. Kass could not understand that if they had just worked with Sarah for that one vote, right after that they could have immediately voted Sarah out next (which seemed to be their plan, based on what Spencer/Tasha said). If Kass hadn't flipped then the K/S/T alliance would have voted out Tony's group, then gotten rid of everyone else leaving a K/S/T final three. Spencer and Tasha have said post-season that this was their plan at the merge. Kass didn't understand that flipping at the merge would alienate her former alliance and make sure she would not get any of those 5 votes if she did make it to the end. Did you not see Spencer at FTC tell Woo that if he had just taken Kass to FTC instead of Tony he would have won in a landslide because that jury would never vote for Kass to win? (and there were plenty of nods from the jury when he said this) Cochran did the same thing on his first season, but he has said by that point he knew he couldn't win so he was just trying to make it as far as he could and align with "good people" and stick it to his former tribe who had bullied him for weeks. LOL at me "bashing" Kass for pointing out what the majority of Survivor viewers agree was a great move for Tony but a game-losing move for Kass.
It was a stroke of genius how simply Tash was able to save herself by going after Varner when she was swapped onto the bottom of the expansion tribe. Later at the final TC she was asked to give an example of how she’d earned her spot as a finalist and she said something lame about getting on Spencer’s good side. She should have talked about that instead.
Yes! Tasha had arguably one of the strongest pre-merge games of Cambodia, she just sorta faded out post-merge, she shouldve banked more on her pre-merge

Jeremy always has the most hilarious moments in his seasons. Trying to get Keith's attention to arguing with Tony about how many days are in two weeks. It's of course just another of many reasons why he's one of my all time favorite players.
This season is so good you missed so many good moments: stephen lying to abi at night challenge, kelly's jury question" pick a number 1-10", terry med evac, kimmi calling monica a snake and blindsiding her, kimmi's final 6 brilliant plan, witches coven, joe falling mid challenge, the reveal of who even was on this cast at live reunion, kimmis speech to spencer, kelly wentworth huge underdog all season!
Stephen confirmed on RHAP interviews that he did not lie to Abi. When he got to that station he picked what he thought was the right answer (which Abi copied from him and ran off) but then he reread the question and realized one of the other answers was correct. He was not trying to fake out Abi here.
I’m sorry Ik she gets a lot of hats this season... but when are we gonna give credit to Tashas pre merge game. It was phenomenal I just wish she didn’t drop off
I think she lacked the social game in Cambodia. She is good though and I know that she has the total package but she needs to have that genuine connection to help her win.
Just rewatched this season and was reminded what a STELLAR season it was. Cast, challenges, twists- loved it all. And Jeremy is one of my all time favorites!! Still so happy to see him win.
When Stephen is like sobbing in the confessional about the night before in the rain and his feet being all fucked up and stuff, I think it's like the only survivor moment that's ever made cry. Cagayan was the first season I watched and Steven is my favorite player, so I'm a little biased, but that was an amazing moment.
We need more Kieth Nale type players nowadays. It seems like almost every player on new seasons is a huge fan of the show and big gamer, but we've been missing some of those comedic presences that are just likable people.

I wouldn't say her 3rd time was any better than her first besides lasting a little longer. Many 3x players have faired better , Amanda has a better track record and she botched the f3 TWICE.
@@nathans.5911 Her third time playing was arguably her best lol, survived almost 10 straight tribal councils, was in the majority throughout the entire pre-merge running things with Wardog and was the last returnee standing on a season where the returning players were dead on arrival. Her stats speak for themselves.

She lasted long on w season ike this, yes having some premerge newbies starstruck w her but despite her game being a complete underdog story in second chances I personally feel she has a very Ciera Eastin-esque vibe and most don't admit it. She is kinda weak in challenges, Before you clock me because I believe she won immunity once at least as Ciera had that huge come from behind F5 immunity I think Kelly did too? But all in all, She had one HUGE moment . which happened in her season in which she was most prevalent and although a big move that furthered her and made her a survivor name to remember . It wasnt ALLLLL that remarkable (In Kellys case it was the majority was too fractured and not even a majority so they ALL WROTE KELLY lol just like Samoa w Russel but opposite name lol (that time a kelly was blindsided) Anyways and Ciera's we all know much less impressive move was did you hear. SHE VOTED OFF HER MOM .. who she clearly told much earlier that day . Which successfully got her 2 more votes , a rock draw and and surprise immmunity. But both Wentworth and Ciera come off as Gamebotty and its not like their claims to fame hadnt been done beforre? Russell quite literally pulled off Wentworths move in Samoa and he's hated. They have a similar trajectory in each season - Pre merge vote off once/ Early merge vote off once/ Late merge underog vote off once . I am not saying either are bad players but Kelly the main focus is kinda stiff and gamebot-esque all three of her times.. Still not a bad player but she didnt re invent the wheel as some say. Just as Joe is an Ozzy , Malcolm archetype knockoff. Except apparently hes a sleazebag in real life and thinks using the n word is ok
I really wish the final immunity challenge was on here. There was so much raw emotion from Jeremy and wentworth for two very opposite reasons and it was so intense to watch.
Just to let everyone know, Stephen has confirmed on RHAP that he was not trying to fake Abi out when she picked the wrong answer at that station when she heard him say the wrong answer. He said he thought (b) was the right answer (or whichever one it was) but then after Abi left he reread the question and realized it was (a). He said he was not trying to fool her.

This season was fantastic. Im a newbie and Im binging random seasons right now and I have seen about 7 so far, I had no idea this season was going to include returning members, and I LOVE Tasha. So this was just great. What a fantastic season man. Wow.
In my opinion the third best intro sequence after HvV and Pearl Islands. Jeff's seamless transition from narrating the two tribes trying to get the rice, to doing the intro fade out, was fantastic

jeremy's "i would do the same thing for you" to spencer after saving stephen was always great to me. even though he blindsided spencer, things like that actually do help you keep trust, especially because jeremy WOULD have done that to keep spencer via meat shield.

Just re-watched this season, and decided it's easily one of my favorites. They're all trying so hard, the game play is excellent, and the characters are really fun. I wish the women this season got more airtime and narrator editing, but the season is still top notch.

The buff colors were so beautiful this season I wish they did more of these color variations.

Kelly’s idol play is ICONIC she’s one of the greatest players to never win her and cirie are the GOATs
She's overrated imo. There are many more players that played better than her that didn't win.
@@aaronw7602 1/3 decent runnings. pre merge once I didnt even know who the girl was until her infamous idol play. I wouldn't say her 3rd time was any better than her first besides lasting a little longer. Many 3x players have faired better , Amanda has a better track record and she botched the f3 TWICE.
@@nathans.5911 Her third time playing was arguably her best lol, survived almost 10 straight tribal councils, was in the majority throughout the entire pre-merge running things with Wardog and was the last returnee standing on a season where the returning players were dead on arrival. Her stats speak for themselves.
@@stayinalive92 I get it. She was a returning player on a mixed season , aside from F v F that never goes well. She lasted long on w season ike this, yes having some premerge newbies starstruck w her but despite her game being a complete underdog story in second chances I personally feel she has a very Ciera Eastin-esque vibe and most don't admit it. She is kinda weak in challenges, Before you clock me because I believe she won immunity once at least as Ciera had that huge come from behind F5 immunity I think Kelly did too? But all in all, She had one HUGE moment . which happened in her season in which she was most prevalent and although a big move that furthered her and made her a survivor name to remember . It wasnt ALLLLL that remarkable (In Kellys case it was the majority was too fractured and not even a majority so they ALL WROTE KELLY lol just like Samoa w Russel but opposite name lol (that time a kelly was blindsided) Anyways and Ciera's we all know much less impressive move was did you hear. SHE VOTED OFF HER MOM .. who she clearly told much earlier that day . Which successfully got her 2 more votes , a rock draw and and surprise immmunity. But both Wentworth and Ciera come off as Gamebotty and its not like their claims to fame hadnt been done beforre? Russell quite literally pulled off Wentworths move in Samoa and he's hated. They have a similar trajectory in each season - Pre merge vote off once/ Early merge vote off once/ Late merge underog vote off once . I am not saying either are bad players but Kelly the main focus is kinda stiff and gamebot-esque all three of her times.. Still not a bad player but she didnt re invent the wheel as some say. Just as Joe is an Ozzy , Malcolm archetype knockoff. Except apparently hes a sleazebag in real life and thinks using the n word is ok

I really wish the final immunity challenge was on here. There was so much raw emotion from Jeremy and wentworth for two very opposite reasons and it was so intense to watch.
I love how Stephen just lost it on tv and started weeping just cause he was so obsessed with getting Joe out

Just to let everyone know, Stephen has confirmed on RHAP that he was not trying to fake Abi out when she picked the wrong answer at that station when she heard him say the wrong answer. He said he thought (b) was the right answer (or whichever one it was) but then after Abi left he reread the question and realized it was (a). He said he was not trying to fool her.

@@jhornacek and I think she had a good shot of winning that challenge if she actually... tried. She was just walking while everyone else was running, and cheated off of Stephen, and was STILL one behind.
@@zacharywright5625 I mean, there were so many people running around during that challenge, if you didn't know the answers it's a good strategy to follow a few people and copy off of their answers, especially someone smart like Stephen.

EDIT: All the good jobs, great moves, the appreciation for blindsides and bold game plays are one of the main reasons why we enjoy this show SO MUCH, and this season really showcased that

This season was fantastic. Im a newbie and Im binging random seasons right now and I have seen about 7 so far, I had no idea this season was going to include returning members, and I LOVE Tasha. So this was just great. What a fantastic season man. Wow.

This will always be one of my favorite seasons. For many reasons, but mostly because I picked the winner in the pre season.

In my opinion the third best intro sequence after HvV and Pearl Islands. Jeff's seamless transition from narrating the two tribes trying to get the rice, to doing the intro fade out, was fantastic

jeremy's "i would do the same thing for you" to spencer after saving stephen was always great to me. even though he blindsided spencer, things like that actually do help you keep trust, especially because jeremy WOULD have done that to keep spencer via meat shield.

I've never watched Survivor, but I love this channel
Just re-watched this season, and decided it's easily one of my favorites. They're all trying so hard, the game play is excellent, and the characters are really fun. I wish the women this season got more airtime and narrator editing, but the season is still top notch.
