The M10 design was finalised and standardised in June 1942. Grand Bland Arsenal built 4993 between Sept 42 and Dec 43, Ford built 1038 between Oct 42 and Dept 43. The 1st Infantry Division as involved in these campaigns. Algeria-French Morocco, Anzio, Ardennes- Alsace, Central Europe, Nappies - Foggie, Rhine Land, Rome - Arno, Sicily, Southern France, Tunisia. Another good review just add the infantry as you said John.
I would love to pick up something like this to fill out my platoons for "Tanks". I'm not that interested in Flames of War, but the much lighter Tanks skirmish game (which got replaced with the World of Tanks game) I enjoy. The base game of that originally came with a ton of extra vehicle cards, so most everything in here could be used in that game right out of the starter box.
It's good. Plastic is crisper and allows a better build. None of that garbage resin metal trash they used to do that never went together properly. Absolutely rubbish

If I had friends who played this I would consider this box as it seems a nice starter.
M10 is definitely midwar and fits. The m36 is what is odd but I think it's cool for them to ad it as an option.
It shares the sprue
@@jamesvalentine2845 yes they share the hull but it's a north african theater set which is why he pointed out that it's out of place.

Apparently M10s were first used in Tunisia in 1943, so should be okay for this set
Can I run these with Afrika Korps armored car companies at AdeptiCon?
Afrika Korp is Germany. Unlikely to ever be running alongside Americans
@@jamesvalentine2845 Current event joke. If you don’t know, you don’t know.
@@timory3105 I'll be thankful I don't know
Are they bringing mid war aircraft in?
Haven't played FoW in a long time... now they're pushing plastic pieces and not metal? Lame... hard pass...
People seem to like plastic for starter sets. It's easier to use than metal or resin. Probably a decent move for introductory sets.
It's not to every gamers tastes, sure. But you can always run a LOAD of TOG2's to get that WEIGHTY fix ;)
