      @@texasyardmanandmore3822 I’ve had 50 roses before.. survived the rain .. we have every yr. with too much rain story..i’ve got 55 more roses arriving since 20.10.2023.. October last yr. .. somehow they live being rained over everyday & no sun on them.. 6-8 hrs. of sun is needed for them.. us & them get none..

      Sounds like those roses like whatever you are doing for them. They adapt well. Survivors for sure. The clouds trap in light like a greenhouse effect.

      @@texasyardmanandmore3822 I sprinkled hormone rooting powder on the top .. forked it in a bit.. then shower type of rain dragged it in ..& they are just too healthy looking right now..sometimes i sprinkle microrizal fungi on top & fork it in.. and they root away out of sight .. white new roots..then you want to see what healthy looking roses & leaves they look..

      Most excellent. Rooting powder works great. You can start cuttings in pots.

      @@texasyardmanandmore3822 You might be far enough south to plant one of the cold-tolerant avocado varieties such as Mexicola, or Wilma, or Pryor/Del Rio/Fantastic.

    What's that fig tree that survived the winter called?

    • @texasyardmanandmore3822
      @texasyardmanandmore3822  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi Dorokaiyinvil5705. The fig tree is a "Celeste" fig. It is more cold hardy than other types of figs and is also heat tolerant.
