Thanks, it was a pretty major shift since we've used Cordura fabrics since the beginning of the company, but X-Pac just makes a lot of since for the gear we build.
This is just our guess, but since it's laminated it probably isn't any worse than regular woven fabrics. And from our testing it the layers don't seem to break down any faster than other materials. XPac has a lot of information on their site about how they use recycled materials and also work to be carbon neutral with their fabrics.
If you don't mind me asking but is there a way to get the strap separate of the bum bag regular size and put it on the XL without having to buy a bum bag to accessorize the XL? Love the smaller strap but love the bigger bag!
Cordura is great . Lost of our products are made from it. Xpac is a laminate that works with a lot of different fabrics to up abrasion resistant, increase waterproofing, reduce weight and is more environmentally friendly than other coatings typically used on fabric

Is XPAC crunchy, is it stiff and make a lot of sound when in use?
Somewhat, but it breaks in pretty quickly. It isn't nearly as loud as some other fabrics, especially DCH.
XPAC sounds like an ecological nightmare with the different microlayers

Sorry, but that combination isn't available at the moment. We would have to modify the pattern of the larger bag.
