tabs, mp3 www.dietzshred.... This is an arrangement that I made using pieces of music from the classic NES game Metroid with some pieces from the newer GBA game Metroid:Zero Mission.

Hey Dietz, this is my favorite recording of yours! You did a sweet job on the synth and guitar on this! I was rolling in my car in downtown long beach ca. to this blasting.. people just don't get it. haha
Thanks for your comment & input, I didn't want to capture every song in the game because I already had a long song with as much as I put in , also any songs like Tourian I kept short because the track loops back into the same thing where the overworld(and similar songs) have several parts to work with
I don't think the notes don't really ring too much in the original song(except the reverb of it) so that's just how I played it. Thanks for your input and comment!
WOW man that was epic, you did some savage justice to all of those songs. I am a hardcore Metroid and you have my praises. I think that is one of the best covers of all of those songs I have heard. Thank you sir
Yeah this game rocked! That's what I think the guitar is for, having fun and feeling the music. Making weird faces, dancing around, or just flat-out playing your favorite tunes. Rock on!
at the beginning I was using a lot of wah, and I also use the pickup switch. Ill usually use the bridge pickup for the aggressive tones and harmonics, then ill use the neck pickup for runs and sweep things
I'm in a band, we'll be recording some tracks next week, and we have a local show the 29th so ill be able to get more videos of us up, thanks for your comment
I used MIDI drums and some synth stuff in that track, then I recorded acoustic,electric rhythm, and bass(using processing w/ regular guitar) all to my GNX4. Then I filmed/recorded the main lead
I'm pretty sure that we're setting back up in May to finish a full-length cd. We have 4 songs recorded(the ones in my lead video), then we'll do the last 4 or so to finish it up

Well from what I know Metroid still has some popularity, there's recent metroid games out(particularly zero mission which brings the tunes back with some remixing) and these tunes are also in the SSB series. But I am a big fan of all the nintendo oldies, metroid, megaman, mario, etc. Some of that music is too good to forget
I dont remember what percent I got but I know you got more. Flying V's really aren't bad, especially this shape because i fit my leg right in the wedge and its perfectly comfortable for me. My problem was the bridge going out of tune, but that was just me. thanks for your comment!

I sold my V because I couldn't keep the bridge in tune, I think my knife edges wore or something. I still love V's, and I've found that I can sit fine with it. I would put my leg in the V part and it was no problem
The soundtrack of all metroid games always sounds AMAZING! In guitar. You should redo this and play the latest themes from metroid prime 3 corruption. Gandrayda and Rundas' theme are two themes i'd LOVE to hear you play! Still the themes you played sounded epic!
This gave me GOOSEBUMPS!!! Metroid Zero Mission was an amazing game. I never completely finished it though. I got 98%. Great job though. Keep the videos coming. How are you liking that Jackson? I've been looking into them but it seems like a pain in the ass playing it sitting down.

awesome! Try everyday, like 30 minutes. The best way to learn new ideas and songs is consistency, similarly to studying vs cramming for a test. And with consistency you'll keep getting better and better
a little bit of the main theme, the rain song(i think it's called), lost woods. I don't know how to play it, but i think my favorite track is the dark world theme from a link to the past
I think you're the first one that's noticed my shirt, my studded belt broke and I peeled off all the studs and put it on a black shirt haha. I'd make more of them but they're not too washer-friendly I dont think

This is a jackson rr3, and I'm going thru a crate 2x12, but thats only a small fraction of my sound because I record my tracks directly to my gnx4
