Interesting to see the club of Barnet. I wonder if they will ever reach the Premier or Europe. You can dream.
Byu the way I think that if the English want to help Scotland, and Wales at club level football, then they should give us a cross border cups on top of domestic and European soccer. I do not support merging the Scottish, English, and Welsh Leagues as that would destroy our football identity and history. I want 3 strong national leagues on the island of Great Britain, rather than just one or two. I want Pan-Great Britain Cups on top of European and domestic soccer, all the way down the levels at men's and women's soccer. My fave ideas would be to invite Scottish Premier sides who have not qualified for Europe, and selected Welsh Premier sides into the English Football League Trophy. Also they could invite all Welsh Premier sides, and a selection of Scottish Southern sides into the non league English FA Trophy.
The Scottish have allowed Welsh, and English and Irish sides into the Scottish Challenge Cup, so Uefa would be OK with this.
It would really help Welsh and Scottish soccer to have cross border games which give them big teams to play. It would be transformational for Welsh League soccer. Other ideas could be to invite Scottish and Welsh League sides into the FA Cup, or Football League Cup, or have a British Premier cup, of English Premier, Scottish Premier and Welsh Premier sides.
Also the Irish could be invited to enter club sides aswell.
Imagine games like Aberdeen v Newport County, Coventry City v Dundee United, Barnet v Raith Rovers, Luton Town v Holywell Town, Dumabrton v Connahs Quay Nomads, Peterhead v Chester City, Wrexham v Hibernian, Man Utd v Glasgow Celtic, or Glasgow Rangers v Arsenal FC.
Hey there, love these ideas! Who knows what can happen in the future, we shall see!
Who’s the kid in the over sized jumper?
“I want to give the club stability” that went well😂
I think you mean Adam! Haha
I've just seen this documentary. What the hell is happening now at Barnet, they were probably lucky to make the playoffs last year. this year the way they are playing, they will lucky to avoid relegation. Maybe, Tony Kleanthouse needs to review his position.
I know there have been some big changes there but hopefully Tim Flowers will turn it around! Also click subscribe to see my future videos! Thanks!
