I still get teary eyed thinking about Ann-Margret and what she did for our troops during the unpleasantness in SE asia in the 60's, when almost none of the so-called "stars" wanted to give up months of their lives for hot, wet weather and a chance to bring a little life to us over there. As usual Bob Hope was there spending his own money (and he was English born). There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Ann-Margret, not as an entertainer, but as our Angel from home.

And that's a partial list. She did a guest spot on "The Kominsky Method" just a few years ago. @@usfanlovesjiwoo1978 Yes true, - but that did not stop Elvis from having an affair with her for a good while. I don't know whether it started before the film he made with her or after - and we all know what is said about 'redheads'. I saw Ann-Margaret I don't know how many times in Vegas. She put on such good shows at Cesar's and the Aladdin. I saw Ike and Tina at the Thunderbird on the Vegas strip. I remember once Ann stopped the show one night, it was after she had recovered from her fall. There was a hole on stage and someone had put duct tape over it and she had stepped on it and almost fell again. She stopped the whole show and had stage people come out and own up to putting tape over the hole. It was quickly resolved and the show continued, but she was MAD.

Saudade faz faltar.❤❤.
