This was filmed at ATV Studios at Elstree/Borehamwood. Summer 1975. I was there that day, my brother in law worked at the studios. This was part of an Ann - Margret Special for U.S. TV. Tina had just finished filming 'Tommy' with The Who
According to an article online (Entertainment Weekly from 1996), the two met while filming 1975's "Tommy," and this performance may have helped promote that movie. Also, the following year was when Tina left Ike. Ann-Margret helped her, and recommended her divorce lawyer. I have to wonder how much Tina was suffering from Ike's abuse in '75, and how much it may have affected her performance. It's great that A-M became an ally.

As usual Bob Hope was there spending his own money (and he was English born). There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Ann-Margret, not as an entertainer, but as our Angel from home.
