    For anyone wondering his bike and equipment setup:
    - He rides a Dolan fixie frame with Nukeproof handlebars and Halo wheels (bomb proof allegedly). It is as 47/17 gear ratio I think.
    - He uses Blahol bags to keep the food warm.
    - His helmet is a Bontrager Ballista
    - During winter he wore a thermal long sleeve base layer, long sleeve top and jacket.
    Hope this helps someone loads and loads of questiona about Josephs gear.

      Eat lots, I guess. Also can depend on riding style (sprinting, riding in a big gear) and actual environment you're riding in (hills, traffic). A lot of it is perspective and experience though, I think! Will gradually build up over time.

      Depends on the situation but I usually turn it off and take it off. Exposure lights use a little pin thing to keep them in place which would probably be quite fiddly for those who aren't used to using them but still not worth the risk of someone taking it while I have my back turned.

That way if the drinks/ice creams do leak, it only goes in your bag and doesn't spoil the whooole delivery. Hasn't failed me once. Joseph Kendrick So I literally just started and I've only done a few deliveries but I was wondering if you had any tips when it comes to using the navigation app and finding apartments?
    The navigation app sometimes tells me to go one direction, then switches back and fourth. I'm trying to be efficient as possible and I'd say the only things in my way are the navi app and finding apartments, maybe make a video on it please?
    Also: What are the best times to work in cities, great videos and thanks keep it up!

    • @josephxkendrick
      @josephxkendrick  4 роки тому +1

      The only thing I can suggest is breaking your dependency on the suggested navigation. You will slowly learn the area, main roads, important junctions, general direction you are heading in (N/S/W/E) and the scale of distances relative to the map and your riding speed. This is much better knowledge to learn than following the navigation. I just take a mental image of the suggested route and then process it as I ride, remembering the series of junctions and turns I need to take. This is especially crucial because a lot of the time the suggested route is trash, for the wrong vehicle type and changes along the way too.
      I don't know where you're working but in London it is good almost all day long depending on whereabouts you are. Obviously, there are lunch and evening rushes - but sometimes I find more couriers come online at this time and restaurants can become overcrowded with delays, so it's not necessarily the best time. You'll slowly get a feel for it, brother!
