I've missed your travel videos, especially the emphasis on great food. Based on your past videos I spent 3 months in Argentina last year. Salta, Cafayate, Tilcara, Alta Gracia, and Villa Carlos Paz. Planned to stay a lot longer and just pay the overstay fine, but my 84 yr old dad developed heart problems so went home. Hope to eventually get back down there. Have been accumulating camp gear to take advantage of all the affordable campgrounds everywhere. Enjoyed traveling to a bunch of countries in recent years but Argentina is the one that makes me want to come back. And stay!
Your new videos about Patagonia, including this one, are really good. The nature scenery is the best part of all of them, although some of the cuisine also looked good.
The history of the Welsh settlers is quite extraordinary. And there were indigenes around when they arrived. Bruce Chatwin wrote beautifully about them.
Thank you guys for this beatiful video about Trevelyn and its surrounding magnific landscape. If you like to consider a trip on the Patagonian Atlantic Coast, there you'll find another three welsh cities: Rawson, Trelew and Gaiman. Princess Diana visited those places when she came to Argentina many years ago. And of course, you have very near access from there to the penguin and sea lyons colonies on Península Valdés. Godspeed !!
Thanks for watching. Yes, we actually did a big trip along coastal Patagonia back in 2019 and loved it! We split our time between Puerto Madryn and Península Valdés and then continued down to Trelew, Gaiman, Dolavon - we hit up as many Welsh communities as we could. A fascinating history, for sure!
Guys,I must admit I've not watched your channel for a while.Found a little bit surprising the change in Samuel's style ;) and I'm so happy to see still videos from Argentina .Thank you!
Wow! Lovely Landscapes! Another perfect video! Guys, I think you should buy that Abandoned Hotel, perform a total Renovation on it just to run it right after! You would own 2 Hotels in 2 of the country's Hot Spots! Lol (I wish you could!) Cheers! (your videos are so Mouth Watering, I end up feeling Hunger every time I watch them haha)
We love cool-cold weather and are looking around researching the Patagonia area….just don’t know if most of the towns would get boring being so small ? Bariloche maybe ? Your thoughts ?
Trevelin is very beautiful. A part of Wales in Argentina. The Welsh populated those lands when no one dared to do so, due to the attack of the Indians. Thanks for this wonderful video.
While the welsh settlements are a significant part of the history of towns likes Trevelin, the complete disregard for the native Mapuche communities that have lived in these areas for thousands of years shows a wilful lack of understanding. The town of Trevelin would not have been founded or survived without people of Welsh, Chilean and Mapuche heritage.
@@samuelandaudrey I mean difficult to fault it’s so nice! AND I forgot I enjoyed the options of vegetarian meal at the beginning (thank you)I don’t think you did it on purpose but for once something I could eat!! 😉 I kind worry about what our options would be as a vegetarian family since we know Argentines love their meat. 😬That could be interesting… I’m due to visit maybe I need to vlog as a vegetarian visitor what are the options 🤔 food for thoughts 💭
Hola Audrey y Samuel siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii video, se los extrañaban. A mirar y esperar la versión en español. Audrey habrá vídeos con Daniel ? Saludos desde Córdoba Edgardo 🍷.
7:24 it almost never rains here, everything always floods because basically nothing in the town was made with such pouring in mind. You were so unlucky (or lucky, if you actually enjoy rain) to come here near in this season
I enjoy your vids very much. I have been following you since you have been the first time in SA, In the Wilderness-area. Seeing what you are trying to achieve - do you think it is wise to post something once a month?
When Audrey speaks Spanish, it sounds like music to me. I speak 3 languages myself and I understand how important it is to have someone around to help you learn the language. If Sam has the opportunity, why doesn't he speak Spanish fluently? Since Samuel is Canadian, with gorgeous hair and a beret, does that mean he speaks French fluently?💖😂🥰
Greetings I’m from hambretina located in a town called sincomida would loved to eat I have two weeks without eating please help fellow foreigners 🥺🥺🥺🇦🇷

Dear Samuel & Audrey,Thank👏you! for always--"Supporting a local business."
Thanks James! We've really been making an effort to showcase small local businesses doing cool things here in Patagonia. 😊
Beautiful mountains!
They are! One of our favourite things about Trevelin is that the mountains are so close it feels like you can reach out and touch them. 😊🏔️✨
@@samuelandaudrey Wonderfully!

What an amazing gourmet vegetarian meal that was at the vineyard. What was the gnocchi filled with ?
Yes, it was an amazing vegetarian meal! The gnocchi wasn't stuffed with anything - they were just that plump. So good!! 😊

I had no idea how evil and nasty Argentina and its people were until I watched the Top Gear episode.
