I am happy for you. As for me I can't wait to move to Australia, I love that country and Zimbabwe for me requires you to have a second passport because it's so unpredictable.
2014-2016 i moved back to zim. I had a small business going. It was difficult and sometimes annoying. The business was making me 75 dollars a day. I was happy to afford Daily News + bread. I remember getting in a kombi and always finding someone to talk to. Annoyed me that everytime they would ask for my Daily News before i even had time to read, however that was the best part. I made friends and gained a lot of advice for free. In Aussie, i would pay

How are you Kudzie? Happy New year . thank you so much for sharing that important information. It's the same with me no matter where you are making money . Home is best. And I understand the feeling that draws you in moving back home. I am feeling the same way too.❤
It was enlightening to learn about the experiences that led to your decision. It's clear that the decision was made after careful thought about what's best for you and your family. I admire your courage to take that big step. Wishing you all the best in your journey and future endeavors in Zim.

Didnt go out of the country. Im from harare. Was sent to bulawayo for work for 3 whole years. I understood the part where you just wanted to come back to your relatives. The experience of losing out on close family events because i had to work away just really broke my heart. Happy to be home again. I get to see my mother every day again now.❤
Thank you kudzi for that because some of our fellow Zimbabweans here..they hide being Zimbabweans, you would ask, where do you come from and you will be shocked to hear them saying am a south African..they don't understand that one day they will be exposed
@TinsosAfricanExcursion for South Africa it's not even anything to do with inferiority complex, it's the way South African look at Zimbabweans living there. Once you say you are from Zim they just start treating you differently and think of the worst of you because our fellow brothers an sisters are doing a lot of bad staff in the SA so most SAn are vocal about hating zimbos and sometimes one would not want to subject yourself to the hatred especially if you stay in the locations. Ps I stayed in SA before relocating to Australia so I also experienced it first hand. I would also judge people who say they are SAn before until I experienced it and understood why
@@lyn3995-r5r yeah but sometimes us Zimbabweans, we just feel ashamed to be Zimbabweans because we are not proud to Zimbabweans like kudzi..that's why south Africans would say you don't look Zimbabwean ,especially if dresses well because they have leant about our inferiority attitude
@TinsosAfricanExcursion we not proud of who we are like kudzi and others, we say all sorts negativity and hoping that south africans will sympathies with us but when they don't and actually treated us like trash then we start saying things like, am not a Zimbabwean but it's us who put ourselves in that position
What this young lady has discovered is the reality of life, it's not about the abundance of material things but a deep settled peace. I left my native homeland over fifty years ago to go to America. I left as a young man, but I knew that one day I would have had a family, and so I wanted to give them fertile ground for them to raise a family, now that all my children are now all adults I have left America with no regrets. From the day that I left the Caribbean I promised myself that I would be returning to my native homeland, I am glad that I always put going back home as my future plans, I am now retired in Panama and enjoying every moment of it, life couldn't have been better, I am at peace in my soul, remember this one thing my people, living in foreign countries, you never really owns anything, and if you think you have enough money, become sick and not work for one year , I guarantee that you would become penniless and homeless, in Zimbabwe you own your house in foreign countries you only lease your possessions, in your latter years in life the taxes on your property would tell you who really owns your home, congratulations my sister you made a wise decision, blessings to you 🙏.
Its like you are speaking to my spirit. I recently lost my elder brother in Zimbabwe after 7 years being in SA, since then inside me i feel like nothing is making sense to me unless i go back home and reconnect with my family, the problem is i feel like i am not financially capable for that transition 😢 m dying inside cant even focus at all... I hope God will give me strength to pick my self up again. Thank you for sharing your story 🙏
I'm really sorry for the loss of your brother 😔 I hope your prayer can be answered and you can come home to be with your family and in the meantime, have strength to carry on🙏🏽🙏🏽
Longing to move back home after experiencing a great loss . Eish I can relate with that .Moving back home was always the idea anyway. I remember when I left prior to year 2000 I was hoping to make some cash in diaspora and then bring it back home . That plan got complicated 😂
Many don't realize what u realized, defining your enough in terms of monitory terms. Some ppl die in foreign countries while chasing money longer than u did.Others made more than u but is never enough for them.I with lot of your skilled fellow countryman in South Africa,UK etc can realize this.Home is best.Iam blessed as a South African that i never needed to migrate permanently from SA, ive been to Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Malaysia, Uganda, Uk, United States of America, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Qatar, Canada, Thailand, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Lesotho, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, Swaziland, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Botswana, Phillipines, Cambodia, France, Italy, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Turkey, Malaysia, India, Singapore, United Arab emirates, Ireland etc.Ppl can go wherever they want for learning n experience but home is best 4 me.Always remember your home thats were u belong
When it comes to moving back home or abroad, this has always been a personal preference. We learn from your insights but it is not a rule that everyone should follow. Think about it, it's just quite difficult to be surrounded by families when you do not have money, even their perceptions would be a bit different than when you have money. (LOL, like now they may see you as a rich aunt and you can even do a lot of things with the wealth you collected in Australia for the past 17 years). My point is, as much as money is still a satisfier of most people's needs, it also add great value on how family members see you. I have seen many people who value culture and traditions with no money and they are in the worse situations struggling to their core in Africa.
Culture is actually a dumb thing to base your life choices on. Culture isn't static. I am 100% sure the current zim Culture is way different from the Monomopata or monomotapa i learned back in high school😂. And so is the Greek culture of Aristotle vs today's or Rome vs Italy etc
I'm really happy for you kuti you managed to go back home, I see many people saying kuti Zimbabwe is the best place to be right now, thank you so much for wonderful content...keep it up wangu
@kudzienicolle pliz do, and let us know if you shipped your furniture. We are in NZ at the moment. Moved here a yr ago, but have plans of retiring back in Zim.
Children growing up in Africa are so confident. I brought my kids back to Africa and they’re flying! What peoples lie about Africans and snatch away the confidence
Africa is vast and different . Majority are struggle with hunger and worse, wars. I grew up in a region torn by tribal wars ... and 50 years on, they are still fighting 😢
@@I-M99 Not at all.majority of struggles in the continent are caused and executed by our own people. Time for Africans to take responsibility, for goodness' sake!
@BigBrother04 exactly. And even within Zimbabwe there exist multiple communities of suffering people. Sometimes we are blind to our privileges. Not everyone is privileged to be in a position to move back to Africa. Each to their own.
It’s great to see that you put family values first over continuously chasing money. How refreshing! Please do address in your next video(s) if you considered bi-coastal living, owning property both in Australia & Zim. Or you are now completely invested in our homeland now. Also do you see the benefits of ever returning to Aussie or you are completely satisfied with settling & eventually retiring in Zim.
Kudzie I sooooooo enjoyed and loved this video so so much!!!!!! It’s so much resonating with me a lot!!! Your delivery was top notch!!!! Pama headwraps urinkutwin wangu chaiye 😄I rock my headwraps with pride almost on the daily here in the US and I love my locs too. Thank you so much Kudzie and a blessed New Year in our beautiful Motherland of Zimbabwe 😘❤️🇿🇼
I know you are joking, Australia is such a beautiful country with lovely people. I like it here in Adelaide. Will be visiting Africa every year until I reach my retirement age then return peacefully.
Your superannuation balance is still healthy for now. Reality will kick in later. Zimbabwe is not easy without the dollars. Unavailability of basic services in Zimbabwe will drain you. Other than that, home is always best.
If 16 million people can live in Zimbabwe with all its challenges then the diaspora can come back if they want to. For some its a matter of life and death as depression takes its toll. Not everything is negative and about money and basic services.
Nice video there, am one person who follows my heart, i got Australian NSW PR in 2016 ,visited once, tried to migrate 2019 and things didn't work according to my plan went back to SA where i also have PR, planning to retire at 50 and go back to zim
You made a wise decision for your son and entire family. Are you going to get into Corporate job roles in Zimbabwe?Glad, you commented on retirement planning.
Hi Kudzie, i've been watching your vidz since 2023 and i like your honesty. Ndafarira pawati, i have achieved a lot in Aus 'cashwize' and i still love Aus, not zvevanhu vanoda kuudza vanhu kuti "hakuna chiriko kunze uku bla bla bla..,home is best chii chii"
Its time we all come back and fight for our country together with our Highly Honored Leadership we shud stand together ❤our Ancestors are something of a kind ,and lets not forget that
There is nothing wrong with going back to Zimbabwe we all want to , but we need to understand the reason why we moved out of Zimbabwe.I would agree if we say we are planning our retirement back in Zimbabwe as it is more expensive to retire abroad than in Zimbabwe.
Economically and politically, Zim might is facing some problems. But if you make proper plan, Zimbabwe is very enjoyable. Secret, make sure you have concrete business plan before relocating. Jobs don't pay well in Zim but you do well if you run your own business. Good thing, opportunities for running business in Zim are vast, just be open minded and you will make more money in Zim
That was a bold decision. Zim is poorly managed zvayo but the urge of coming back home is in the hearts of many living in diaspora. Problem is politics. I tell you if things change for the better people will come back in numbers.
I hope things work out for you in Zimbabwe. I would never recommend someone to take that step though. I know too many cases of people who went back with dreams, plans, and resources to invest only to return to the diaspora with nothing. Things are hard everywhere but Zimbabwe is harder. I hope you have Australian citizenship so you can always have that fallback option if things in Zim don’t work out.
Zim is the place to be right now. The Chinese are moving into Zimbabwe in droves. Please diasporans, let's go and build our nation. I started from last year. Zimbabwe is incredible.
you only go back to Zim when you have enough liquidity cashflow to sustain you in Zim. Buy Zim property outright no debt. Start a business doing fly in fly out Zim whilst based overseas. Once youre confident in your cashflows, then move the family permanently. Overseas make sure you own property outright or have tenants paying off property for you and the mortgage gap needs to be manageable. Find good schools and a good driver. Never ever drive yourself in Zim. Get a chauffeur driver if youre going to run a business in Zim. Get 2 chauffeur drivers, one for yourself and one for the (kids & wife). Get an accountant to help you with cashflow management. If shit hits the fan, your insurance policy is your overseas property. Never ever sell your overseas property unless youre above 60yo.
I'm based in New Zealand 🇳🇿 and this right here is my strategy. I moved to NZ 2 years ago when I was 37 so will be chasing the paper for the next 30 years raising my 2 kids to implement this strategy you just mentioned. Zve Zim imboyitai. Let us know when you decide to go back to Aussy.
with the rise of Artificial intelligence: black jobs are not safe overseas. Yes it might take 5-10years for the jobs losses to be pronounced. But why risk staying here overseas if the ai-human capital war is coming. Im an Accountant, and definitely my Profession will be automated and done by an Artificial intelligence system. It wud be prudent to start exit planning now. Zim will be our ai refuge. some of us have gone back to University to study Construction Management degrees, so as to go back to Zim as professional Australian Builders. ai cannot take over Construction. @chirasha-nz-zim
This is very correct, it doesn’t have to be about the feeling alone, that feeling has to be backed up with some cash flow, but for this particular scenario, considering the number of years they spent in Ausie, maybe they are pensionable so they surely have something to back up the feeling, and they also have properties in Ausie, and if they have again in Zim then yes, that feeling will come, but if u don’t have any cash flow u WONT have that feeling maturing into anything trust me
@@chirasha-nz-zimhaaaa next 30 it’s too much, u will be 67 and at that point u should be well settled in a place that u will die there, long into your retirement, or false ninely running a well settled up business , maybe 10-15 years old , not packing bags and relocating at 67, who will u connect to at that age, set a target bro and hit it much much earlier , my advice
My son is 6 and when he tells me how non african treat him at school I ask myself how long will he feels like this? Ohhh God help us make wise choice...
Hello. What your son was subjected to must have been the main contributing factor imho. The rest feels like noise. I can imagine what he felt especially being so young and different. Hope it works out well for you all
Home is always the best but there are some things that we need to be mindful of,no social services if you happen to be involved in an accident that's when reality will kick in. The country is rotten to the core we all want to come back home but its in dip sh*t.
I totally agree especially if your loved one is diagnosed with critical conditions. You feel helpless with medical aid shortfalls. Poor hospital services at government hospitals and private hospitals are way expensive that’s when you realize Zim can be tough. But everyone’s experience is different. Some afford to fly out for treatment in a blink
That's the pain they've been shielded from. It's not their daily experience, losing countless loved ones to treatable conditions or lack of medical attention in emergency situations. That traumatised me a lot ! Healthcare alone is a valid reason to leave Zim. Havazvizive ! Let's not even talk about the economy and job market for young people. The country is a joke.
😂😂 Zim is not for the weak weduwe. My advice to those in the diaspora, is to first visit home for a month at a time. Atleast 3 times before you make that decision. Visiting and living here full time are 2 completely different experiences. Also consider things like healthcare and basic services like electricity.
Zimbabweans are bitter Kudzie, 😂 we don't have an outlet to vent our political and economic frustrations because its a crime. The general sentiment in the country is one of frustration and disappointment especially amongst the lower and middle classes. When you come on here( YT) talking about moving back to Zimbabwe you are going against the status quo and it is frowned upon because people assume you belong to a group of ruling black elites that opress the rest of the country. They also can't understand why you would give up the luxury of overseas living where your tax payers money actually works, unless you had a cushy upbringing. Its quite unusual to come back home when the masses are fleeing. I hope this helps to explain the negative comments, Enjoy Zim snd i hope you do find the peace you're looking for. And for the majority that will leave, I hope they find it wherever life leads them
Zimbabwe yakadhakwa iyi musatinyengera, people are sold land or stands by zanu people and the same people demolish their houses again, when it comes to hospitals we have to go to neighboring countries to get medical attention, wangu after 17 years you have papers to stay in Australia and look for other jobs you are different from other zimbos If Zim was so good we would never see an influx of people into UK, Poland, Lithuania and so many countries in Europe, America and all other parts of the world Kana zvenyu zvakarongeka musati zvakanakira nesu tose Pamwe makatopiwa Gold na garwe Gold Mafia revanhu
Saka mati tese tobuda muzimbabwe here 😂😂😂 if you understand the concept of social balance you will definitely see her point of view, there is a point were nothing else matters. And one thing about humans we adapt she will adapt
It depends whether she had a house or not. I'm sitting pretty thank God . I dont have to cope with. Dangerous roads power cuts noise pollution, " airtime pano mari dzakabvaruka tinotenga, mabvarubvaru " Thats insanity that nearly drove me crazy last year. I have concluded I'm too old for that insanity. I saw southern Rhodesia that's why . Evethimg was working. Just look at the size of fences and gates then you know in my twilight years I am safe where I am
@@kurrieoriginale3613😅😅😅 seldom times people tell the truth when relocating to Zimbabwe from abroad.... they wont tell you the achieved their target, they start telling you about peace of mind etc.
You seem to be loaded hence it was easier for you to relocate. However, this does not apply to most people in the diaspora. It's a good video but not sure it it reflects the reality of life in Zimb. Otherwise Zimb is a beautiful country but you need to be loaded and understand life there first before you move back.
I have watched some of your videos and have observed that you are unnecessarily repetitive in your sentences. Try to be concise and to the point. E.g you spent the whole 1st 90 minutes explaining why you are posting this video.
Why are you deleting some comments about people who know reality. I have unsubscribed. If you are not ready to hear constructive criticism you will never improve only liking and responsing to people who only want to tell you what you want to feed your ego and worship you. People worship you right now because you have money. I know Australia, USA, UK and rest of Europe. I am an Australian, with dual citizenship for USA and UK. Pleas make sure your facts are correct before telling stories for views and likes.
I am so sorry, l listened to your video in full and heard you talking about spending time with family (the value of time with family). Sorry for your loss and my earlier comment.
You have money that's why you are loving it in Zimbabwe. You moved back coz you were done making money in Australia. Now back , and you are looking for more money via You tube making videos about why you changed plans to look for money
@@kudzienicolle yeah you are not alone ...its the cycle of life ....there are many youtubers telling the same boring story. Struggling Zimbos wish they had the opportunity you had , most Zimbabeans are struggling you cant be telling them this euphoric story of enjoying life in Zim

Thank you kudzi for that because some of our fellow Zimbabweans here..they hide being Zimbabweans, you would ask, where do you come from and you will be shocked to hear them saying am a south African..they don't understand that one day they will be exposed
I have witnessed this a lot i don't know why Zimbos lie ,inferiority complex i guess... why lie that you are South African
It's very sad for our people to do that😔
@TinsosAfricanExcursion for South Africa it's not even anything to do with inferiority complex, it's the way South African look at Zimbabweans living there.
The ancestors called you back home and kuddos to you for listening to that calling

Thank you 🙏🏽 your story of always having a plan to move back home is very inspiring

I know...it gets very complicated 😅
Well done Kudzi, I think most of us are on our way back. Home is best

Thanks for sharing...and wow! You've been to a lot of countries! You're right, home is best!!
Yes, I guess everyone's experience and perspective is different
She narrated her story and experience in her channel. You can broadcast your own perceptive and perhaps your experience in your own channel.
@ thanks for the advice.
Culture is actually a dumb thing to base your life choices on. Culture isn't static. I am 100% sure the current zim Culture is way different from the Monomopata or monomotapa i learned back in high school😂. And so is the Greek culture of Aristotle vs today's or Rome vs Italy etc

💯
Africa is vast and different . Majority are struggle with hunger and worse, wars. I grew up in a region torn by tribal wars
... and 50 years on, they are still fighting 😢
@@newafricanforum good for you. Those struggles are authored by those people making narratives about us
@@I-M99 Not at all.majority of struggles in the continent are caused and executed by our own people.

I know you are joking, Australia is such a beautiful country with lovely people. I like it here in Adelaide. Will be visiting Africa every year until I reach my retirement age then return peacefully.
Sounds like a good plan. All the best to you 🙏🏽
Your superannuation balance is still healthy for now. Reality will kick in later. Zimbabwe is not easy without the dollars. Unavailability of basic services in Zimbabwe will drain you. Other than that, home is always best.
Superannuation? That's not my source of income
If 16 million people can live in Zimbabwe with all its challenges then the diaspora can come back if they want to. For some its a matter of life and death as depression takes its toll. Not everything is negative and about money and basic services.

I always felt that mother land feeling and it's just saying bro go home you miss the smells of the ground .
I know that feeling 🙂
There is nothing wrong with going back to Zimbabwe we all want to , but we need to understand the reason why we moved out of Zimbabwe.I would agree if we say we are planning our retirement back in Zimbabwe as it is more expensive to retire abroad than in Zimbabwe.
Spiritual connection with motherland is essential. My strategy is to live a balanced life between Zim and OZ.
That sounds great 👍🏾
Economically and politically, Zim might is facing some problems.
Absolutely 💯
Not every one is struggling or chasing money some of us have settled in very well.its the not the same with everyone
Yes, people have different experiences 🙂
Zimbabweans I know in NZ are doing pretty well.. one mechanic has got probably 10 houses by now and a few businesses in Zim.
How is life as a family in zim? Life as married couple in zim what do you do ? What's your routine how is it different to aussie? X
I will share in future videos🙂
That was a bold decision. Zim is poorly managed zvayo but the urge of coming back home is in the hearts of many living in diaspora. Problem is politics. I tell you if things change for the better people will come back in numbers.
I long to see the day when many are able to come back🙏🏽
I hope things work out for you in Zimbabwe.
I appreciate you sharing that. I have seen people here who have moved back are are very successful. Unfortunately those stories are not shared often

One month in Zim chete? Please give us an update every 6 months on how you're finding Zim. Good video BTW
Thank you 🙏🏽
you only go back to Zim when you have enough liquidity cashflow to sustain you in Zim.
Great points there👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm based in New Zealand 🇳🇿 and this right here is my strategy.

Ziggy currency how far?😢
It's there🙂
Home is always the best but there are some things that we need to be mindful of,no social services if you happen to be involved in an accident that's when reality will kick in.
The country is rotten to the core we all want to come back home but its in dip sh*t.
People are still living and thriving regardless...that's my observation and experience
Ubi bene ibi patria😂
That's the pain they've been shielded from. It's not their daily experience, losing countless loved ones to treatable conditions or lack of medical attention in emergency situations. That traumatised me a lot ! Healthcare alone is a valid reason to leave Zim. Havazvizive ! Let's not even talk about the economy and job market for young people. The country is a joke.
@@rufaromachingambi1407even ma private acho, honestly Trauma Centre is the only one I would give a pass. The rest is a game of chance !
😂😂 Zim is not for the weak weduwe. My advice to those in the diaspora, is to first visit home for a month at a time. Atleast 3 times before you make that decision. Visiting and living here full time are 2 completely different experiences. Also consider things like healthcare and basic services like electricity.
Yes people need to plan before moving back but there also many others that have moved back successfully. There are always 2 sides to a coin🙂
Hi Kudzie . Did you study in Australia ?
Hey🙂 yes I did
Zimbabweans are bitter Kudzie, 😂 we don't have an outlet to vent our political and economic frustrations because its a crime. And for the majority that will leave, I hope they find it wherever life leads them
Thank you for the explanation 🙏🏽 makes perfect sense.
Beautiful
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Interesting
Zimbabwe yakadhakwa iyi musatinyengera, people are sold land or stands by zanu people and the same people demolish their houses again, when it comes to hospitals we have to go to neighboring countries to get medical attention, wangu after 17 years you have papers to stay in Australia and look for other jobs you are different from other zimbos
