I bought one of these in 1982 in Canada. In North America, the "National" brand name was not used by Matsushita, so the version I had was Panasonic. It lasted until 1994.

Nice, though I think it should have lasted longer than that. The National name was used for a while in some Countries, and until recently in Japan.
