For anyone who look at data after transferred successfully and it's not appeared on your mac, you should open finder then move your mouse to GO tab and click to Computer -> Click to Macintosh HD -> click folder users -> click folder shared -> boom your transfer's data was here...

Even though I have turned all of my running apps off, I cannot do anything as the migration app keeps telling me to turn off Edge. I have tried to restart my computer a few times but the problem still persists. Ultimately, after eradicating Edge from my life, the migration app told me that for somehow Edge was still alive and I had to accept it. :)

I was able to fix the problem with the help of microsoft support.
The task manager wasn’t showing any programs running. However when you click the more details on the task manager window it shows a fuller extent of all programs and processes running. I was able to end the Edge task there.
I hope this helps someone out there.

I have been a PC person since early 1990s and I am ready to try IOS but worried about changing everything. This is helpful! I have Samsung Galaxy phones, tablets, and watchees but ready for Apple.

Regarding third-party apps, it can be a bit tricky as we do not support them, but the developer does. For this reason, we recommend contacting Microsoft regarding compatibility/transfers/and any other questions about features within their apps.
Regarding our Migration Assistant, you can choose to move all of your content to your new Mac. This will include any files you have saved on your Mac storage. Just in case you didn’t know about it, you can also use iCloud Drive to store files instead of on the Mac built-in storage: s.apple.com/dE4q7o5d9A

Migration doesn’t work for me. Tried it three time and every time it get’s stuck in the end and the bar doesn’t move at all. Waited for hours and nothing happens. Is there any other efficient way to transfer the data from windows to mac?

Wouldn’t WiFi be the slowest way?
This is gonna be really helpful for me when I have the time to do this!!
We need features like
1. App lock to lock any application
2. PiP for WhatsApp and facebook video calls
3. call recording is a MUST HAVE in the times of fraud
Wtf iphone doesnt have this? How about turning any app into a floating bubble or pip or simply split or dual screen if it folds?
You can split screen any phone i mean if it folds its cooler and idk how good a 1:4 ratio split looks on a zflip. Like sometimes i like the teeny tiny yt player when you scrolling to doomsville on the bottom but i should trolling yt on a sec network or dual sim or nvpn so i split and i move the border juuust above the tiny player in the yt app. Now i have 1:32 yt and solitaire yasss. Time to learn how to play solitaire yall

i tried this. the Apple Sr tech told me never to migrate assist and/or use parallels. Why? They are two different operating systems.
After clearing and reset, and also wiping the computer in recovery mode, my PC still appears as “Wi-Fi”.
If someone could offer advice, i would greatly appreciate it!

This can be done wirelessly over your home Wi-Fi network, or if you prefer you can connect an Ethernet cable between the ports on your Mac and PC to create a direct network connection instead. (Some Mac models require an Ethernet adapter, such as the Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter or Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter).

I want everything in one user account because I want to cope documents and edit and add of the existing files. I am looking for ways how to merge user accounts and it is only doable with iPad account. I cannot merge ASUS user account and Mac user account. I just bought a new MacBook Pro and made all the steps correctly like taught on this video and nothing worked correctly, it's really hell. my new MacBook is in a mess, the system preferences and the App Store app wont launch, they say there is a error, all my files (that took more than 48 hours to transfer!!!) are nowhere and I already have 3 different users to try to solve this problem.... Loads to 90 Then gets stuck for hrs does nothing and I try again guess what goes to 90 % and gets stuck again

Does this turn Exe into Mac files?
Hello! We can help guide you regarding data transfer. An .exe file will not become a .dmg file by moving the file to a Mac. So for an app installer, for example, you will need a Mac compatible version in order for it to be installed to a Mac.
