E-Scooters and E-Unicycles are set to be banned on all TFL services from Monday 13th of December. I give you my thoughts.

Really enjoy your videos Taylor, here in Auckland E Scooters have never been allowed on busses full stop, even push bikes are banned except trains and ferries due to health and safety reasons.

Obese people take up way too much room on all public transport. Some take up an entire double seat position and some even need the entire back seat. Those mobility scooters which are ridden quite often recklessly also have a battery of considerable power too. They don't seem to be banned though.

That's an abuse. If the scooter is faulty should be addressed with manufacturers and sellers. We citizens should not be help accountable for this stuff. I think they made up the story with escooter on fire anyway. It is clear they do not want us to use escooter as if is bad for their business and good for environment.

A ban on public transport seems more than fair, they take up a load of room on the tube - you get people standing with them on the central line between bank and mile end, taking up a load of room on the tube - not even bothering to fold the thing up. But I do think they should be made road legal - speaking as someone who doesn't use a scooter, never has, most probably never will and doesn't know anyone who does either.

Tlf and your rational is a joke.... Your phone and the electric tube/overground/bus has bigger batteries.... Its all about milking the rental scooters... I'm waiting the day when our Escooter burn our houses down while charging rather than the phone

It's about time those e-scooters and all of that e-rubbish are banned from the TfL network, a huge risk not just for the companies assets, but also for those who do have mobility or sight issues on the streets.
Ensignbus who runs buses around Lakeside/Grays area and X80 route to Bluewater have banned the e-scooters and anything that is related to that on their buses for nearly a year now.

Yeah i wont be allowing nobody after seeing this video, i just allowed someone the other day and they were with their child - and they didn’t even fold it like the old rule.
But now with these rules, im not playing.

Yeah don’t allow anyone not only are they impractical to carry on a bus they are a fire hazard I almost had to call the police the other day because someone with an e scooter refused to get off and because under pcv regulations it’s a danger to the safety of the passengers I refused to move the bus until they got off

I don't like the E-Scooters in general. I did see one of those E-Unicycles a few days ago. I never knew they existed. Ridiculous things.
I have never seen any of those things on a bus here in Dublin. They probably bring them on the train or tram, though. No word yet about them being banned on public transport. Not unless they have already been banned.
