I'm excited about the IDEA of Lionheart in XIV, but I think it looks super jank in the job action trailer. In VIII it launches the target in the air and then you're both suspended for the duration of the animation. In XIV when using it on a grounded target you just kind of hover a foot off the ground and flail around at the target who just stands there...

Not only does the Lion Heart attack itself essentially mimic Omnislash from FF7, but it ALSO comes with that first barrage of "Trigger!" attacks right before that.

This was the first final fantasy game i ever finished. That junction system was kinda a pain especially when you had to reset stuff when switching party members, but other than that it was a fun ride.

Please explain to me how to get the Lionheart attack at the end?? I usually get a random one or nothing at all at the end? also when it says TARGET at the bottom when it starts should I press anything?? I playing on PC... Thanks

Hey, first you need to unlock the Lionheart weapon, after that the Lionheart finisher has a 25% chance when you use Squall limit break Renzokuken. The button for attacks on Playstation is R1, try letter "G" on PC. It's the same button used to increase damage on Squall regular attacks. Hope you are able to unlock the finisher as well!

You can only get Lion Heart if you have the actual gunblade pictured in this video. You need the following to build it: 1 Adamantine, 4 Dragon Fang, and 12 Pulse Ammo. If you already know that, then disregard this section.
Also, I believe getting the actual attack to pop up itself depends on many things, but mainly Squall's Critical Level. The less HP he has, I believe the higher the odds he has of using it. You can also get it more often, I think, if he is under the influence of Aura. But don't hold me to that...
